„Big thanks to Sister Qiu for always responding to our inquiries and to the boss, Hongbo, for the warm hospitality and care. We had a very comfortable and fun four-day, three-night stay (Dec 27-30) in Snow Valley. The warm beds, hot meals, and enjoying all the entertainment activities in Snow Valley and Snow Village gave our group of four an extraordinary winter experience. At Xiongling in Snow Valley, we tried snowmobiling, snow tubing, skiing, and snow drifting (super thrilling!). **Friendly reminder**: Please wear sunglasses, a mask, and a snow hat. This will help prevent the cold snow from hitting your face when you're snow drifting. The snow hitting your face is incredibly, unbelievably cold! For the Yangcaoshan itinerary, I recommend buying tickets for the horse-drawn sled and taking the snowmobile all the way up the mountain. Hiking would be a very long and time-consuming distance. For the second half, we opted to hike down to Snow Village, and the snow scenery along the way was absolutely spectacular, perfect for photos. You can also buy a small sled to enjoy some exciting mini snow runs on the way down. **The only drawback**: The shower head in the bathroom had low water pressure, so it took a bit longer to shower.”

„波哥跟姐姐熱情周到，還沒來的時候微信聯繫就很暖心熱情，想知道什麼都可以問他們，從哈爾濱來的車也幫訂，到客棧是樣樣俱全，大廳開着小超市，什麼玩的用的吃的喝的都有都全乎！位置方便，離大舞台近，主街走會就到。在客棧裡頭還能吃上姐姐的免費凍梨凍柿子圖片，晚上還有宵夜，太舒服了！這的鍋包肉圖片特好吃，還有小燒烤（自己體驗了一把自個烤自個吃，老香了）最重要是住的安心，要啥都跟哥姐説，不小心落大巴上的東西也能給你要回來（在這裏也謝謝大巴車的工作人員，落水杯了當天就給拿回來了，感恩❤️）行程上不懂的也都會給建議，晚上經常能和其他客人一起圍桌嘮嗑，這次體驗非常不錯，下次來雪谷還來這住😁”

„We had a wonderful stay here. The owner is extremely kind and helpful. They helped us arrange transportation from Harbin to Snow Village & Snow Valley, and also back to Harbin, which made our trip very smooth and stress-free. They also arranged our snow activities at Bear Ridge, so everything was well taken care of. They were very accommodating and even taught us how to throw hot water in the cold weather — such a fun experience! The room was warm and comfortable, even when the temperature outside was very cold. The bathroom was equipped with a smart toilet, which made our stay even more comfortable. Breakfast was provided every morning and it was delicious. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here and truly appreciate the owner’s hospitality. Highly recommended!”

„We are a family of six staying at this resort and had a wonderful experience. The host was welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. The bathroom has hot water, which was very comforting in the cold weather. The resort is surrounded by beautiful scenery, including stunning frozen waterfalls. There are many fun activities available here such as frozen river fishing, ice skating, tubing slides, and more, perfect for families with kids. The resort provides no pork and no lard meals. They cook using vegetable oil and use separate utensils for halal food, which gave us great peace of mind. We ordered fish and vegetables, and the food was delicious. The price was very reasonable, only 312 yuan for 10 pax. For breakfast, we ordered egg fried rice at just 5 yuan per bowl. Highly recommended for families looking for a comfortable, halal-friendly stay with beautiful winter activities.”

„Staying in a snow-view room was absolutely stunning! The pictures I've attached are real, and frankly, they don't do it justice – seeing it in person is even more beautiful! The owners were incredibly welcoming and warm. The elder brother (Da Ge) took us to Xiong Ling (Bear Ridge), helped us shoot videos, and created some truly precious memories for us. We genuinely didn't want to leave this place. I carefully selected this guesthouse. I'd read some reviews saying it was quite a distance from the 'Big Stage,' and I was initially worried it might be too remote. But!!! Once we arrived, I absolutely loved this 'remoteness.' The surroundings are filled with beautiful, expansive snowy landscapes, completely free of any commercial feel – this is exactly the Snow Valley I had imagined! In the evening, Da Ge drove us to the Big Stage for free, and that area was indeed quite commercialized! So, I'm glad we chose this place. Right outside the guesthouse (pictures 5-9) are three slides that you can use freely! I compared it with other places, and this one had the most slides right at its doorstep, plus a swing. There's also a huge snowy area in front of the guesthouse. That afternoon, it was just my friend and me playing there, and we had an absolute blast! In the evening, Da Ge taught us how to do 'water splashing into ice.' He showed us hand-by-hand, and if it didn't work the first time, we'd try again. He even provided lighting to make sure we got great photos – it was truly heartwarming 😭 Oh! And the homemade dishes here were all delicious too! The stewed pork with vermicelli was so tasty we had it twice! And the portions were generous. This review might be a bit disorganized, I'm just writing as things come to mind, but it's all from the heart. In short, this guesthouse made our trip to Snow Valley absolutely perfect. We hope to see you again next time, okay? 😭😭😭”

„The soul of this hotel is the owner himself. He really had make the stay memorable and also exciting! The first day of our arrival, we were treated to making tang hulu (for free) that is sold everywhere in this cold city and after that he even demonstrated the making of the fireworks himself! The next day when we book a 雾松岭 (Wu song lin) package, we arrived at 9am there. O our amazement, he’s at the top greeting us, and learnt that that he was there since 7 am accompanying the morning group at sub zero temperature. He actually accompanied all the activities that we did, and also acted as a photographer, taking us to take the best shot! What was the most heart warming moment is that he actually accompanied my daughter who wanted to skid and ran after her afraid that she will fall! Truly impressed by his dedication. Also, we can do the 泼水成冰 （splashing water which turns into ice) activity for free, and was allowed to do multiple time till perfect. This is quite nice, since to our knowledge, some other places charge a price for this activity. At night, we decided to take dinner and he actually is the one that cooks the dinner. While initially we were skeptical about the place, we have decided to write this review to recommend people to patronize this place. While undoubtedly it was cold, our hearts were warmed by the kind hospitality. Very impressive and happy that we had chosen this hotel. For those considering if you should stay in Snow Valley 雪谷, we recommend this place — tip: they can even arrange a bus/ scenic transport to snow town. Very comprehensive service 👍”

„Fortunately, I chose to stay at Ruixue B&B for two nights this time, seizing the tail end of winter and appreciating the culture and scenery of the Snow Valley. First of all, I could feel the enthusiasm and friendliness of the boss lady from the phone call before check-in. She helped me book the bus ticket from Harbin to Xuegu in advance, and arranged the itinerary for Xuegu the next day and the ticket to Yanji on the check-out day. I am dazzled by reading Xiaohongshu, but I don’t have to worry about joining a ”bad” group and ruining my fun, nor do I have to spend extra time buying tickets myself. I can rest assured and let the B&B owner arrange the itinerary. Secondly, when we arrived on the same day, the young lady and her family were also very warm and hospitable. Not only did they give me a warm welcome, they also served me hot tea, which made me feel as if I was home instead of away from home. I could rest comfortably in the homestay, chat with them about everything under the sun, and learn more stories about life in Snow Valley (or just chat about daily life). Although it was our first meeting, I felt like I was happily getting along with friends I had known for years. The homestay room is warmly decorated and matches the photos. In addition to the warm beds, hot water is provided and there is a Dyson hair dryer. There is really nothing to say about the attentiveness of every detail! You don't have to worry about finding food, as it only takes about 5-10 minutes to walk to the main street. You can also choose to order food directly from the B&B. In addition to Northeastern specialties, there are many dishes that are not usually easy to see. The basil roe deer and sauerkraut shreds I tried this time are not only reasonably priced, but also very delicious and large in portion. It is a good choice without having to go out and get cold! As for the arranged Snow Valley entertainment itinerary, there are three projects in total, including soaking in the open-air hot springs in the snow at night (experience the stimulation of alternating hot and cold), Wusong Ridge (watching the beautiful rime and snow scenery on the top of the mountain, playing in the snow, riding a snowmobile, snow rafting, dragon boat, ice skating, etc.), and Yangcao Mountain (following the route crossed by the brave, taking a horse-drawn sleigh and snowmobile from the Snow Valley to the top of Yangcao Mountain). It can fully meet the expectations of southerners coming to the north for ice and snow, and there is no congestion in the snow town. I really thank the boss lady for her hard work again. From my personal experience of frequent travel, her meticulous and considerate service is definitely five-star. Although the drive from big cities (such as Harbin) to the Snow Valley is not short, the beauty of the Snow Valley in winter and the goodness of the Ruixue B&B are definitely worth experiencing in person, and I will definitely visit again if I have the chance!”
