"A terrible experience, one I'll absolutely forget!!!! I had booked a one-night stay as a birthday present for my partner in what was supposed to be a magnificent property immersed in history and vineyards, and I found myself staying in a room inside the highly regarded 4-star hotel, literally infested with bedbugs and other insects. I spent the afternoon from arrival to dinner, along with the staff, trying to eliminate the infesting insects, wasting time and opportunity, since even the maintenance workers' intervention, dismantling light fixtures and air vents, failed to resolve the problem. After dinner, the hunt began again, and at 10:00 PM, I called reception in desperation to complain. Only at 11:00 PM were we given the opportunity to sleep in a room in the guesthouse located on the other side of the park. It was a lower-category room, but at least it was clean. When finalizing the details of my stay with management, I had to speak up to have them acknowledge the terrible inconvenience and deduct the difference from the price of a lower-category room from the amount already paid for a room at a 4-star hotel. Unacceptable!!! Not even a one-star hotel would have handled the situation this way. Due to issues with the hotel, which failed to guarantee the cleanliness and hygiene expected when booking rooms of a certain standard, we had a birthday party we'll definitely forget!"

"We stayed at this place for 3 nights in May. This hotel is very nice, but I would call it modern and sterile. It is not a cozy country inn by any means. The hotel is in a beautiful setting among endless vineyards. You could say that it is in the middle of nowhere, but there are activities and restaurants within a 30-minute drive. The food is good (I would not call it great), but it is quite pricey. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here, but I am not hankering to return."

"Overall, a very nice place. Clean rooms. Pay attention to the closet layout. One door didn't close completely. In the village, there's an excellent restaurant and a bistro (which is the problem). You can buy wine from the Fontanafredda winery and other wineries that collaborate with them. The truffle hunting service with a dog and truffle hunter is excellent."
