The hotel is located very well, facing the sea directly, with a beautiful scenery and beautiful garden scenery. The hotel room is very large, with a wide view, relatively private and quiet, with birds singing and flowers fragrant. There are many swimming pools, and there are also many activities. Bringing children to play must be very enjoyable.

The hotel has a very nice appearance and the potential to be a real luxury resort. We had some very nice days and can recommend the hotel.
Unfortunately, there are some points that drag you down and you don't expect from a 5-star hotel.
There was a really musty smell in the room coming from the ventilation duct. Suspect that the rooms are left without any kind of air flow if there are no guests, which causes it to rot. The hotel should remedy this asap, as in the worst case this affects the health of the hotel's guests.
During our 4-day stay, it was not possible to swim in the sea on the beach. This is because of the hotel's rules. I saw no reason why there should be a red flag and that people who could swim, should not be able to swim in 10cm high waves.
In addition, those who will provide service to the hotel's guests (reception, concierge, restaurant) should be able to speak satisfactory enough English to communicate with their guests.
There should be more toilets by the pool area. And remove the smell of smoke from the toilets in the hotel lobby.

We celebrated our daughter’s birthday here. The hotel arranged a surprise cake for her, a very sweet gesture, really appreciative it. It’s located just on the costal line and view from my room was beautiful.

Amazing weekend! Good bedroom with a big bathtub close to the balcony, the outside part at the pools looks like a dream, I couldn’t believe I was in China! And at night had a nice barbecue with live show, great vibe! I’ll come back for sure! Only point is, if you want to have a “night party” is not the place at 22:00 everything stops.

The hotel is very nice and wonderful for a relaxing holiday near the beach. Yalong Bay has a great sandy beach with lots of water sports activities. It is the right place for a quite stay with a family or children. The hotel is also great for a relaxing stay. The breakfast is amazing and the hotel personal is super friendly and helpful. The outdoor swimming pools and gym are another plus of the hotel. I in particular enjoyed the Yoga course with the amazing coach there!
If someone is more interested in vibrant night life the Yalong Bay may possibly be too quite there. The bar in the hotel was often closed before the announced closing time. I also felt it was a bit strange that is not allowed to use the pools after 6 pm. Even when I go to swim in the sea at my own risk after 6 pm there came a guard and asked me to leave the water. All this is a typical hotel focused on families with children.
Still I enjoyed my stay very much !

I chose to stay at the Hilton Hotel this time, and the experience was great!
Upon arrival the staff Cody（Chinese name is wuliguo）added my WeChat. The service was very thoughtful and he took the initiative to improve our stay.
The room had wonderful sea view and is actually quite close to the seaside. The sea water in Yalong Bay are very clear, and you can also go swimming in the sea. There is kids club with very friendly and responsible team.
Next time we visit Sanya we’d choose Hilton again!

In 2021 we were already in the Hilton Hotel and unfortunately we have to say that now years later the Hotel has lost Quality. The Breakfast always had the same Selection so that I didn't feel like having Breakfast on the last Day. All Coffees did not taste good at all! However, I can praise the Service. They all tried their best to satisfy the Guests.
This has nothing to do with the Hotel but the Beach at Yalong Bay is not nice at all.
