Treebo Mountain Retreat Mahabaleshwar, 600 Mtrs from Lingmala Waterfall

When we entered to this place all of sudden climate got changed it was raining. me and my husband got happy also we enjoyed rain through standing in balcony which is my favorite place room no. 302 & 205 are best rooms with cool view. Staff was cooperative and good.....

This property is located near the metgutad bus stop, the property has parking space and an in-house restaurant which serves breakfast to all the guests, The staff are humble and supportive, and the rooms are clean and have a pleasant ambience.

Pleasant stay in Mahabaleshwar near to Metgutad location, rooms was pleasant and hygienic as per the Treebo Standard, breakfast was served in the buffet setup in the property, Hotel staff was helpful and supportive enough to assist the guest if required. I recommend this property to family and friends

Hotel Mountain Retreat is located at Metgutad on Mahabaleshwar - Panchgani road, slightly tucked inside and perched on a hillside. Google navigation is accurate to the property but there are no sign posting on the main road indicating the property. Construction is fairly fresh and rooms are well appointed with a double bed and a sofa which can easily accommodate three guests. Maintenance of the property was far from satisfactory with red mud marks and dead insects all over the floor which were not found cleaned during the entire day. There is no hot water available in the bathrooms after 1200 PM until next morning 0700AM. So, forget having an evening bath as the temperature dips below twenty degree. There is a restaurant inside with limited menu options and complimentary breakfast. Ask them specifically to reduce spices unless you have a liking for extremely spicy food. They serve Poha (a flattened rice dish) or toast with butter & jam for breakfast but no eggs on order! The staff lack training and not warm & welcoming in their attitude towards the guest, especially the only waiter managing the restaurant. Overall it was an average budget hotel experience.
