Hotele w: Inside Pingyao Ancient City, Pingyao

We had a pleasant stay at the Jinxuan Hotel. The architecture of the beautiful is really beautiful. The beds were comfy and the breakfast nice and filling. The pickup service from the train station was quite convenient.

If you want a more authentic experience than staying in a fancy hotel, this is your place. Mrs Liu (sp?) was so lovely and helpful. She speaks a bit of English and is very fast on the translation apps for what she doesn’t know. She gave us a map of the Ancient City and explained where we should visit. Every day she gave us water bottles. We stayed 2 nights. You can experience a kang bed here, in a cozy room in a quaint courtyard. It was quite firm but still comfortable. There is air con which was needed when we were there. The bathroom is small but we found that everything didn’t get wet, despite the small size of the room. The inn is on the “taxi-bus” route just off South Street. As it is a block from the Main Street it is significantly quieter as the honking of “taxi-buses” doesn’t happen as much in the alleyways. Just be careful to walk on the sides of the road as the mopeds and taxi-buses are electric so quiet, except for the honking which is loud and constant, and they drive quite fast for the size and busyness of the streets. There is plenty of food places just a short walk away from the hotel. The ancient city was a lot more touristy than we had expected. You need to prearrange with the innkeeper to organise a “taxi-bus” to pick you up from the South Gate. Regular cars are not allowed inside the city wall. We were dropped by the DiDi but it is too far and busy to walk with luggage to the inn. Mrs Liu and her husband helped us out with their mopeds. Not many “taxi-bus” drivers know the inn as it is a smaller private hotel, so make sure you have the address printed out to show them. The taxi-bus is 10RMB pp per ride and you can flag them down anywhere on the streets they are allowed on, but they may not want to go where you want to go, so just flag another one until you get one that agrees. You scan the drivers QR code to pay. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Pingyao Yunshu Inn.

Zatrzymaliśmy się w zabytkowym budynku. Po wizycie w posiadłości rodziny Wang w ciągu dnia, wieczorem zameldowaliśmy się w Qigongguan, czując się jak zamożna rodzina. 【Parking】 Przyjechaliśmy samochodem. Właściciel wysłał nam lokalizację parkingu poza starym miastem, a następnie odebrał nas pojazdem. 【Zameldowanie】 Właściciel uprzejmie narysował mapę i opowiedział nam o głównych atrakcjach i trasach w Pingyao. 【Udogodnienia】 Cała atmosfera dziedzińca była wspaniała, zwłaszcza wieczorem. Przy ćmianym świetle czerwonych lampionów czuliśmy się, jakbyśmy przenieśli się w czasie do późnej dynastii Qing i wczesnej Republiki. Gdyby nie było tak zimno, na pewno siedzielibyśmy na zewnątrz, pijąc wino i rozmawiając. Jednak zabytkowe budynki mają swoje wady – dodanie nowoczesnych udogodnień z pewnością nie zapewni takiego samego komfortu. Klimatyzacja była ustawiona na 30 stopni, a mimo to przez całą noc było nam zimno. Prysznic miał słaby strumień wody, a kilka strużek zimnej wody przeciekało, więc jednocześnie braliśmy gorący prysznic i czuliśmy zimne krople na ciele. Zgłosiliśmy ten problem właścicielowi, mając nadzieję, że zostanie szybko naprawiony.

Elsewhere Xianya hotel really exceeded our expectations. The room was clean, quiet and equipped with all kind of amenities, the bed was super big and comfortable. The reception girls were the loveliest and gave us many recommendations and discount tickets for restaurants. On our departure day they even gave us a gift. I would recommend anyone staying here!

The accommodation is absolutely beautiful, with very nice details. They also left us some sweets and tea as a welcome gift, and every day they gave us a large bottle of water. The only thing I didn’t like is that during the day people come to take photos at the property, and there is quite a lot of noise until almost 10pm. Sometimes it can be annoying to hear people taking photos right outside your room. Apart from that, the accommodation is great.

Location: Located in the heart of Pingyao just a few minutes from many of the main attraction and the flag tower Hotel: Modern and clean rooms with Japanese toilet and a good bed. The ambiance of the hotel is also very nice designed around an old Qing dynasty courtyard Service: the hotel team picked me up and dropped me off at the high speed train station in Pingyao which worked flawlessly. In general the hotel team was very attentive and tried their best to solve any questions. Can definitely recommend as a foreigner to stay here

We had a fantastic stay here, largely thanks to the incredibly helpful and kind host. The hotel is housed in a 300-year-old building, giving you a beautiful, authentic experience of ancient China, but the interior is fully updated and very calm. Arrival and Service: The host is highly organized. They arranged a free shuttle to pick us up the moment we stepped out of the Pingyao Gucheng railway station, and provided a free drop-off when it was time to leave. Upon arrival, the host sat down with a map, clearly explained how to navigate the walled city, and gave us great advice on what to prioritize. The Room: It looks ancient from the outside, but it is a spacious, spotlessly clean, modern hotel room on the inside. It features a large flat-screen TV and a smart voice-control system for the lights. The bathroom was immaculate and entirely modern, complete with an excellent shower and a heated toilet seat. I cannot believe they provide a room of this quality for such an affordable price. It is truly worth it. Location & Breakfast: The hotel is in a very convenient spot inside the Pingyao city walls, just a 10-minute walk to the evening light show. Breakfast is included. Rather than a standard buffet, they serve a nice traditional set meal featuring millet porridge (xiaomi), fried vegetables, and eggs (see my uploaded pictures). I highly recommend this place if you want top-tier hospitality and a clean, comfortable blend of ancient atmosphere and modern convenience.

The environment is super good. It is a newly opened homestay. It is the first time I live in the ancient city. This stay is particularly satisfactory. The homestay and the pictures are basically the same. The room was cleaned very clean, the bedding was comfortable, the space was spacious, there was a small living room that was very spacious and the living environment was quiet. The boss responded promptly, treated people with special enthusiasm, and the high-speed rail station pick-up service was really good. I sent a bottle of home-brewed vinegar. It was really kind to live here. I patiently answered any questions. The overall price/performance ratio is online! Very cost-effective! ! I hope I don't forget my original intention.

Rzadko piszę recenzje, ale gorąco polecam ten zajazd! Zajazd znajduje się blisko północnej bramy starożytnego miasta Pingyao i dość blisko dziedzińca Majia. Istnieje możliwość odbioru z dworca. Wystarczy wcześniej zadzwonić do szefa i umówić się na godzinę przyjazdu na pierwszym piętrze. Jest duży i czysty. Na zewnątrz znajduje się mały dziedziniec. Obsługa szefa jest bardzo entuzjastyczna. Da ci mapę starożytnego miasta, opowie o ogólnych atrakcjach i trasach podróży, poleci pyszne restauracje i wręczy butelkę dojrzałego octu Shanxi (jeszcze tego nie próbowałem). . Xunmen, wysłał mnie tam nawet za darmo! ! !

Można śmiało powiedzieć, że to był jak dotąd najlepszy hotel w Chinach (a byłem w wielu miastach). Oferują bezpłatny odbiór z bramy miejskiej i z powrotem, skąd można łatwo dojechać taksówką na dworzec kolejowy (około 20 juanów). Hotel znajduje się w centrum starożytnego miasta, co dodatkowo potęguje jego wspaniałą atmosferę. Budynki hotelu są bardzo stare, ale w fantastycznym stanie (jakby wybudowane wczoraj). Już sam spacer do pokoju przez wiejski dziedziniec to niesamowite uczucie. Cały personel biegle władał językiem angielskim, był niezwykle gościnny i hojny. Sam pokój był bardzo przestronny i niesamowicie czysty. Wyposażony we wszystkie niezbędne udogodnienia, takie jak ogrzewanie i klimatyzacja, ekskluzywny router Wi-Fi. W łazience były dodatkowe buty, a nawet suszarka do włosów. Dostaliśmy świeże szczoteczki i pastę do zębów. Wanna również jest niesamowita, a deszczownica ma świetną temperaturę (co jest dla mnie ważne, ponieważ nie lubię bawić się mieszaczem wody). Jeśli planujesz pobyt w Pingyao (starożytnym mieście), mogę szczerze polecić to miejsce i na pewno zarezerwuję je ponownie podczas mojej następnej podróży do Pingyao.
