Botanika Osa Peninsula, Curio Collection by Hilton ★★★★

"Very nice resort with high quality equipment. Very nice are also the pool and the pool bar. Super we also found the fitness area. Very large and excellently equipped. We found it not so nice that there was little daylight in our room (standard room in the ground floor) and the restaurant. At breakfast and dinner were not all the options good. The staff at the restaurant was very overloaded at times of impact. Consequently, lack of coordination and long waiting times. However, they were always very friendly. We would always be asked proactively for allergies, but the answer (no wheat) to it was always ignored and not taken into account at any time. A frechness was the breakfast to go, when we had to go before breakfast: a untoasted flavorless toast bread and a apple for say and write 15 USD. That's not possible! What has disturbed us very much is the hotel's client, or at least part of it that is most negative: larger groups of Americans, for holidays is equal to a collective beauty. These groups were always very noisy at the pool and restaurant accordingly. That has made the relaxation partly impossible."

"Very friendly and helpful staff. They answered all our questions and went out of their way to help us. The room was very spacious. We really loved the large patio/deck area. We lounged out there while we read and watched the sunrise. We got an upgrade while we were there so we had to change rooms. They did all the moving. The first room was next to the communal gathering area for cooking or just hanging out. That part was annoying as there were a few times, one morning in particular at 4:30 AM, where a few people met up for their excursion and it sounded like a party. I don't know if there was a sign but there should be one to be quiet between 10 PM - 8 AM. We did notice that everyone around that area gets up really early. The bakery in town opens at 4:30 AM and it is bustling. The pool is too small to do any actual swimming. It's mainly for cooling of and lounging around. The view is wonderful as you watch the boat activity and the changing tide."

Corcovado Beach Lodge ★★

"What to say... Beau lieu le long de la baie et proche de l'embarcadere. Chambre simple, pas très propre mais spacieux. Le gros bâmol... le service. The reception is closed most of the time - the reception by the poor boss - no question, not even our name or program, no cleaning of the rooms. We stayed 3 nights, literally nobody for lunch the first morning, the second, we left very early for Corcovado, lunch arrived at 20:00. There would be a cost-cut and simply a minimum of attention for the clients."

"We were forced to reschedule our entire trip due to the rain alert in the country, and they changed the dates without any problems. Upon arrival, they gave us a room superior to the one we had booked. We especially appreciate the kindness and professionalism of Jean Carlos, who gave us directions, guided us along the (sometimes impassable) roads, and explained the culture and way of life of the region. The communal kitchen is perfectly equipped and very practical, given the limited restaurant options in the surrounding area."

"Jaka przyjemność, że powitamy ponownie właściciele Bosque del Cabo, Kim&Phil i super-przyjazny i kochający personel! Udogodnienia, atmosfera, żywność, usługa jest niewyobrażalna w każdym czasie, ślady przyrody i ogólna lokalizacja wysoko nad Cabo Matapalo są wyjątkowe! Tylko prosty spacer z kabiny głównego budynku jest doświadczenie, jakie obfitość piękna, dzikiego życia i spokoju. Przejście na plaży Pacyfiku jest zadziwiająca przygoda, potężny Ocean Pacyfiku spotkał luste tropikalne lasy deszczowe, niewiarygodne, kocham to miejsce!"

Maze Lodge ★★★

"Maze Lodge is absolutely mind blowing! Located in the middle of the jungle, it feels like entering another world. You can only see jungle and hear animal sounds. We stayed in Toucan Lodge and really enjoyed chilling at the terrace where we barbecued at night. The interior design is beautiful, the lodges are super clean and has everything you need. There are plenty of activities to do, like hiking the ‘river trail’ through the jungle to the river at the bottom of the trail. Or do zip-lining at their neighbor’s. I also enjoyed spending time on the platform at the top of the resort, overlooking the jungle - you can even see the Golfo Dulce! The pool area is amazing and we even saw monkeys in the trees very close by. In the morning I enjoyed working out at ‘jungle gym’ with the most breathtaking view. The owners and the caretaker are super lovely and welcoming. I had the most amazing time there and would recommend everyone going."

"Super nice hotel very clean and central, and cheap. Good air conditioning, warm and strong shower, comfortable beds. The family is very helpful and kind. The price is definitely very low for the quality of the room and of the service. It really feels like being at home. You can help yourself with tea, coffee and cacao."
