Hotele w: Xinzhuang, Qibao, Szanghaj

I've always loved this hotel, one of the last true Le Méridiens from the Starwood era – a real masterpiece from the real estate boom. The accompanying art gallery and the slanted 'spaceship' bathroom are fantastic; on a sunny day, the pure white bathroom truly shines. The custom office furniture from 12 years ago was definitely a cutting-edge aesthetic back then. When the weather's clear, you can see Lujiazui, over ten kilometers away, which is absolutely stunning (ΩДΩ)! The front desk staff, especially the ladies, were excellent. Their service is definitely top-tier for Marriott in Southwest China – give them a bonus! Staying local is indeed the best way to beat the summer heat! My only complaint is that even when it wasn't busy, the freshly squeezed juice at breakfast wasn't refilled after 9 AM. And the noodle station staff somehow smelled more 'work-worn' than I did... It's a shame that after the Marriott acquisition, Le Méridien's brand essence has visibly deteriorated... As AI says, there will never be another Le Méridien with such style and amenities again, *sigh* (＞_＜)～

Booked this hotel as I wanted to try the newly opened 市域线 City Airport Rail Link, linking Hongqiao to Pudong Airport in 40 minutes. This hotel is located directly opposite the Link Reit Mall, and can be reached by the metro directly, so it is really convenient. Qibao Old street is just around the corner. Room was really small, and as I had tugged along my largest luggage, I find it challenging to fully open my luggage to pack my belongings. However, this was pretty much expected when I booked the room, so no surprise there. Other than that, the rooms are well kept, and the staffs were friendly and helpful. This hotel is a great option if just using it as a ”transit station” for 1 night.

This hotel is one of the finest I’ve stayed at during my many visits to Shanghai. It’s a newly built property with an elegant exterior and a meticulously clean, well-designed interior. A light, refreshing scent fills both the rooms and common areas, creating a calm and welcoming ambiance throughout the hotel. The guest rooms are thoughtfully arranged, blending comfort and functionality with a high level of maintenance and care. What truly distinguishes this hotel, however, is the exceptional staff. Their warmth and genuine kindness made my stay all the more memorable — some of the best hospitality I’ve experienced anywhere. Although the location is slightly less central and can be a bit inconvenient to access, it’s by no means a serious downside. For travelers looking for a peaceful, comfortable, and high-quality stay in Shanghai, this hotel is an outstanding choice.

Stayed from 2nd November 2023 till 11th November 2023 at Sushi Light Luxury Hotel (Shanghai Qibao Lianming Road Branch). Excellent all round service. Especially, the reception Service was superb. I have no hesitation in recommending the hotel to any of my associates.

Bardzo relaksujące i komfortowe doświadczenie pobytu w hotelu Ibis w pobliżu stacji Shanghai Hongqiao. Pokój jest dobrze utrzymany, czysty i schludny. Uwielbiamy jedzenie, śniadania są zdrowe i pyszne. Recepcjoniści są łatwi w kontakcie. Zagraniczni goście są tutaj bardzo mile widziani w hotelu Ibis. We’re a family of four and stayed in the zoo-themed family twin room. The room was clean and fun, with LEGO toys and a smart toilet. Beds (1.2m) were a bit small for adults, but still comfortable. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was mainly Chinese, with delicious handmade wontons and sticky rice rolls—very local and tasty. The free self-service laundry and dryer were a huge plus for families. Great location near malls, restaurants, and the metro. Very convenient and family-friendly!

Great place. Clean, close to the metro, friendly staff. They clean the rooms every day and provide water, towels, slippers, toothbrushes, and toiletries. I recommend this place to everyone.👌

This newly opened hotel boasts a stylish, minimalist design and a wide array of new recreational facilities. The in-room appliances are all brand new, and the smart controls are incredibly convenient. The hardware here is definitely among the best in the area. As a new establishment, all the facilities are brand new, with many added conveniences. The room layout is well-organized, making for a fantastic 3.6-star experience.

The staffs at the reception is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is self service in Chinese style but mixed with western foods. The food is fresh and plentiful. The location is perfect for catching high speed train at Shanghai Hongqiao Railway station. It is also not very far for the Hongqiao Airport. The manager is also friendly and helpful. She help us to call DiDi and make sure of correct pickup location and destination. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and will stay there again if I am going to Shanghai again!
