The location is pin off from the trip location. About 200m away. There is 2 of the same hotel name. So don’t go to the wrong one. The bed is abit hard but still can stay. There is water dispenser in the room. So will keep you hydrated

What an extraordinary hotel. It was converted into a hotel from a 400 year old workshop. The hotel is a combination of old world charm and modern facilities. Really impressive with the service provided by the owners. You just need to arrange with them to pick you up and sending off to the train station for free. Will definitely stay in this beautiful place when visiting Pingyao Ancient City.

This place was amazing! Easy check in, and the hosts were incredible. The guesthouse is very cute, and the rooms are immaculate. I would highly recommend staying here! The location, inside of the old town, was very convenient.

Fantastic ancient Chinese lodging with modern amenities. You get the chance to sleep on a Luohan bed. The room is a suite! Within Pingyao walled city, it was easy to go to visit the sites. The lady owner gave me a map. Even though I speak no Chinese and they speak no English, we were able to communicate using a translator app. She recommended a restaurant when I asked. They made the u**ost effort to make your stay enjoyable. The owner took me to the railway station when I left. P.S. Best to download MAPS.ME as it will work offline. Google Maps does not work in China. The taxi will drop you outside the city wall and you can ride the shuttle to the hotel. Make sure you got the Chinese address. Also same possible, install the Wechat app as it is used widely in China - you text in English they translate to Chinese and vice versa.

We had initially booked a smaller room but was upgraded free of charge to a beautiful traditional style room. The room had everything including heated floors which was great as it was very cold in Pingyao during our stay. The hotel staff was very helpful with everything and even drove us to the train station the day we left. I absolutely reccommend this beautiful hotel and would love to come back here some day!

Great place in Pingyao. It is reasonably priced, a bit out of the very center (meaning also out of tourists crowds that can be quite noisy in the evenings and mornings), but still close, has same old-style design as the more popular and well-established places that cater to foreigners, but priced twice as much. Pick-up and drop off service is provided - just contact the hotel in advance via phone using the reception of tour previous hotel - no one speaks English - it will solve your communication issue if you do not speak Chinese. At the place itself everyone is very eager to help - use your phone app to translate. Onwer helped me to buy tickets to Pingyao attractions and Terracota Army as I was heading to Xian next (available only through WeChat Pay that is in turn is not availablefor foreign tourists as of April 2023). If you go to Shuanglin temple, be sure to ask to buy tickets through WeChat for you as well. I was able to buy physical one by pure compassion of local guard who asked the staff to open ticket office just for me (Probably was the only foreigner in Pingyao at a time). Please also note that as of April 2023, the reconstruction works in the historical city parts are continuing, so, large chunks of the city within the walls are not looking as great as it could have been. The very center of the city is mostly untouched though and you can still come and explore. If going in spring, be prepared for the temperature swings. I got a temperature drop from 28C to 3C within 2 days by the moment I got to Pingyao. It was even snowing at night.

I had a great stay and the staff went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and all my needs were met! The staff is very friendly and helpful! Would highly recommend

酒店地處古城內部，比鄰繁華的南大街，鬧中取靜。服務非常好，貼心周到，車接車送，還幫助提供付費停車場🅿️，一晚 20 元，很划算。出門逛街方便，晚上回來住安靜舒適，古樸典雅。值得推薦。

臨時訂的這家，淡季老闆直接給升級了最好的房間，大方！地理位置絕佳，鬧中取靜。可以步行到東門和南大街，很方便。服務也很好，幫忙訂票訂車，接送至城門，最後走的時候還送了兩瓶醋。 就是大床房的鎖如果換成更方便安全的鎖會好點，還有屋裡可以配個熱水壺，雖然牆上有熱水器，有壺多個選擇。 總體住得很舒服，性價比很高的民宿。推薦。
