The experience was outstanding and fascinating. We celebrated our wedding Anniversary and you made it more colorful and beautiful with your great hospitality. Great location ,great heritage look and old fascinating interior which we miss during our stay in 5 star hotels. Room service was prompt and with lot of love and welcome. Priyanka thakur is very helpful and great staff of your made us feel very comfortable. She is a great asset to your hotel. Ganlas.

From the moment we arrived at the Oberoi Cecil in Shimla we were greeted with kind, knowledgeable and helpful staff: from the manager to the concierge, room cleaning staff, restaurant chefs and servers as well as the therapists at the spa, all staff went out of their way to provide extraordinarily levels of service. This a place with a guiding ethos: “What can we do to make your stay with us better?" To highlight specific individuals is difficult as all were exceptional. Special thanks to Chef Raj Kappur Bhattia and his team, Tenzin (at the spa) and Chirag, our room attendant who kept our suite as beautiful and tidy as when we first arrived. As well as its people, the hotel has fantastic facilities: a great restaurant with a wide selection of Indian, Asian and European dishes; the gym is well-equipped and the pool is heated (29C/84F). A definite 5 star review.

Services are excellent and the staff are happy to welcome us. Kitchen staff are best: Rajkumar, the main chef, excellent cook,he has cooked masala dosa for us. Dinning room staff, always there to assist. Arslan , are one of the best, smiling all the time. Reception, ladies are Well mannered and beautiful.

One of the most memorable trip we had ..stayed for three plus weeks .... Would like to thank the whole Cecil team. From the front desk to housekeeping and dinning and the security all are so helpful and humble . You will feel at home always if you are staying at Cecil .

The best hotel I have been to. The staff are excellent, food delicious and the hotel facilities very good. For information for the independent traveller, there is a small airport in Shimla and Tibet is doable from here. Shimla is stunning, lots of wild Monkeys, history- including House of the former Viceroys of India and walking in foothills of Himalayas

Stayed at the property for 2 nights and it was everything I wanted it to be. Amazing service from all the staff who attended us, Especially Mr Rajkumar Bhatia from kitchen who was extremely helpful with catering to our food choices. Absolutely wonderful! Highly recommended!!

The Oberoi Cecil is a wonderful place to stay and relax. The staff is friendly and always at your service. The hotel is well located near the Mall Road and has ample parking. The kids play area is well equipped and staffed with lots of fun filled activities.

Amazing stay, a perfect holiday for us was curated by Sahil Sidhu from HK. We didn't have to really request for anything, rather was well anticipated by the team that had always stood ahead by delighting us every time. The food was delectable and the service prompt. In conclusion, things couldn't have been better!
