Karen Boutique Hotel (Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center)

Upgraded room to my booking this time. Rooms are modern & nice. More restaurants, supermarkets & convenient shop at there. Hope to stay here in future.

Place is Very good and clean. Friendly location public transportation near by. And good restaurants close by plus shopping area

The help desk reception ladies are really very, very nice, so kind, and they are giving the best service, and they also guide how to travel in shenzhen how to take the metro best hotel service in 🇨🇳 CHINA.

If you don't like the smell of cigarettes and smoke, this hotel is not for you. The whole room smells like cigarettes. The bathroom is full of old dirt and stains. If you can pay 100 rmb more, there are way better options nearby.

Good well

the hotel had a really nice position, it was close to the Huaqiang technology district and also close to the metro. You couldn't have breakfast at the hotel but on the other side of the road there is a Mcdonald, 7-11 and other stores where you can easily find some food.

Nice hotel clean friendly stuff but unfortunately the rooms are so noisy can hear neighbors and wifi is so slow or not working sometimes

The room assigned was windowless, which is fine for me (for other travellers that are particular to take note). Room had some lingering cigarette smell. Bed, pillow, hot shower, toilet and tv were all working and comfortable. Walls a bit thin, sometimes you can hear people chatting. Room service was provided daily with fresh 2 bottled water, towels and room slippers. There are pretty nice food, pharmacy, telecom, convenience stores around the hotel. MRT (Huaqiang Station, Line 1) will require around 5-7 mins of walking. Shopping mall is next to the MRT.

Overall this was a nice place for the price. It was nicely cleaned and overall a good stay for me. However, reception was quite rude to me, and refused to offer help with even the simplest things. For example, I asked if they had an umbrella I could borrow, and they said no. I was just about to walk out in the rain when I saw a stand full of umbrellas, and I asked if I could borrow one. They then said yes. I would almost have preferred no reception staff at that point :)
