Sadly this was not for us and we found Kamezi really disappointing for myself, my husband and our teenager. We had booked directly after reading reviews and carefully considering our options on their website. We stayed in July which was quite expensive but we really thought it would be worth it. Unfortunately we had a number of maintenance issues with the villa which meant we had to report issues most days. Issues included no hot water for our showers in the evening, an insecure door allowing anyone to come through as the lock didn’t work and the door just swung open, the pool/terrace not being cleaned, and a constant drip from a leaking pipe outside our bedroom window. We were told our pool would be cleaned every three days but it wasn’t cleaned until day 5 and we were promised it would thereafter be cleaned everyday (due to this and other issues)…but it wasn’t cleaned on day 7 which was yet another call to customer service to accompany our other further issues. We didn’t need the pool cleaned everyday but it was meant to be a reassurance due to the numerous issues we’d been having and they couldn’t even follow through with that… I spoke to the Managing Director on day 4 who promised he’d get back to us in an hour…there was no sign of him but he did send Jillian to speak with us. Jillian is just lovely and a credit to Kamezi but I know there’s only so much she could do. We were gifted one drink each in the bistro as a means of apology which was nice. We also received a very minor refund which we’d have given up 100% to not have the issues we did It’s worth nothing there’s no air con in the villas. They kindly put fans in a couple of the rooms and my goodness, they were needed. I don’t understand why this isn’t an issue for others as the bedrooms especially were stifling with the July heat. Breakfast was enjoyable but a bit samey for the 9 nights we were there. Would’ve been nice to mix it up a bit perhaps adding yogurt, muesli or similar. The messaging service on the app wasn’t great - our first morning it took 2.5 hours for someone to get back to us. It wasn’t urgent but thought it might be a bit more efficient. We took pics of some wear and tear at the two bed Ocean villa we stayed in. This included a view to a lamppost which, albeit didn’t belong to Kamezi, was not pleasant to look at For the money we paid and the fancy website, we expected so much more. It had a beautiful setting / views and we loved Playa Blanca and will return, just not to Kamezi unfortunately.
