"This resort is our new annual retreat for some quiet, family together time. We have visited in July in the past 2 years. The torrential rains in this area put paid to any "touristy" activities. There is very little to do but sit around playing board or card games, chatting and lounging around. Meals are served 4 times a day and they are excellent! Looking forward to our next visit!"

"Rooms - medium size rooms and standard room might not fit families with kids. But decent rooms. We just book this place for our night stay bathroom - small bathroom. Shower tap is somehow not functioning properly. Door lock also having some issue food - strictly ok. We ordered simple dal and rice with aloo matar sabji but still cook not able to manage it as expected service - support staff was good no issues overall i would say it's an average hotel and can be chosen only for night stay"

"We recently stayed at ShivSagar Resorts & Spa, Bhilar for the first time, and it turned out to be a truly wonderful experience. While Mahabaleshwar gets extremely crowded over weekends, Bhilar offers a much more peaceful and refreshing atmosphere, making it an ideal getaway destination. The property is located at a scenic spot and is conveniently close to attractions like Aves World and Kingsberry. One of the most unique experiences which is being allowed here is to pluck fresh strawberries grown on the terrace — a thoughtful gesture by the humble and warm hotel owner. A special mention to the Hotel General Manager Mr. Prakash Bhakat, whose hospitality and ever-smiling nature ensured that every guest felt comfortable and cared for. Our room was exceptionally spacious, that can esily accommodate four adults, and it even featured an in-room Jacuzzi tub. The restaurant experience was equally impressive. Head Chef Mr. Pritam Singh ***** with Mr. Arvind and Ms. Aditi managed everything beautifully. The food was delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and the menu had an excellent variety. At the front desk, Ms. Sanskriti shared fascinating insights about the history and culture of Bhilar — India’s famous “Village of Books.” The village’s love for books and its tradition of book sharing truly gives the place a unique charm. Overall, our stay was relaxing, memorable, and filled with warmth. We are already looking forward to visiting again during the monsoon season."
