Nice, basic hotel in a great location. 3.0 star Western standard. Room was clean and spacious. Next door to a great shopping mall and walking distance to a beach and local attractions. Breakfast was fine for the price. Housekeeping is hit-and-miss starting in the afternoons. They forgot to restock our toothbrushes and water bottles more than once. We waited an hour for water one night and they completely skipped turndown service the next night. Probably a staffing issue. Otherwise, the stay was satisfactory and we would choose to stay there again.

Disadvantages: The floors are very short, there are only four floors in total, so you can't see the sea, and there are many mosquitoes. Because there is a construction site next to it, there is a lot of dust, and there is dust under the bed. At 8 or 9 o'clock in the evening, the front desk said that the waiters have all gone off work, and no one will clean up. They can only help clean up tomorrow. After our negotiation, we finally sent someone over with a broom, which swept the dust all over the house. Later, I got a mop, and I just mopped it twice and left. I had to use paper towels and wet water to wipe it clean little by little. During the process of mopping the floor, I also saw that there was a lot of dust in other places on the floor. Under the table and under the coffee table, they were not clean. In fact, everything else about this hotel is pretty good. I really hope it can improve on the hygiene aspect.

The room was comfortable and the provided hair and skin products were great. However there are no English channels to choose from and the bar at the top was under construction although we did not see any notices saying that it was closed. The main issue we have with this hotel is that they would not hold our luggage for more than 2 hours and we had to pay to have late checkout... which was a prorated price of the room. The hotel was empty and our train was not until the evening. The lobby is small and multiple times other guests would be sleeping on the couches. And the convenience store is locked and you have to scan using WeChat and enter in personal information to buy anything. And then you have to use the system to unlock the door so that you can get out... I stayed at this hotel last year and really liked it. But I plan to stay across the street from now on because the hotel service here was so poor and it seemed like they had never had foreign guest (they couldn't read the passport information or Chinese visa for whatever form they needed to complete). The hotel was much better last year.

The hotel is in a great location, close to a convenient bus stop and just a 10 minute drive to the seaside . The staff were very accommodating although most of them knew very little English. The breakfast staff were great and the breakfast selection offered a lot of vegetarian options, which you don’t find in many hotels. The room was a great size, just there aren’t any scenic views. The cleaning of the bedrooms could be a lot better as the room I had was very dust and the floor was not cleaned everyday.
