„This hotel offers great value. It was the only one we could find that offered a 12 hour day room in Shanghai. It’s not the building shown in the photo, but on the third floor of a dingy building. The room had no window and the heating was set at 30 degrees celsius. It cooled down after we changed the temperature on the thermostat. It was also pitch black, so we left the light on in the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable, with extra pillows in the cupboard near the TV. The receptionist didn’t speak English, but communicated through a translation app on her phone.
The location was away from tourist areas, but opposite the Dapuqiao metro station on line 9. Use exit 3 and use the footbridge to cross the road in front of you. There are elevators on the bridge. Right behind the elevator is Haixing Plaza. Enter the building and walk straight ahead until you reach the elevator. Go to the 3rd floor. Hotel reception is on the left as you exit the elevator. There is no English sign, but you’re at the right place.”

Wcześniej oglądałam koreański serial „The Penthouse” i poczułam się jak prawdziwa bohaterka. Każdy z naszych pokoi miał widok na Oriental Pearl Tower i Bund. Doświadczyliśmy takiego luksusu! Szybko chwyciłam telefon i opublikowałam wiadomość na WeChat Moments. Byłam pod wrażeniem. Widziałam już Bulgari Hotel i W Hotel, ale widoki nie były tak piękne jak w tym. A ten sam widok można podziwiać za ułamek tej ceny. Nie mogę się powstrzymać od dodania kilku słów. Wszystkie pokoje są tematyczne i urządzone z najwyższą starannością. Zatrzymaliśmy się w Tiffany i Hermès. Następnym razem spróbuję pokoju w stylu Chanel. On naprawdę wie, jak obchodzić się z małą dziewczynką. Zaledwie kilka minut spacerem w dół znajduje się most Bund Waibaidu, a dalej w górę deptak Nanjing Road. To bardzo wygodne. Pokój był również bardzo czysty, a obsługa doskonała, z dedykowanym opiekunem. Wychodząc, wpadłam nawet na właściciela i miałam szczęście, że zaproszono mnie na taras na dachu, żeby podziwiać widok. „It is strategically close to Yuyuan Garden Exit 1 Metro station Line 10 (50 m), Fuyou Rd Mosque (100 m) n Xiaotaoyuan Mosque (800 m), Yu Garden (400 m), the Bund (1.2 km), Muslim or halal restaurants (along Zhejiang Rd - 1 km). On a ground floor below it is a shopping complex for sourvenirs, t-shirts, scaft & hats, travelling luggages, etc with reasonably cheap prices (but must bargain i.e. haft a price!). Initially they only provide a disposable bath towels, but you have to request for a regular bath towel, only then which they suplemented it! If you are on a budget friendly trip, then this place is just perfect, despite the walking lane leading to the elevator or building entrance is a bit unwelcoming due to old pavement and broken tar. But a washing machine with cooking stove in the room and the view facing the Bund just made up for it!”

GGośćPonieważ jest to nowy hotel, nie ma zbyt wielu koreańskich recenzji, więc to zostawiam.
Lokalizacja jest po drugiej stronie przejścia dla pieszych, jest stacja metra i dobre linie autobusowe, więc mogłem z łatwością poruszać się sam. Martwiłem się o pobyt na Nanjing East Road ze względu na lokalizację, ale jestem bardzo zadowolony bardzo blisko środkami transportu publicznego. Można dojść do rezydencji Wukang.
A ponieważ jest to nowy hotel, jest naprawdę czysty, nie zauważyłem ani jednej drobiny kurzu w pokoju. W szczególności personel sprzątający wydaje się od razu sprzątać łazienkę i prysznic, jeśli korzystasz z nich w nocy wspomniane w poprzednich recenzjach.

Aha, nie jestem wrażliwa na hałas i przeważnie po prostu spałam, więc dla mnie było w porządku, ale dla wrażliwych może to być trochę denerwujące.

Poza tym pracownicy byli bardzo śpiący i chaotyczni, kiedy się meldowałem, ale byli mili. Poprosiłem ich, aby poszukali mojego kartonu, kiedy się wymeldowałem i odebrałem bagaż, a oni wysłuchali mnie bez zirytowania udało mu się przywieźć go z powrotem do Korei bez kradzieży na lotnisku.

I initially booked the lower bunk with shared facilities which is in effect like having a bottom bunk in a hostel except here is a door to your own space.
I shifted my arrival dates thus had to switch to a different room type: the single ensuite. I cost a bit more but was well worth it.
I thought the room was well designed and the perfect solution for those who do not like to waste money on a hotel room…just want a clean and convenient place to sleep.
The room had a single bed with an ensuite. The floor space was only sufficient to open the door, but other space was well designed. The space under the bed was sufficient for my multiple bags. Comfortable bed. Next to the headspace of the bed there were to shelves plus additional hooks to hang clothes…making 10 hooks in total….plus multiple hangers. Also next to the bed were additional light switches so you need not get up to turn off lights. There were two bottles of water, topped up each day, tissues, free earplugs and a small bin so while in bed you did not need to reach for the bin next to the bed or in the ensuite. These touches showed the thought put into the design during refurbishment of the space.
The shower room was small but I had no problems. Shampoo and shower gel included as well as toothbrush and comb. Small mirror in ensuite and long mirror on wall. Wall mounted hairdryer. The towels are disposable type, not my preference and I used one alongside my travel towel.
Housekeeping came each day to empty bins and top of water. The lady was very nice and upon noticing that I had been ill for a couple of days, inquired after my health and checked that I had medicine.
There is a laundry; need to scan a QR code to use the program to pay. 8rmb for a wash and dry is a bargain.
Near reception there is a microwave, water dispenser to get hot water, tea on tap as well as a wide selection of free tea bags, instant coffee as well as ground coffee machine & candies.
The room has vents for air circulation on all the time (no windows) and a separate air conditioner control. When arriving I automatically turned on the air con, that night I felt uncomfortably warm. The aircon temp could not go lower than 18 which is reasonable except the temperature felt much higher than 18, and even though the fan speed sounded louder at different speeds it caused no movement in air. On the 2nd day I experimented with leaving the air con turned off….it was much cooler than when on so I did not use the air con again during my stay and was not too warm again.
Location: West Nanjing road stop is on line 2 meaning no changes for Hongqiao or Pudong airports. It is also a connection for lines 12&13 making it easy to get anywhere in the city. The hotel is about 10-15min walk from the metro, which did not bother me at all, and I also made use of the many public bicycles. The hotel has responded to previous feedback as the instructions prior to check-in had detailed instructions from multiple dropping off points. I found the hotel no problem…it is on the 4th floor of a small building within a complex. When I went out on the first night, I came back to find that door locked, but it was easy to get back in by following the instructions from an alternative drop off point.
Points to consider:
- The walls of the ensuite are glass thus may be an issue if sharing a room
- The walls are thin and sound travels so not good for a very light sleeper. I stayed 10 nights and on only 2 nights did I have a noisy neighbour

- the rooms on the inside have no windows. The continuous air circulation may cause dry eyes and throat when waking up. When in the room I sometimes left the door open to not feel stuffy.
is new and modern. It was always clean. It is great value for money, especially considering it is in the city centre.

GGośćAbsolutnie uwielbiałem mój pobyt w tym hotelu! Lokalizacja jest bardzo blisko metra i jest również naprawdę centralna. Hotel jest mniej niż 10 minut taksówką do Bundu i jedną stację od świątyni Jing An. Jest otoczony przez kilka restauracji i centrów handlowych i można wybrać się na spacer ulicą Nanjing West, więc jest bardzo wygodny do jedzenia lub robienia zakupów i jest cicho w nocy. Pokoje są bardzo czyste i niedawno odnowione. Obsługa była również nienaganna! Personel recepcji był bardzo uważny, aby mi pomóc, gdy miałem jakieś pytania i wygodnie zatrzymałem się tutaj na kilka tygodni :).

GGośćIt was a quite small and cozy room with old Chinese vibe. I would recommend to stay to feel how usual people live in China.
What I like most of all:
it was not serviced appartment with front desk, but online team - group in Wechat created works very well and solve the question in real time quite effectively. they helped us to register in Police as foreigner (sometimes even serviced appartment with 24 hour front desk reject with it). The only thing the communication feels no so polite- ”commandarm style”, from the other hand this feeling could be probably explained by language barier and cultural difference. So I would evaluate this like 4.5 from 5 stars.
what caould be improved:
Or more precise it could be greate to inform the visitors in advance about everything. Usually properties shows not only property inside photo but also outside. It was a little surprise for us where the property placed. It was a private sector and I attached the photos to my review. They are the photos that were absent at description, I would say it would be good to inform visitors about this in advance. From the other hand in addition where the property is placed (in old private sector) the future visitors will have advantage of living at very center of Shanghai paying reasonable price. The rest of the photo at description are correct and I can I approve the condition of apartment corresponds to description and that is important.
What I can add in addition. Despite on property informs in advance that property will not provide the soap, shampoo, etc, I would say to have a soap is more important than having toothbrush of single use, because it is very annoying to buy all stuff at every new hotel because of luggage weight.

Mimo że wygląd jest nieco stary, pokój na 9. piętrze jest bardzo dobry. Jest czysty i schludny. z dużą ilością miejsca, jest bardzo wygodny dla trzech osób. Prosimy o zabranie ze sobą własnego szamponu i środków pod prysznic, zapomnij o tych dostarczonych przez hotel.
