„We stayed here over a week and it was a great experience. Great service, very friendly boss and smiley cleaning team. The room itself is rather small, though, don't expect 40+ meters as mentioned in the listing, but overall it's okay. The location is amazing of course.”

„I recently stayed here as a Belgian Chinese traveler, and even though my Chinese isn’t very strong, I was welcomed with so much warmth. This hostel is a true hidden gem, tucked away from the typical tourist trails in a quiet part of the village. It’s the perfect location: right by the fields and some very trendy coffee shops, yet only a 5-minute scooter ride from the main bay and the best surf spots. The owners, Shuiku (水库) and Xiaoxiao (笑笑), really made my trip. Shuiku immediately helped me sort out a scooter and personally showed me where to find the best waves, while Xiaoxiao’s English is quite good, which made everything so much easier. They also pointed me toward some local restaurants that were all absolutely delicious. The vibe of the place is just great. It’s incredibly clean because the cleaning lady and Shuiku himself clean the place several times a day. I loved the design of the indoor chill-out area, though sitting outside to enjoy the tropical weather was just as good. There’s a washing machine which is super handy, and you can rent surfboards for a very fair, cheap price. Because the owners' friends drop by almost daily, there’s always a lively, authentic atmosphere. I met a great mix of foreign tourists and Chinese solo travelers trekking around the island by bike or motorcycle. Many Chinese couples and families where staying too, it is very kid-friendly too. I even ended up meeting a French girl there, and we spent a whole week surfing together. „一間在萬寧像家一樣的民宿。所有的工作人員全都很親切，提前一天就電話聯繫詢問入住事項，早上出門在走廊碰到會親切地問早，外邊在下雨主動詢問我需不需要借傘給我，期間我不小心把房卡弄丟了也是給我講沒關係。並且房間外面是一大片稻田，綠綠的很好看，離日月灣海灘很近，騎小電驢十來分鐘就到，民宿也可以租小電驢，十元一小時，真的很親民。最喜歡的是房間的燈很亮，並且很安靜。在這裏住了4天，真的獲得了很好的體驗。”
