We had a truly wonderful stay at the Golden Temple Retreat in Siem Reap. From the moment we arrived, we were pampered with warm smiles, a fragrant welcome tea, and jasmine-scented cold towels that seemed to appear magically just when we needed them. The airport pick-up was seamless, and our driver Noy was punctual, kind, and professional. We took a two-day guided tour of the Angkor temples with the knowledgeable and passionate Mr. Chong, who not only walked us through the incredible history but also showed us hidden corners we never would have found on our own. One of the highlights was a magical sunset aperitif aboard a traditional Cambodian gondola, where Mr. Van and the cheerful Captain Runn surprised us by mixing a perfect Negroni right there on the water. The next day, they treated us to a private Khmer-style lunch, beautifully prepared by a dedicated chef just for us. The retreat itself is breathtaking — the pool is a true oasis, and the in-room bathtub was the cherry on top of a perfect stay. Every detail was flawless. We highly recommend this hotel and would love to return someday

I stayed at Khmer Mansion recently, and the entire experience from check-in to check-out was smooth and hassle-free. Their customer service is honestly the strongest part of the hotel—the staff communicate clearly in English, understand what you need without overcomplicating things, and check on you regularly in a genuinely helpful way. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained. Room service food was consistently good, and they deliver fast. Now the honest bits: The room Wi-Fi needs to be fixed. It’s weak and inconsistent—not great if you rely on connectivity. After four days, the food options felt repetitive. Not a dealbreaker, but something they can definitely improve. Location-wise, this hotel is ridiculously convenient—walking distance to Old Market, Night Market, Pub Street, spas, and even the circus. Despite the minor issues, I would stay here again mainly because of the staff and the location. They genuinely make the experience worthwhile. Final rating: 4.75/5

Erye przywiózł wiele szafek o wystarczającej pojemności, a także platformę na rzeczy osobiste Obok łóżka znajduje się mała platforma do przechowywania drobiazgów Wszystko jest idealne, poza tym, że nie ma kołdry, tylko koc. Obudziłem się w nocy z zimna, bo w domu jest klimatyzacja centralna, a klimatyzacja jest za mocna.

One of the best hotel I’ve ever been to. Tasty breakfasts, great service, big rooms. Also very nice design of room and hotel’s territory as well. If I come back to Siemreap again I will definitely chose this hotel. Also the staff helped me to book all activities.

Jakość hoteli w ramach Grupy Golden Temple jest bardzo dobra.Wioska Golden Temple jest w remoncie, co zaprowadziło nas do hotelu Golden Temple.Posiada kompleksowe usługi, takie jak wymiana małych nominałów dolarów amerykańskich, pożyczanie parasoli i doładowanie telefonu rachunki. Jest bezpłatny autobus dowożący i wysiadający. dali nam również bezpłatny pokój wypoczynkowy na 2 godziny w noc przed wyjazdem. To było warte ceny ponad 200 za noc, a my zarezerwujemy to jeszcze raz 😊

Pobyt w The Calm Oasis był naprawdę przyjemny. Pokój był czysty i wygodny, a ogólna atmosfera sprzyjała relaksowi. Lokalizacja jest w porządku – cicha i spokojna – ale trochę przeciętna, jeśli potrzebujesz szybkiego dostępu do pobliskich miejsc. Poza tym miejsca parkingowe są bardzo małe i ograniczone. Najbardziej utkwiła mi w pamięci obsługa. Personel był uprzejmy, przyjazny i bardzo dobrze reagował na moje prośby. Wielkie podziękowania dla zespołu obsługi gości za pomoc przez cały mój pobyt. Udogodnienia również były doskonałe – wszystko działało bez zarzutu i sprawiło, że pobyt był naprawdę przyjemny. Ogólnie rzecz biorąc, świetne miejsce dla rodzin szukających spokojnego wypoczynku. Zdecydowanie rozważyłbym ponowny pobyt!

The staff was polite, the reception staff and the team were very friendly, and the cleaning staff was also very helpful. I am very happy with my stay at this hotel and will definitely come back.

Sala Siem is very attractive hotel to stay. Right Infront of the Angkor Museum. Location is good to reach everywhere via TukTuks for maybe 1$. Service and team are great 😊 So thanks Na Na & Yanpaing. Especially Na Na informed us about everything wisely. We got Khmer Massage service and that was amazing, right near the pool and bird sounds. Thank you Sala Siem Reap Hotel for everything 🙏🫶💕

4-Star Luxury Hotel for the Backpacker Price of $40/night! The first thing you notice about Sokha Palace Siem Reap Hotel is just how pretty it is! The architect, painters, decorators and maintenance staff did a fabulous job (see my photos). The second thing you notice is how delicious the huge buffet is – including free espresso drinks. Third, you notice that the rooms are not only nice but that everything works well (aircon, hot water showers, refrigerator, wifi, and cable TV with news channels from a half dozen countries like CNN). Fourth, it is in a quiet location less than 15 minutes from Angkor Wat, and only a $2 tuktuk ride to Pub Street or anywhere else in Siem Reap. But then you notice the best part: the outstanding hotel staff. For example, the Front Desk Manager Phyrun personally helped me when I could not make my room keycard work, and even brought me a bucket of ice. Originally I booked five nights during Chinese New Year with Trip.com discounts for $39/night, but he gave me a free upgrade from a garden view double with king bed to a pool view room. I liked it so much I wanted to extend, but the best I could find online was $41/night garden view, $51 for pool view. I asked Phyrun if I could get the upgrade again if I bought the $41 online, and he said no – but he smiled and said he would give it to me for $40/night the Khmer rate instead (normally $50 for barangs like me)! The restaurant had other examples of great staff. Some days the restaurant is overflowing with several hundred guests, other days only a few dozen. Yet they maintain the quality and personal touch from the egg and soup station, to the bountiful buffet, to the waiters and waitresses that clear the tables. The Restaurant Manager Somedy and his Assistant Manager Chhaiya keep it all flowing smoothly. Even on the busiest day, waitress Chanthla took the time to show my Khmer friend’s elderly stepmom the way they fold the napkins. Today the espresso machine was not working for a while, so Chhaiya offered to have a waiter drive over to the sister hotel to bring me lattes. I repeatedly declined, but was very impressed by the excellent customer service attitude. So the real beauty of this French chateau style hotel is its employees, including very efficient housekeeping and grounds staff. I checked out the “5-Star” Sokha Resort on the other side of its convention center, but did not like it half as much (especially for 70% more per night). Normally I would be afraid to write a review of a hotel that I like so much, but with 456 rooms I don’t have to worry about it being full. Do yourself a favor and stay here when in Siem Reap.

The room was exactly as show on the photos; spacious clean and bright. I could order breakfast to my room which was great. The first day breakfast was 15 minutes late, but luckily I wasn’t heading for the airport or anything. At the time of my stay there were offering 2 choices for breakfast, which were both delicious. The room came fully stocked with snacks as well as al pullover and Jon alcoholic drinks for cheap. Everything was around a dollar to a dollar twenty five. There is no elevator at this hotel. I was on the third floor and only had a carry-on luggage. Staff were pleasant and answered questions patiently.
