Review of Onna Resort, Okinawa About me: I’m a frequent flyer to Japan and a long-time fan of staying at villas and resorts across the country. I enjoy discovering different accommodations across Japan. This time, I chose Onna Resort for a relaxing group trip. ⸻ 👍 What I liked: • Spacious resort– Very roomy and comfortable, easily fits 7–8 people. Perfect for families or groups of friends. • Clean and well-maintained – The entire resort was spotless and felt well cared for. • View exactly as shown in photos – Stunning ocean view that matches the listing. Great for enjoying sunrise and sunset. • Beach nearby – A beach is within walking distance. While it may not be the best in Okinawa, it’s still nice for a stroll or quick swim. • Washer and dryer setup – Includes both a washer-dryer combo and a separate dryer, which is especially handy for drying towels and clothes after swimming. • Well-equipped kitchen – Good selection of cookware and appliances for preparing meals. • Private and quiet surroundings – Peaceful setting with no disturbance from other guests. ⸻ 👎 What could be improved: • Inconsistent check-in information – The email offered early check-in, and a staff member via video call said I could check in at 2pm. But when I arrived, another staff said it was 3pm. This communication gap should be addressed. • Missing basic items – No cups or glasses were provided, obviously an oversight by the cleaning staff. • Limited towel supply – Towels are provided strictly based on headcount. Given the proximity to the beach, it would be more convenient to offer a few extra towels without needing to ask. • Limited Coffee Supply - The resort provides coffee bags based on headcount as well, which was insufficient for guests who consume two or three cups daily. A more generous and considerate coffee supply would enhance the experience. • Insufficient tableware – Only two large plates were provided. It would be more practical to include additional small dishes, rice bowls, and condiment plates (e.g. for soy sauce or wasabi), especially for guests who plan to cook. • Lack of basic cooking ingredients – It would be helpful if staple items like cooking oil, salt, and pepper were provided to make meal preparation more convenient. • No power outlets near beds – Most sockets were located low on the wall and away from sleeping areas, making it inconvenient to charge phones or devices overnight. • Weak Wi-Fi signal in places – Internet connection was spotty in some areas of the villa, although it offers several wifi spots within the resort, but still weak

整體環境還可以，屬於安靜型度假酒店。 酒店有些年份了，但維護得還不錯，公共區域和房間狀態都在可接受範圍內。 這裏本質上是高爾夫度假酒店，整體氛圍和客人結構都圍繞高爾夫展開，如果對高爾夫感興趣，可以順便來打球。 用餐基本都在酒店內解決，周邊幾乎沒有商業，不太適合想頻繁外出或逛街的行程。 整體節奏偏慢、偏封閉，更適合安靜度假或打球。

Very clean and tidy house, there is everything you need both kitchen utensils and laundry. Easy to access, smooth CHK in and CHK out. Definitely come here again if we have a chance.

The hotel is a sprawling entity in a fairly remote part of island. Golf courses are located between blocks of rooms so most guests go around in golf carts. The beach is ok for sunbathing but it's not a swimming beach as it's rocky. The swimming pools and beach areas are closed till end of March. Fitness room is open. There's an indoor pool but it's not free for hotel guests. No free parking too. The room is huge and has a good sea view and there is a private whirlpool on the balcony. Breakfast is a delicious mix of western and Japanese food. There are 3 restaurants to choose from.

Nice and clean and a cheap washing machine + dryer, but very thin walls, so if you get unlucky with loud neighbours it's gonna be hard to sleep.

Zalety: Hotel posiada bezpłatny parking, każda osoba może wybrać darmowego drinka powitalnego lub lody, obsługa recepcji jest entuzjastyczna i uprzejma, w pobliżu znajdują się całodobowe restauracje typu fast food i sklepy ogólnospożywcze. Wady: Na korytarzach i w pokojach unosi się dziwny zapach. Mimo że na korytarzu znajdują się oczyszczacze powietrza, za każdym razem, gdy wchodzę na korytarz, czuję silny zapach stęchlizny. W pomieszczeniu występuje również specyficzny zapach, ale gdy klimatyzator i oczyszczacz powietrza działają przez pewien czas, specyficzny zapach zostanie zmniejszony.

The location is great in Nago, staff is friendly and excellent value for money. two minor complaints: (1)the 24/7 venting in the bathroom is a bit noisy, if you are super sensitive about noise during sleep, might be an issue;(2)I don’t really expect to pay parking fee anywhere in Nago, but this hotel will charge guest parking fee

It’s more of a apartment than a hotel, so don’t expect room service. The reception has only one person, an old man that is probably the owner, you need to call when you arrive, but he is usually at the back of the entrance. It has a lot of cats around, but don’t feed, someone else is taking care of them

Ten hotel to prawdziwy kurort jak żaden inny! Od chwili wejścia do lobby można poczuć jego luksus i wygodę. Każdy szczegół został starannie zaprojektowany, aby ludzie czuli się bardziej wyróżnieni. Pokoje są przestronne i jasne, a łóżka są miękkie i wygodne, co pozwala na spokojny sen. Personel obsługi jest przyjazny i profesjonalny i gotowy zapewnić Państwu najlepszą obsługę. Niezależnie od tego, czy będą to pyszne posiłki, wspaniałe udogodnienia czy wspaniałe widoki, ten pobyt będzie niezapomnianym wspomnieniem.
