Absolutely exceptional stay – highly recommended! We had a truly wonderful experience here. The woman who runs the place is incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive. She went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect during our stay, and her willingness to assist with anything we needed was remarkable. The accommodation itself is exceptional – beautifully decorated with great taste, everything is new, spotless, and very well maintained and clean. We also had a fantastic dinner (no spicy!), which was a lovely surprise. What really stood out was how she looked after us during a period of heavy rain. She kept track of the condition of the road for us and gave us updates and advice on the best time to continue our journey safely. This place is a gem, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone. We felt truly cared for and will definitely return if we have the chance.

The Emei Mountain Floating Light Lake Hotel is truly awesome with its contemporary design, aesthetically pleasing with an ambience atmosphere, well equipped and immaculate with complimentary wholesome breakfasts and welcome fruits, we especially like the nutritious Pipa (loquats) bought by Chen Sifu.. Many Thanks Indeed to Chen Sifu for his amiable and super enthusiastic who provided us with necessary information and chauffeured us back and forth ie. Emei high speed train station / Emeishan station.. as well as bring us to enjoyed the authentic local cuisine.. This hotel is small, takes a little bit to locate it. But once you are there, it is very likable. A short walk from the ”Zero Kilometer” it's location is excellent. In a small hillstation, it is also close to convenience stores and a small shopping dining area. While it looks good in photos, the bath tub in the room itself is not convenient. Maybe could be an attraction for honeymooners. The Boss and his wife are helpful and kind. Complimentary breakfast is basic but enough. Though keep your mobile translation software ready, because there's no other language spoken but Mandarin. But this review would be incomplete if I did not mention on how to get there. Take a ”C” train from Chengdu East to Emeishan Station (roughly one hour) and then take a shuttle bus to Zero Kilometer (roughly 90 minutes). There are helpful tourism counters at the Emeishan Station to guide you. From the plains into the hills is quite a drive through the winding roads.

If you’re planning to go up to Mount Emei Golden Summit early to beat the crowd, Linggongli, which is located at mid-levels of Mount Emei, is a great place to put up the night. This place may not have many hotels and this hotel may not have many rooms but has air conditioning, floor heating and bed heating that ensures you can sleep comfortably even during nights with freezing temperatures. The rooms are super clean and staffs super friendly. We booked the 3 extended courtyard rooms and had our afternoon tea session on day of arrival. The hotel serves early breakfast upon request and we had one of our best dinners in a private room that night. What’s more incredible is we literally walked 1 minute to the Scenic Area Entrance to start our short journey up to the Golden Summit early. There were no long queues for the bus ride and cable car up. We were early to view the sea of clouds and got to see the sun rising above it. On our way down, the tour group crowds started swarming upwards but likewise we had we didn’t encounter cable car and bus queues.

I don’t get the oustanding rating and here are my reasons. -even though it’s located around 250m from the entrance of the baoguo temple,nobody we asked seemed to know the place because it’s located in a cul de sac at the end of other buildings. Trip indication is incorrect and apparently never been updated after the owner clarification. The boss and lady are very friendly and nice but the hotel needs some renovation. The damaged cooorifor floor are taped and the carpet is the room is obviously well used ,same as the wallpaper.Amendities are enough  and WiFi is working. Breakfast is limited but the worse is the soundproofing being woke at 5h30 by people walking upstairs,and the weird noises of the water or flushing pipes as the doors being closed without consideration. Can be a great place  with some updates.

Simple homestay in the heart of the Yinlin pavilion area. An ideal location if you want to explore this part of Emei mountains and like to stay in nature. Quietness, restaurant, beautiful location inside of scenic area. Because it is in the heart of the scenic area your trip from busstation needs to be arranged. Friendly and helpful staff

Small rest house with a restaurant at ground level (refer to attached photo). Next to the mid hill shuttle bus terminal linking to cable car station. Small bathroom with hot shower. Need to be careful to prevent excessive water flowing out of the door into the room floor. Suggest to install a low barrier at the front bottom door way to prevent water flowing out and damaging the wooden floor in the room. Nice gesture to wake visitor for sunrise and offer free use of hiking rod. A must have for 20-30 mins up slope walk to the cable car station. Next door is undergoing renovation work from 8am to 5pm currently. Not a problem as you will go up to the mountain during that time slot.

A perfect choice after a long hike to the Mount Emei. We started walking at the east entrance and it took us 11 hours to arrive here. It was an amazing experience. The hotel is freshly renovated and very clean. You will have many food options and small shops around. The next day you can continue your hike to the top of the mountain. Don't forget to visit the actual summit which is another 20 minutes walking from the golden ”summit”. We used the cable car and the bus to leave the mountain in order to save time and to save our knees.

Had a wonderful stay at the hotel, the staff was very attentive and there were often 1 or 2 serving me at a time, they answered all questions I had about my accommodations or the trip up to the Golden Summit. You simply can't beat the location, it was pretty much right across the way from the bus station. It was a bit cold inside the room initially but with the heated floor and heated blanket I was pulling off layers throughout the night. All in all it was a great stay, especially taking into consideration it was after my magical journey to the summit.
