Me and my partner Jenna got married here then stayed the night and it was a fantastic day/experience. We had around 60 guests with more coming in the evening and everything went perfectly no thanks to Harriet and the main man Stefan ! Im not sure if these guys work every wedding but you need to ask for them as they were brilliant. Always had a drink in our hands, guiding us from here to there making sure we were on time, and anything we needed we just had to ask and 30 seconds later it was done. They really helped make our day special. The hotel itself was also great, really well looked after grounds against a stunning backdrop of St Ives, and very tidy inside. We have absolutely no complaints at all with the hotel or staff, if we were to get married again, we would pick Tregenna in a heartbeat. Also a special thank you to the security man on the gate, great guy and he drove my disabled mum around in a golf buggy all day and made her feel like the queen.

Five-star recommendation, super location, invincible sea view, breakfast included, mainly the scenery is very good, just next to the train station, there is a small road into the restaurant, the bar and the bar are sea views, there is a large terrace outside, sitting can drink Afternoon tea, sit at the bar and drink at night, watching the seascape outside. The room I booked was small, but it was not bad. It also provided slippers and bathrobes, bath towels, etc. It was very convenient to go down to the beach for a few minutes. It was the most recommended hotel next to the beach, and it was relatively new.

When you stay at Lifeboat Inn in St Ives, you'll be near the beach, just steps from St Ives Harbour and Harbour Sand. This inn is 2.7 mi (4.4 km) from Carbis Bay Beach and 9.7 mi (15.6 km) from St. Michael's Mount.At Lifeboat Inn, enjoy a satisfying meal at the restaurant. As the title says, this is the second time I've stayed at this great B&B, having first stayed here in 2018. Looking back to my review then, my comments now are pretty much the same, with no complaints from an enjoyable few weeks' stay. First of all, location wise this B&B is in a great spot. About ten minutes leisurely walk from the Carbis Bay train station (which gets you to St Ives in minutes or slightly longer to St Erth, which is on the main line from Penzance to London and beyond). A few minutes longer and you’re on the beach. A bus stop right opposite with regular buses into St Ives or one a few minutes walk that can take you further afield (the coaster to Padstow, for example). You can also walk into St Ives, which takes a leisurely 30 minutes either following the road or by picking up the South West coast path down by the beach. The B&B is well maintained and well presented. I stayed in a small double room on the top floor with fantastic views of the coast. Tea/coffee making facilities are provided as well as a hairdryer. The bed/shower were both fine and I had no complaints about any aspects of the room. I slept soundly every night. Breakfast was continental, but with plenty of choice including fruit, pastries, various cereals, yoghurts, toast, waffles etc. Self service on everything except tea, which the owner Adrian provides if requested. This was perfect for my purposes and kept everything relaxed. It also means that breakfast extends over a couple of hours, from 8am to 10am, which provides for flexibility and should be fine for most people’s purposes. Adrian is friendly and helpful, checking in with everyone at breakfast and when you bump into him during the day. Just what you look for when you stay in a B&B. As I noted when I wrote a review in 2018, it is obvious that he has pride in what he’s doing, which helps to make the stay more enjoyable. WiFi is provided and on the top floor I had no connectivity issues. Overall, an excellent B&B.

The room design is very special and the accommodation is very comfortable. The attic room is hot during the day when it is sunny. The hotel does not include breakfast, but there is a restaurant downstairs, which tastes very good. There are some specialty shops near the hotel, which are worth visiting. Most of Penzance's accommodations are on the hillside, not far from the hotel from the train station, but it is tiring to climb the slope with luggage. To all major attractions is to take a car from the railway station. There are several Chinese restaurants on the market steet, which taste pretty good.

Ground floor room with shower, compact one small wardrobe, no kng size bed which nowadays are pretty well standard, my bedside table collapse, cheap self assembly. The Hotel as steps at entrance and steps inside to bar and dining room. Rather small lift to other floors. Breakfast self service for hot & cold food, down steps to dining room, meals average neither good or bad. We think they are packing too many Coach Tours at one time, causing meal times to be variable and not consistent.

I booked a private function room for a school reunion, along with a buffet supper. The room was more than large enough, and pleasantly decorated, with a view of the sea. The table had been prepared despite our having a buffet as opposed to a ‘sit-down’ meal. The food was very good value for money. Tea and coffee were included, and top-ups were available. The staff could not have been more helpful, from my initial phone call, to finding a selection of different tea bags! Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. We were not hurried to leave, and additional teas/coffee were made available late into the evening (plus more of the lovely shortbread!) Overall, this was a very pleasant experience, and very good value for money. The helpfulness of the staff was the icing on the cake.

At the beach, the location is good. Great breakfast and good service.
