PROS: great spot, pleasant owners, parking available for free, and I gratefully accepted accommodation that I knew had some downsides to it according to TA. Beds Ok. Might I suggest better local tourist knowledge at the front desk? Would still recommend but only 3 star and this could be so easily improved and become a 4 star despite busy road location. You are still in the Blue Mountains. CONS: road/ rail noise. It’s Faulconbridge... not much charm there. Could I suggest you get rid of the trampoline remains? It looks horrible and removal would be easy. Also, when you go down the back road, it also looks down and out. If you fixed these things your motel would be a very desirable place to stay due to its proximity to everywhere in the Blue Mountains.

We have stayed at Value Suites on several occasions and actually liked the place until this visit.... Firstly lined up to check in only to be told when we got to counter that there was someone before us ( they were sitting in a lounge type area) and to take a seat. Once they were booked in we were pretty much hollered at from behind the counter as we could not see the reception lady and she could not see us... Questioned the $10 swipe charge and was told security for room and could not book in without it..... Then a guest showed up at the counter in a shirt and black bonds underpants, yep that's all. When I made a comment about the indecent clothing I was laughed at by the receptionist who said she couldn't say anything to him. Then asked me if I said anything to him to which I replied not my place... once again a laugh from receptionist.. Get to our room to find a tear in the bedhead fabric, stain on a seat and small table not wiped. Never had issues before but last time we will be staying here.....

Second time here for fairly close access to Sydney International Regatta Centre. Quiet location away from traffic. Cabins are of an adequate size for a family of 4 for a short period. The older cabins are certainly showing their age but comfortable enough for a quick night stop. I think the price we paid reflects this though. I was very optimistic of this place, and indeed spent a very comfortable afternoon in air conditioning with high speed internet for work. The place is a stone's throw from a multitude of dining options, and the river, and it has a swimming pool. However there was a lot of construction noise from next door, and I never would have booked if I'd known that. It's not on the website. When I peeled back the sheets, housekeeping had left the bottom 30cm of the bed completely un-sheeted under the doona. No under protector or anything, so just my own feet on rough mattress. Awful. The bed was also pretty uncomfortable (hard) and would benefit from a topper. Someone else's dirty socks were in the safe. I was willing to overlook the tradie who came into my room while I was in there. Happy I had the chain on, and it was an honest mistake. All in all I think 3 stars is a bit of a generous review, but I am appreciative of what it's like to be in small business and have external factors affect your product. A general workshop with the staff would bring it up to scratch in no time.

I was very optimistic of this place, and indeed spent a very comfortable afternoon in air conditioning with high speed internet for work. The place is a stone's throw from a multitude of dining options, and the river, and it has a swimming pool. However there was a lot of construction noise from next door, and I never would have booked if I'd known that. It's not on the website. When I peeled back the sheets, housekeeping had left the bottom 30cm of the bed completely un-sheeted under the doona. No under protector or anything, so just my own feet on rough mattress. Awful. The bed was also pretty uncomfortable (hard) and would benefit from a topper. Someone else's dirty socks were in the safe. I was willing to overlook the tradie who came into my room while I was in there. Happy I had the chain on, and it was an honest mistake. All in all I think 3 stars is a bit of a generous review, but I am appreciative of what it's like to be in small business and have external factors affect your product. A general workshop with the staff would bring it up to scratch in no time.

PROS: great spot, pleasant owners, parking available for free, and I gratefully accepted accommodation that I knew had some downsides to it according to TA. Beds Ok. Might I suggest better local tourist knowledge at the front desk? Would still recommend but only 3 star and this could be so easily improved and become a 4 star despite busy road location. You are still in the Blue Mountains. CONS: road/ rail noise. It’s Faulconbridge... not much charm there. Could I suggest you get rid of the trampoline remains? It looks horrible and removal would be easy. Also, when you go down the back road, it also looks down and out. If you fixed these things your motel would be a very desirable place to stay due to its proximity to everywhere in the Blue Mountains.

We have stayed at Value Suites on several occasions and actually liked the place until this visit.... Firstly lined up to check in only to be told when we got to counter that there was someone before us ( they were sitting in a lounge type area) and to take a seat. Once they were booked in we were pretty much hollered at from behind the counter as we could not see the reception lady and she could not see us... Questioned the $10 swipe charge and was told security for room and could not book in without it..... Then a guest showed up at the counter in a shirt and black bonds underpants, yep that's all. When I made a comment about the indecent clothing I was laughed at by the receptionist who said she couldn't say anything to him. Then asked me if I said anything to him to which I replied not my place... once again a laugh from receptionist.. Get to our room to find a tear in the bedhead fabric, stain on a seat and small table not wiped. Never had issues before but last time we will be staying here.....

Second time here for fairly close access to Sydney International Regatta Centre. Quiet location away from traffic. Cabins are of an adequate size for a family of 4 for a short period. The older cabins are certainly showing their age but comfortable enough for a quick night stop. I think the price we paid reflects this though. Friendly staff when we checked in by phone out of hours.
