"Maison Jeroboam is a wonderful authentic place to form a base whilst exploring this region. Fantastic rooms and facilities with such a relaxing atmosphere made our stay magical. An educational visit to the most wonderful Chateau Phelan Segur is well worth a visit. We will look forward to a return trip back to France and although we like to stay in different places we will return here."

"La Maison d’Estournal znajduje się na pięknej własności winnicy, ale byliśmy rozczarowani w naszym doświadczeniem w restauracji. W tylnym podwórku jest piękny jadalnia, ale wieczorem odwiedziliśmy gospodyni myślała, że będzie zbyt wiatrowy, więc poprowadziła nas do środka w raczej ciemnej angielskiej klubowej jadalni typu. Menu miało więcej pretensji niż mogłoby dostarczyć w smaku. Ładny gougère i mały buche gazpacho zabawy okazały się smaczne, ale toutowane kursy trzech gwiazd szefów kuchni spadły. Szparagi smakował dobrze, nie wybitny i główne kurczaki i tłustej ryby były bardzo średni w smaku i prezentacji. Mimo, że był w środku winnicy, wino winnicy było oferowane za szkło 35 euro, a niższe ceny wybraliśmy zdecydowanie wydawały się niższe niż inne winy, które mieli za znacznie niższe ceny w całym naszym czasie we Francji. Francuska wiejska oferowała takie wspaniałe przyjemności kulinarne, ale ta brakowało trochę lustra."
