We arrived late and notified the host who waited up for us no problem, and he had turned on our AC to warm up the room which was so nice. I forgot to take photos of the room but it was large and had a little tea/reading nook just as described in the listing. We got to see the Stone Forest with almost no other people because we got there so early!”

„We stopped there on our way from Kunming to Yuanyang to split the trip and to enjoy the silver stone forest. Such a good pick we had by choosing the Mijia Inn! It's located in a quiet neighbourhood close to the silver stone forest entrance (~5km). The rooms are nice, well equipped, clean and the beds comfortable. We even had a balcony with seats to rest in. The common places are also very nice. There is at least one good restaurant nearby (as we only tried this one), along the main road; and a 7/11 equivalent just facing the house. The young lady managing the house speaks English; she's very nice and helpful. Definitely the place to stop when sleeping in Shilin!”

„Очень удобное расположение. От жд вокзала едет 90 автобус прям к этому отелю. Пройти пешком нужно буквально 50 метров через холл здания ( обратно на вокзал уезжали от сюда же. Спустились с отеля и сразу в автобус. Не нужно ходить и искать остановки). От отеля до кассы билетов на вход в каменный лес пройти минут 5. А от касс до трансфера к каменному лесу пройти 2-3 минуты. Если приезжаете, как мы на один день для посещения каменного леса. То номер хороший и не дорогой. Чистота конечно минус этого отеля. Да и ремонта давно там не было. Но за эту цену требовать супер чистоты и не стоит.”

„Great location that it is near a lot of food places, a store, and the Stone Forest. Even though I already visited Stone Forest on my visit to Kunming in 2018, this was still a good room in that I get my privacy. Hotel workers were nice in that they gave me more water and wanted to make my bed even though I didn't need it. I liked how it had a heater in there to keep me warm whenever the room got too cold. The thing that I was unsure of is how much freedom and accessibility I get in being able to cook things in the kitchen at times and I was confused about whether I was allowed to eat the food that the cook makes, or it is only for guests that order food and pay for it from him. Sometimes the cook is unpredictable in that I don't know when he comes to cook between the lunch and dinner hours. The front desk women were friendly and helpful in giving me information about certain things. I appreciate it when they loaned me a phone charger temporarily when mine broke until I can get a new replacement one. Thank You for that. The only thing I would have to say, is that it is too far from the city center from the train station in where I need to be in order to catch the train to Hekou and cross the border into Vietnam.”

A genuine mosquito-free garden and a large terrace, with unlimited drinks, snacks, fruit, and tea. Located on a small slope about 100 meters from Torch Square, it offers a quiet retreat amidst the hustle and bustle. Every room in the guesthouse has large floor-to-ceiling windows, is simple, bright, clean, and cozy. The overall temperature is between 10 and 20 degrees Celsius, very comfortable. You can sit on the terrace and in the first-floor garden and enjoy the blue sky, white clouds, and starry night. There are quite a few restaurants in the village, so ordering takeout is convenient. I heard that long-stay guests can use the guesthouse kitchen. The landlady is very nice. If you like a large outdoor space, you can book this place without hesitation.

Excellent stay. We had a pleasant and comfortable stay here. Everything's well adapted for traveling families. The rooms are spatious and clean. We even had a fridge and and a washing machine. That made it even more enjoyable and home-like. On the 7th floor there is a lovely lounge area and a nice terrace. The location is also amazing. The hotel is located in the heart of the city. There is a shopping mall nearby and lots of tasty food stalls just across the road. Note: Foreigners are perfectly accepted to stay here.

This was by far the BEST accommodation we stayed in China!! We booked two rooms because I'm travelling with my sister and her boyfriend. Both rooms were extremely clean, the best comfortable beds ever, hot shower, air con, all the toiletries were good quality and the staff were amazing!!!! They helped us out with everything!! Even though they don't speak English or any other language (like elsewhere in China), they were extremely helpful and we managed to communicate with the translator. We stayed two nights but we would have loved to stay longer which was not possible because visa's expiring soon. When we got there, they made us delicious noodles with beef and vegetables and my brother in law is still dreaming to get the same tasty noodles somewhere else in China 😊 We don't know the names of the hosts, maybe they are wife and husband (we are not sure) but surely this was the top accommodation and treatment we have received in China so we would like to thank you two again for everything you have done for us. We are sure your next guests will enjoy their stay at your place just the same as we did. Thank you from Sarah, Myriam and Fabio.

我們一家江蘇過來。這幾年江浙皖周邊住過不知多少民宿，就沒有一家這麼美好！兩張大床 房間寬敞 裝飾美麗彝族風情 最最最驚歎的是 太乾淨了！以前住店 甭管在哪 進去先濕巾一頓擦的人 這次完全被打動：桌面沒水印不油膩 床頭沒汗味 沙發一塵不染 洗手間不漏水也不堵水 熱水水壓奇大 哈哈哈 洗澡像洗車 5分鐘就洗完。男女主人更是禮貌又體貼。她家的蘋果味道不僅是甜是濃濃果香。

The unit is very spacious. There is a big living room. The master bedroom is big, too., with 2 small bedrooms Amenities are standard. The decoration is quite artsy. We stayed for a night. Price is quite cheap. for 3 bedroom unit. But no breakfast included. I am not sure if the location is considered good. There are some shops nearby. It's about 7 km from Stone Forest.

I found the guesthouse a lovely stay, with clean rooms, helpful staff, and good facilities. It's location is a bit far from the main city centre, however as a solo traveller who wanted to visit the beauty stone forest, it is very convenient and very close to the site.

Miły prosty hotel dla każdego, kto szuka tanie i wygodne miejsce do pobytu. Miejsce jest nieco daleko od głównej drogi i noc są naprawdę ciche, można nawet usłyszeć krykiety! Rejestracja była szybkia i gładka, a pani w recepcji profesjonalna i bardzo przyjazna. Śniadanie kosztuje 15 i można jeść tyle, ile chcesz.
