The rooms are comfortable, well presented, and offered at a fair price. Everything felt organised and welcoming from the moment I arrived. The hosts stood out the most. They were warm, attentive, and genuinely hospitable throughout the stay. The home-cooked food was excellent, with every meal prepared with care and full of flavour. Thank you for also looking after my Dad. That meant a lot and made the experience even more special. I would strongly recommend Mountview Hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful stay with great service and food."

"Do not be fooled by the pictures or reviews—they seem to be from friends and family. The hotel is old, and the rooms are not properly cleaned. There were stains on the floor, and the hand spray was carelessly thrown on the commode. The door knob was broken and never repaired. The manager seemed indifferent to any of our concerns. We had no Wi-Fi and no hot water, and when I raised these issues, the staff said we got the room we paid for. It was a nightmare stay. I’ve uploaded pictures to back up my experience. I managed to get i for one night stay. My advice, never book non refundable booking for this hotel. Kindly pay at the hotel after checking the rooms."

"The location is about 2.5 kms to the main market. There is not much one can do around the hotel. The rooms are clean, big in size, the sunset and sunrise is visible from the hotel. Best part was the food that was there. Poha, dosas and vada pav were really good and tasty. I feel the sambhar should not be made sweet. Overall good cleanliness and spacious rooms. Definitely worth it to stay again!!"
