Ten hotel jest świetny, a śniadanie było bardzo obfite i smaczne. Posiada parking, a tuż za rogiem jest supermarket z dużym wyborem produktów. Zdecydowanie polecam! Podczas naszej podróży służbowej po Europie, ten hotel oferował najlepszy stosunek jakości do ceny. Dzięki temu, że wynajęliśmy samochód, dojazdy były bardzo wygodne.

A beautiful room but experienced a number of disappointments. Hotel guests must pay a supplement daily charge to use the swimming pools AND book at designated time slot. I have NEVER experienced this at any hotel anywhere in the world. I was in a premium room, but this policy applies to all guests, which I think is awful. It was also impossible to get a spa appointment during my stay. Zero preference given to hotel guests. I strongly suggest you book spa treatments at least a week in advance of your arrival. Also, there is no turndown service, unusual for a highly priced 5* hotel. Housekeeping also finishes very early, or isn’t interested in guests who don’t align with their schedule. I had to work in my room but left at 2:45pm and it was not cleaned despite signalling the room needed making up. The reception team were polite, but chaotic. Generally, the hotel restaurants seem more focused on catering to outside guests, which is a shame.

great boutique hotel! only unfortunate thing is that the breakfast only opens at 8am on weekends so we missed it due to an early flight, but they made up for it with a breakfast to-go when we checked out!

Excellent location, just walk out from Oslo station and you can see the hotel and have access to the hotel’s level 2 directly. Easy access to airport. Arrived late at night. Check in process was efficient. Staff was polite and offered me a free bottled mineral water which was a kind gesture as the waters/drinks in mini fridge are chargeable. Small compact room but sufficient. Kettle and steam iron available in the room which are very useful. The room is too cold for me though, I think it is around 20-21degC, I tried to adjust temperature to be warmer to 24degC but it was not possible. The restaurant staff are polite and friendly especially the staff at restaurant reception. Good breakfast, plenty of choices, particularly I like the fresh juice/smoothies. Overall a comfortable stay and recommended.

Hotel położony jest 5-6 minut spokojnego spaceru od dworca kolejowego - tuż przy morzu. Ma małe lobby, ale mogliśmy też skorzystać ze stolików w restauracji, popijając przez cały dzień bezpłatną kawę lub herbatę. Oferuje również lekką kolację wliczoną w cenę i był to jeden z powodów, dla których ją wybrałem. Kolacja obejmuje bufet kilku sałatek i znakomitych dressingów, a także codzienną zupę, posiłek i świeżo wypiekany chleb. Śniadanie było bardzo smaczne, pięknie udekorowane na małym stoliku - w tym różnorodne opcje na każdy gust, natychmiast uzupełniane po opróżnieniu. Wszystko, co było oferowane, było wysokiej jakości. Do dyspozycji Gości jest także bezpłatna siłownia i sauna. Pokój nie jest duży, ale wystarczający. Ładna dekoracja. Nie za duże łóżka w pokoju dwuosobowym. Toaleta jest dość malutka, z inteligentną kabiną prysznicową. Ładne, ogromne okna ze słońcem przez cały dzień. Co zaskakujące - nie było lodówki. Telewizor miał tylko kilka kanałów krajowych. Wszyscy pracownicy są bardzo uprzejmi i pomocni. Dostałem pokój natychmiast po przyjeździe - kilka godzin przed oficjalnym czasem zameldowania. Wymeldowanie jest naprawdę w porządku - ustawione na południe. Jest bardzo mała, ale bezpłatna przechowalnia bagażu. Wreszcie - dostałem za to bardzo dobrą cenę na Trip.com w porównaniu do innych dostawców.

I stayed in the Junior Suite at Scandic Byporten and had an excellent experience. The location is perfect — directly connected to Oslo Central Station, which makes traveling around the city and to the airport incredibly convenient. The suite was spacious, modern, and very comfortable. I especially appreciated the large windows with great city views and the cozy seating area, which made the room feel more like a small apartment than a hotel. Everything was spotless and well-maintained. The staff were professional, welcoming, and efficient. Breakfast was another highlight — a wide variety of fresh and tasty options, including local specialties. Overall, my stay was smooth and relaxing. The Junior Suite is definitely worth it if you want extra comfort and space in the heart of Oslo. Highly recommended!

Simple hotel, yet clean. Staff are very helpful. Location is easy walk from the train station through the shopping mall, but it is not exactly near the center of attractions. Breakfast is simple but very nice (really love their croissants). Appreciate the breakfast pack given by the hotel for us also; since our train to Bergen is very early in the morning 🙂

For our stay, we booked a studio apartment at The Sweet. The room was lovely and kitchenette was well-equipped. We were able to cook meals there over the days of Christmas when most restaurants and shops were closed. The location is a little outside of the center- nice and quiet but easy to access public transit. My biggest issue with this hotel was that communication was very… odd. As the booking notes, I called the hotel in advance to schedule my check-in. When my call was answered, I told them who I was and that I was calling to schedule my check in (for a time when the booking said check in is available). I was told no one would be at reception at that time (3pm on Dec 23) and they would text me instructions for how to check myself in. Then she confirmed my phone number and asked for my email address, but when I started to give it, she said, “oh, that’s ok. We can’t use email anyway”. Odd. Before getting off the phone, I had her confirm that I would receive a text the next day with instructions to check in. Our train arrived around 2pm in Oslo and we still hadn’t received a text, so we waited at the train station thinking perhaps they would send the text right at 3pm since that was the time I had requested. At 3, I still hadn’t received anything, so we called the hotel again. A different employee answered from the one I had spoken to the day before. I gave my name and explained that I was calling because I had scheduled check in the day before but hadn’t received the information to check in. The employee asked where I was and told me that there were people staffing reception to help us check in, which I thought was odd because the previous employee told me no one would be there. When we got to the hotel, we rang the bell and got into the building, but reception is apparently in the basement- there is only a very tiny sign that says this- so we missed it and I called them again. A man came up with our keys and got us set to go. We got into our room and it was lovely! About 5 hours later, I got a call from Trip saying that the hotel is trying to contact me because they are wondering why I hadn’t checked in and they don’t have a way to get in touch with me. I was sitting in the hotel room when I got this call. I told the Trip representative that I was checked in and it was fine for her to give my phone and email to the hotel. I know the communication elements have taken up a huge portion of my review and I know they are not the end of the world, but I want to share them because I believe it would be quite simple to avoid situations like this in the future and make the guest experience that much more pleasant at The Sweet. We greatly enjoyed our stay at the hotel overall and thoroughly enjoyed exploring Oslo!

Naprawdę jeden z najlepszych pobytów w hotelu, jakie kiedykolwiek doświadczyłem. Personel hotelu dołożył wszelkich starań, aby zapewnić nam dobre zakwaterowanie i wygodę przez cały czas. Kiedy dotarliśmy do hotelu, była 11:00, więc wspomniałem personelowi recepcji, że wiem, że jest dla nas o wiele za wcześnie na otrzymanie pokoju (zameldowanie odbywa się zazwyczaj o 15:00) i że chcielibyśmy po prostu zostawić nasz pokój torby. Bez żadnych specjalnych życzeń personel recepcji natychmiast przygotował dla nas klucze do pokoju, abyśmy mogli od razu się zameldować, co było niezwykle mile widziane, ponieważ złapaliśmy lot bardzo wcześnie rano. Pokój bardzo nam się podobał. Było bardzo wygodnie dla nas trzech, chociaż trochę ciasno, ale tego właśnie oczekiwaliśmy po pokojach hotelowych w Europie. Łazienka była dobrze wyposażona i zawierała wszystkie niezbędne przybory toaletowe (szampon, żel do mycia ciała, mydło do rąk), jednak mieliśmy nadzieję, że będzie też balsam do ciała, więc zapytaliśmy obsługę sprzątającą, czy jakiś jest dostępny, i natychmiast przynieśli 3 DUŻE butelki na każdą z nich nam używać. Nigdy wcześniej nie widziałem w żadnym hotelu tak ogromnych kosmetyków w tak dużych ilościach, co ponownie sprawiło, że czuliśmy się bardzo dobrze zaopiekowani. Wreszcie w dniu wymeldowania nasz lot odbył się dopiero o 18:00, a ponieważ wymeldowanie odbywa się zazwyczaj o 11:00, poprosiłem o przedłużenie tylko o 1 godzinę. Chociaż byli bardzo zajęci, ponieważ był to początek wakacji, bez wahania personel recepcji przedłużył czas wymeldowania do 15:00. Po raz kolejny byłem bardzo miło zaskoczony i pełen uznania. Moja ostatnia uwaga dotyczy bezpłatnej kawy i herbaty, zawsze dostępnych w holu, a także wspaniałego śniadania w formie bufetu, które serwowali. Nie mogę wystarczająco polecić tego hotelu!

Należy go przesiąść do metra z głównego dworca kolejowego w Oslo, do którego zajmuje około dwóch lub trzech przystanków. Pokój znajduje się w metrze Toyun, które jest oddalone o cztery minuty spacerem i jest bardzo wygodne. W pobliżu metra znajduje się supermarket i restauracja o godzinie 7-23. Chodzi o to, że w pokoju znajduje się kuchnia. Nasza trójka ma dwa pokoje. Czujemy, że jest tu ciepło i wygodnie jak w domu. Po wymeldowaniu należy zdjąć pościel i wystawić ją do punktu zbiórki, a śmieci wystawić pod drzwi, wyczyścić zużytą zastawę stołową. oraz kaucja w wysokości 2000 zostanie zwrócona. Uwielbialiśmy to mieszkanie.
