Hotele niedaleko Hooiberg Hiking Trail, Santa Cruz

We stayed in the adults-only part of the resort. We found this part of the hotel to be a bit soulless but there was nothing wrong with it - probably more us than them! The drinks in the all-inclusive were a bit 'meh' but the food was very good - especially the steakhouse. We originally had an outside marina view room but had to ask to move as it was very noisy from the road and the bars on the marina. The real gem of this hotel is the private island - it is beyond relaxing! Getting on the boat each day is novel and as soon as you set foot on the island you can feel the relaxation wash over you! We hired a cabana for one of the days which was fun - was it worth the cost - no but we are glad we did it. All in all a nice hotel but we would probably not go back.

Suitable for business trips, the hotel closest to the airport

Courtyard by Marriott Aruba saved our trip! My boyfriend John and I just came home from 5 days (Aug 2022) in Aruba and we had an absolutely fantastic time! This wonderful hotel is a big reason why. We had reserved a different hotel weeks in advance of our trip and were looking forward to staying there. However, when we checked in we were less than satisfied (putting it mildly) and we quickly decided to try to find accommodations elsewhere. After trying a few places that were booked, we discovered the Courtyard by Marriott! We loved the beautiful and open outdoor check in area overlooking the huge, and lovely courtyard with bar and pool! We were feeling a little desperate at that point, and they were extremely helpful and were able to book us a room for a great price on the spot! The room was huge, and so beautiful with a great view of the pool. We were thrilled! We went back to the place we had initially reserved and politely requested our deposit back. We'd like to give a special shoutout to Tim, who helped us reserve our room, and Yolanda at the Allegra restaurant for her great energy and spirit. We will definitely be back! This was truly the perfect home base for what turned out to be a wonderful visit to One Happy Island, despite the somewhat rocky start. The staff was friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure guests had an unforgettable stay. Whether I needed recommendations for local dining or help booking excursions, the staff was always available and eager to assist. In summary, the Embassy Suites by Hilton Aruba Resort is an ideal choice for anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable vacation in Aruba. It was definitely an excellent choice when my husband made the reservation at this hotel.
