.The room was spacious with contemporary and minimalist design but still very functional. There's even a divider between the bathroom to the rest of the room so it felt like staying in a junior suite instead.
.The facilities were amazing, best indoor pool I've been to ever. It was fitted with all the aqua techs which provide so many massage options. There's also 2 types of saunas, a salt room, a steam room and even a ice tube filled with ice.
.The food at the hotel restaurant was amazing
.The service was so good because I was very frustrated and hangry as the QR code and the TV ordering system didn't work and I called the restaurant repeatedly and no one picked up. So I went down and spoke to Daria, who listened to my concerns and personally took me to the restaurant so that I can order something from the restaurant menu that I really wanted to take back to the room which is not supposed to be done. Diana from In Room Dining even came to deliver the food to my room for me, which actually wasn't her job. I felt looked after and treated like a guest in a 5 star property.
To top it up, we decided to have lunch at the hotel restaurant after checked out and met Vladislav, who gave us an amazing service from food to drinks. Absolutely perfect.
I will definitely come back to stay here next time I am in Sofia and will recommend it to everyone who's coming to Sofia.

GGośćThe Junior Suite was wonderful, essentially a studio apartment with a well-equipped kitchen and dining area, large windows, a private balcony seating area and extensive shelf space. The bathroom was very modern with a very nice tall shower. The beds were very comfortable and the room was large, with a couch. Definitely a great place for both short and long stays.
There were a few small inconveniences in the room, but nothing that affected our stay (water seemed to leak over the door of the shower onto the shower mat; toilet seat was very stiff and loud to open/close; closets were very wide but oddly short to accommodate extra drawers, so too small to hang dresses in full length; the automatic lighting inside the closets did not turn off correctly; and our key card stopped working in the middle of our stay and had to be fixed at the reception). The hotel is very close to a tram stop, so it's easy to get into the city center, and it's also very close to the Cultural Center. It is a bit more of a trek to walk into the city, but still possible in 20 minutes or so. The hotel is located on a small street off the main road and the sidewalk leading up to it is very narrow and in disrepair. You would not guess that the inside of the hotel is so sleek and modern based on the older surrounding area.

KKMSNiedawno zostałem w Sofia Novotel i ogólnie miał przyjemne doświadczenie. Pokoje były bardzo czyste i dobrze utrzymane, zapewniając komfortowe miejsce do rozwijania się po zajętym dniu. Łóżka były idealnenie zbyt mocne i nie zbyt miękkie, zapewniając wspaniały sen nocy.
Hotel’s location is fantastic, located just across the street from a shopping mall, which made it incredibly convenient for dining, shopping, and entertainment. Staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile.
Śniadanie było doskonałe, oferując dobrą różnorodność świeżych i smacznych opcji do rozpoczęcia dnia.
Jedynym zniżką była siłownia, która jest dość mała i brakuje ciężkich wolnych wagi i baru do wyciągania. Podczas gdy jest to dobra dla podstawowego treningu, ci, którzy szukają bardziej kompleksowego konfiguracji fitness mogą być rozczarowane.
W sumie, Sofia Novotel jest świetnym wyborem dla swojej lokalizacji, komfortu i usługi, ale entuzjaści fitness mogą znaleźć ograniczone obiekty siłowni. Z pewnością zostanę tu jeszcze raz!

FFilipino Traveler & Entrepreneur - Beverly VegaHotel was nice, glad that I’ve found it online, it’s hard to find a good hotel to book online due to tons of negative feedbacks, but this one has a great feedback so I booked it. And it did not disappoint me.
Hotel is clean with good fragrance that you can smell the moment that you’ll enter the lobby / reception.
Service is great, friendly and accommodating staff. The room is spacious, seems like a 4 star room for me. They serve breakfast, with tons of seats where you can relax after check in while waiting for your next trip or flight.
I forgot my bag in their lounge area / lobby before I went to their restaurant to take coffee. Then was in a hurry to go to the car service I booked outside when it was already time to go to the bus station going to Romania. After arriving at the bus station, I noticed that my bag is not in my possession, when I was about to get my other phone. Because I have other luggages to carry and was in hurry.
I was worried sick that it will be lost, my bag, glad that it was there. The staff handed it over, they kept it, and nothing was missing. After getting it, I got an email from the booking app where I booked the hotel, telling me that Amar Design Hotel contacted them saying that I left my bag at the hotel. And they were asking for my contact number to reach me, they were to kind to do that right immediately. But I already got the bag.
Still thankful and grateful to their staff.
I would definitely check in here again when I get back to Sofia, and will recommend it to friends who are traveling here.

Staff very friendly and attentive. Could have invested in 300m asphalt road on exit of hotel for airport shuttle to reach the main road , bumps in rough off road at present are quite awakening

Just off the main street so quiet.
3minute walk to the subway, where you can go 5 stops to the end of the line and take bus 66 up through the pine forest of the Vitoska mountain & ski lifts.
We had a double room with a small balcony that was fine.
Just asked reception & got a kettle & coffee,& sugar.
The bathroom has been refitted with new towels & was spotless. The room carpet is probably next for changing
It seems the cleaners used too much insecticide which left a lingering smell.
The breakfast was 3 minutes walk to a sister hotel. There was a good choice of cereals, fruit, breads, cakes cold cuts etc
It's not luxurious but great for a couple for 3 mights

GGośćNice clean standard Ibis Hotel. Airport shuttle available every 20 minutes, very convenient service; 5-8 minutes drive.
Two minors issues with the room; external bathroom door knob was missing and some water leaks under the sink. The housekeeping should observe such small details and act accordingly.
Comdortable bed, good aircon.
Some teabags and coffee should be made available in-room for guests.
Restaurant's prices are a little high ~20€ for a good and decent hamburger.
Breakfast buffet ok.
Reception, restaurant and shuttle's staff were all friendly and responsive.
In all a good and very decent no frills airport hotel.

AAlek MThe hotel has a spa and fitness center. Compared to Western European spas in hotels, here you might receive one towel if you ask at the spa reception. Otherwise there are no others on disposal and there is no water dispenser. You have to buy it or bring it with you. The saunas could be more clean, especially the steam sauna, which was very dirty in the evening. To swim in the pool you need to buy a swimming cap. The food at the breakfast was very delicious, compared to other experiences I made in Sofia. It could be maybe different every day, because the only difference was how the potatoes were prepared. In any case, you have a variety of food to eat and you will not be hungry. I was in another Ramada hotel and this one was on a lower level than the one in Bucharest and needs a renovation in the rooms or in the restaurant. The chairs were dirty there.
