Shangri-La Banxia Time Homestay (Dukezong Ancient City Branch)

We arrived early from Lijiang and the boss allows us to check in early to rest. The entrance area upon arrival was welcoming. Very aesthetics. You can even ask their help to arrange tour. Very helpful and informative. The room was big enough for 4 persons. There is a sofa and table and still enough room to put our bags. We are located at first floor and is convenient to go in and out. What i like there is 2 separate toilet. The place is at dukezong and convenient to move around where There a lot of nice shops and Cafe. There are 2 halal restaurant which are walking distance about 12 mins walk. There is and oxygen tank in our room which convenient when my husband can't breathe early in the morning. They help to arrange transport to train early morning. Our train ride back at kunming is at 7.20am and we are thankful that the car is on time. Overall highly recommended to come and stay at this place. We are truly thankful to meet with kind people at this hotel. There is a cute dog too.

We stayed here for 4 days 3 nights, this place is great, the location is superb, is literally next to the Guishan Park and within the Dukezong Ancient Town. The owner is very helpful, he even fetch us and drop us from/ to the railway station. The lady owner of this place is also very friendly and our kids really love their poodle dog (muo muo). They also helped us and recommended a great lady driver and we were very satisfied with the trip. We really enjoyed our stay here and the kids were very sad to leave the place.

Location is excellent, located in the middle of Ancient Town. The car can drop us off/pick up infront of the hotel. The ambiance is so comfy. Staff are really nice, friendly and willing to help. The room and facilities are amazing. The heating floor is great for winter. The heating beds are also great. The most impressive is automatic toilet like in Japan. I would say this hotel is worth for what we paid 👍👍👍 I recommend this hotel to the one who would like to stay in the ancient town. Foreigners are accepted. FYI, English name of the hotel is Half Summer Time

The hotel is closed to Dukezong Old Town and you can reach to Guishan Temple by walking. The room is super clean and comfortable. Noted** this is the most very comfortable hotel that I've stay in the trip, for those who worries about toilet, the hotel has smart toilet with the automatic spray bidet system to clean without using any toilet paper (And of course we can select the temperature of water and level of the water pressure) I've book the Leisure Suite City View with the 2 queensize beds, floor heating and 1 living room with the fascinating view of Guishan Temple. Lastly, the hospitality of the hotel host and staffs are super nice!! I'm so impressed Don't worry about speaking Chinese, you can use google translate (for roaming sim) and Wechat translate to communicate with them!!

- Good location, walking distance to Dukezong ancient town (less than 5 min) - Hosts are friendly, both husband and wife are helpful, they even offered to send us to railway station after we checked out . Will definitely book this accommodation again if we back to Shangri La :) Highly recommended We really enjoyed our stay 😍
