The owner is the friendliest person and went out of their way to help us. And the FOOD! 😋 It's so tasty because they have their own livestock and cook with fresh vegetables and meat. You can really taste the difference. 10/10, will absolutely be staying here again!”

We are a couple from the Netherlands and spent 3 nights at this family run B&B.  We were friendly welcomed by granny. Since we were the first and only guests to arrive that day we could pick any room. We chose one room with 2 large beds at the top floor, close to a balcony with laundry basin and drying lines.  While waiting for her daughter Madam Ye and her grandson to come home we were treated homemade tea. Granny also led us through the village to find us a nice little restaurant for lunch.  The B&B is conveniently located in the middle of the village, in a block right accross the main square. On the road accross the square you can find small grocery shops and a few restaurants serving delicious local specialties.  Speaking about local specialties... Madam Ye prepares a delicious Chinese breakfast offering a variety of homemade dishes that go very well with the rice porridge and mantou. Fresh cooked eggs, fermented cucumber and turnip, various kinds of bamboo shoots, deep fried ricecake slices and some special glutinous rice snack called qingtun.  Madam Ye and her son helped us to arrange transport and assisted us with purchasing tickets to the Yunhe Terraces. We were picked up by a driver at 4:30 in the morning so that we could see the sunrise in time. Worried about us not having had breakfast that early, madam Ye got up at 3 am to make us a rich and filling breakfast. Such a kind, polite and hospitable gesture. We felt so bad we hardly had eaten any because we could not have the driver wait for so long. Madam Ye said we were fortunate we picked the correct date for seeing the sunrise above Yunhe Titian. We had an almost clear blue sky that morning. The next day it started raining.... But on that rainy day we were lucky again to witness a local festivity that only takes place once in every 5 or 6 years, where all villagers worship the gods of fortune.  The fireworks, the marching and music we witnessed it all. Indeed we felt lucky 😁 After our last dinner at a local restaurant just around the corner we came back at the B&B and agreed with Madam Ye what time we would have breakfast and what time her son would drive us to the bus station. She again mentioned how lucky we were because that evening a Chinese opera was performing at the local village hall. Together we walked up there and to enjoy some wonderful Chinese opera before walking back to the B&B again after having spent another joyful day at Chongtou village. Please visit this lovely little village in Yunhe County and stay in this lovely little family B&B. The village Chongtou, the Yunhe terraces and this B&B, our lovely little home there, will stay in our memories forever....

The proprietress introduced in detail how to swim to change clouds and terraces. For the first time, I will be more familiar with how to play. In addition, the proprietress and the boss personally sent us to the visitor center in the morning. Breakfast is also a special feature here. I also asked the boss to give me two more steamed buns. The boss is very enthusiastic

I booked this guesthouse last year, but couldn't go for some reason. Finally, I got to go this year! From Lishui Station, it's less than a ten-minute walk to the Yunhe Rice Terraces Visitor Center. The moment I entered the courtyard, I could tell it was thoughtfully designed; the layout was perfect, and the cleanliness made it very comfortable. The guesthouse owners were incredibly welcoming. They escorted the three of us to our room. I was a little confused about the Yunhe Rice Terraces travel guide, and the owner explained everything in detail, even contacting the attractions to let us know if we had any questions. At noon, they even took us to the restaurant and told us we could contact them if we had any problems at the attractions that afternoon. They were so kind! Because of the number of people, we changed rooms. The room was clean and tidy, with plenty of sunlight. The owner's noodles were delicious; I especially loved the texture of the eggs—I couldn't get enough! Every day I had a big bowl with side dishes, and I felt so satisfied before going out to play! The guesthouse also paid great attention to detail; the spotlights at the bottom of the stairs were sensor-activated, so the elderly wouldn't have trouble seeing the stairs. The mirror-like terraced fields are beautiful now, but you have to go early; once the sunlight is too strong, they're not as stunning. I'll definitely come back in the fall!

We stayed for just one night for a sunrise over the rice terrace. From the moment we arrived - all the staff made us feel extremely welcomed. The butler took our very heavy luggage up all the stairs to the room we were staying in. Room service is via WeChat and is super convenient. Also, make sure you add the staff in WeChat before you checkin so they can be ready to carry your luggage up. In my opinion the selling point of this homestay is its view - you can literally see the sunrise outside of your room without having to go to the public view points. However if you are a photographer and wanting to take proper photos I suggest you go to the viewpoints. In saying that, this place is only a few meters from one of the most popular view points. Facilities in the room are mostly smart tech and very cool to use! If I come back to Yunhai rice Terrace, I will definitely come back here to airark.

Very nice hostel with very friendly host. The room was very large and clean, with everything you need. Breakfast in the morning is very good and filling. The hostel is less than 10min walk from the tourist centre and there is a direct shuttle to and from Lishui station (takes about 1h) which made it very convenient. From the tourist centre there is also a bus that takes you to the main sights and back. The host helpfully explained what route to take including how to walk up through the village to the viewing platform instead of taking the cable car. Even though the tourist centre is very close, the host took me to and from there each time. I also appreciated his willingness to share his stories with me, I enjoyed learning more about his businesses and background.

I booked this home stay the night before just looking for somewhere to stay in the area. To say it was nice is an understatement, the service and hospitality I received here was nothing short of a home love, I wished I didn’t have to leave. The owner was very generous and kind and the room was even better than the pictures. They had an intern who went beyond to make me comfortable, she took me to restaurants and took photos of me in the town and constantly on hand if I needed anything. Could not recommend enough!!

The room was overpriced at 65 USD for a simple stay, though this could be due to the Chinese holidays and high demand. Realistically, such a place shouldn’t cost more than 20 USD. On the positive side, the hotel is newly renovated. The room looks good, the toilets are new (though not fully functional), and the showers were fine. However, I had to request towels, as they weren’t provided by default. Breakfast was decent, and the staff are clearly trying their best to be helpful and provide good service. That said, the place overall needs better maintenance, and the elevator should definitely be upgraded—it currently stops at every floor, which is inconvenient.

I wouldn't recommend for foreigners who doesn't speak chinese. I think that's why the owners never even talked to me... It's my taxi driver that showed me my room. I was a bit disappointed by the location : the hotel is really close to telecabins to go see the terraces but unfortunately those ones were not opened before sunrise, so great location if you don't want the sunrise view but wouldn't recommend otherwise... The room is clean but the bed a bit hard.

這次民宿入住真的太治癒了！一開窗就是絕美的風景，遠山、綠意和清新空氣撲面而來，視野開闊又舒心，待在房間裏發呆都覺得愜意，也是觀日出雲海的好角度。 民宿的主理人是兩個年輕小夥，房間設計的很有格調，佈置温馨，乾淨整潔，床品柔軟舒服，一夜好眠。小夥熱情周到，感覺像回家一樣放鬆，且貼心又不打擾，細節裏全是用心。有很大的燒烤露營營地，購買當地的食材嚐嚐鮮，絕美。屋後就有菜園、水塘，一羣鴨一羣鵝……可以想象一下此情此景。 在民宿裏還可以欣賞主理人小夥的攝影作品，喜歡攝影的朋友和他聊聊天，探討當地的風土人情，會有意外的收穫。 推開窗是畫，關上門是家，被風景和熱情包圍的感覺太美好，下次一定還會再來，強烈推薦！
