da_helle_hoidThe room was okay in terms of cleanliness. However, upon arrival, I was greeted by a trail of ants running through the room. This was easily remedied with a little mosquito repellent spray on the doors; they apparently didn't want to come in through the huge gap.
Unfortunately, the location is disastrous for light sleepers, as the local mosque is only about 50 meters away as the crow flies, and you are woken up loudly by the imam every single day between 5 and 5:30 a.m. To make matters worse, I had the misfortune of being placed on the second floor of the building facing the mosque, which amplified the noise level considerably, as there was virtually no soundproofing.
For solo travelers, it's worth noting that getting from the Village to Long Beach (where there's a bit more going on) is extremely complicated, as you always have to pay for two people when traveling solo. So you have to constantly ask around to see if you can hop on an already full boat.
The so-called ”boardwalk” to Long Beach has deteriorated into an extremely difficult-to-walk and overgrown 45-minute ”jungle walk” due to years of extreme weather and neglect by the residents. It's also not without its dangers, especially without proper footwear or in the dark.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
All in all, it's better to book accommodation directly on Long Beach until significant improvements are made in all areas.

haomaihaomaiBecause I wanted to take the first class on the island at 8 o'clock in the morning, I chose to live near the pier. I saw that the reviews of several hotels near the pier were not good. I saw that the garden of this hotel had a good environment and the hotel was a little far from the pier. Definitely good hotel, I received the mail from the hotel, there are various services and quotations, so I immediately responded to the need to pick up the hotel to Kota Bharu airport, 70 MYR. Because the flight time on the same day is after 9:00 pm, and the hotel is in the port of Beshang, it takes 1 hour from the airport. Looking at the previous guest evaluation, I said that I have confirmed the pick-up but did not come. I am worried that the other party will not pick up the plane. Before the day of departure, WeChat contacted Ctrip customer service, met a customer service brother, really really, help me to confirm with the hotel again and again to pick up the plane. Sure enough, after arriving at Kota Bharu Airport, the hotel’s slightly fat Malay brother took my name to pick up the plane, and was very touched. If he doesn't come, the big night, the airport may not find a taxi that is willing to go so far to the pier, safety is also a problem. The little brother picking up the plane along the way also talked to me constantly, and also introduced other services, such as the shuttle bus service. The street lights at night are not too bright. I have never seen other vehicles on the road. It is also because it is a remote area. Close to Thailand, most of the residents are said to be Muslims. They really went home early in the evening and prayed. There was almost no street. people. When I arrived at the hotel, it was dark. I originally thought of paying for the place where there was a light, but I was lazy and paid for it in a dim. I accidentally treated 20 as 10 MYR and gave him 10 dollars because 10 And 20 pieces are all yellow, and I didn't look at the digital light to see the color. I didn’t find it at the time, but I realized it when I reconciled myself. The hotel is close to the main road. It is really like a photo. The large pink bamboo flowers are blooming, and the birds are singing and barking. Here, as imagined, it is the rural guest house, facilities and sanitation do not expect, there are mosquito ants, no hot water and showers and toothbrush electric kettle, anyway, in order to get to the island early the next day, it will make a night. Hotel service attitude is good, have a smile, but also chat with me. The next morning I watched my selfie, and the waiter took the initiative to help me take pictures. Because I bought the hotel on the second day of the round-trip ticket at the hotel, the hotel sent a car from the hotel for 10 minutes to send me to the pier for free. I also bought a check-in ticket from the Besut Jetty to Kota Bharu. I plan to do bus 6 MYR, but I don’t think it is expensive for MYR 30. I want to save time and save time to buy a CMB ticket.
