"My friends and I booked two rooms for 3 days and 2 nights, costing over 1600 yuan per night for the weekend. The current price of over 1600 yuan for a guesthouse is completely unacceptable given the environment, service, facilities, and cleanliness. The staff were all untrained young people. On the first day, after checking in at the front desk, a staff member escorted my friends and their family to their room. They told us to go to the parking lot and wait for someone to retrieve our luggage before guiding us to our room. We parked and retrieved our luggage ourselves in the open space, which was over 30 degrees Celsius, and no one offered any service. We only saw several young people walking around; it was unclear whether they were guests or staff. They weren't wearing uniforms and showed no professionalism! We had to actively ask if they were hotel staff and who would bring our luggage and guide us to our room… On the first night, the water flow from the bathroom faucet was very weak. We didn't know if it was due to water pressure or a faucet problem. We asked a staff member, but they couldn't adjust it and had to change our room. However, every room had mold spots on the walls, the corners of the bathroom were very itchy, and the bathroom shower curb was broken, making it easy to scratch guests when entering and exiting. My son developed an itchy rash after sleeping there for one night. The bedding wasn't very clean either, and the room was old and poorly maintained! The next morning at 8 AM, I woke up to find the water was cut off, making it impossible to wash or use the toilet. Both rows of houses were under repair with no water supply, and by 11 AM there was still no sign of repairs, leaving all guests waiting. In this sweltering heat, being unable to use the water was unbelievable; there was absolutely no recourse for the guests. I had no choice but to check out and leave! This is a long-established chain guesthouse, not just a bunch of people gathered in a group chat. They have no way to handle unexpected problems, the room facilities are old and dilapidated, and the experience was so poor, yet they charge over five-star rates. I advise everyone not to be misled by the trendy photos when choosing this place!"

Opening the window revealed distant mountains shrouded in mist, wisps of smoke rising from chimneys, and the air filled with the fresh scent of grass and trees. It was so quiet you could hear the mountain wind rustling through the forest – truly the idyllic retreat I'd always dreamed of. The room was my absolute favorite, with its rustic elegance. Old wooden beams and rammed earth walls paired with warm yellow lighting created a wonderful atmosphere. The two 1.8-meter king-size beds were incredibly thoughtful – spacious, comfortable, and with just the right firmness. The farm-style dinner was also a delightful surprise. The stir-fried beef with green peppers was tender and flavorful, the shrimp were bouncy and sweet, and there were refreshing seasonal vegetables and a comforting soup – every bite was authentically mountain flavor. I stayed here for two nights and felt completely healed. I definitely want to come back!"

The sheer number of guesthouses in Songyang was overwhelming. Choosing Jiushe was purely by chance. Beforehand, I only had a basic impression from photos and reviews. On the day I arrived, it was drizzling, and the valley was shrouded in mist, making it feel like a fairyland. "Wild horses, dust, and living things breathing each other." Everything was too beautiful. Although there was a flight of stairs from the parking lot to the lobby, hotel staff helped with our luggage. The guesthouse was especially quiet during the off-season. The rooms were scattered across different hillsides, creating a harmonious yet undisturbed atmosphere. The welcoming dog, Xiao Jiu, and the wild-spirited golden shaded dog, Dandelion, completely melted the hearts of even those of us who don't usually like animals. My room, number 6, was spacious, divided into three areas. The room used a smart system, and the lighting and ventilation kept the temperature at a comfortable level. The bed was large and of just the right firmness; even for someone like me who's not a good sleeper, the room's perfect temperature, humidity, and bedding ensured I wouldn't have trouble sleeping. I had a wonderful two nights here and would love to come back."
