Choć te drzwi mają antyczny urok, nie są zbyt wygodne w użyciu, na przykład długa ława. Obiad kosztował ponad 300 juanów, a kolacja z napojami dokładnie 400 juanów. Było oszczędne i pyszne, i było miłym zaskoczeniem podczas tej podróży. Dzieci nie były przyzwyczajone do kuchni Guangxi, ale bardzo im smakowały domowe posiłki przygotowane przez szefową. Here is a couple from Guangzhou. They usually don’t have any hobbies, they just like to deal with people, so by some strange combination of circumstances, they took over a small B&B in Yangshuo. The B&B is not big, but I hope it will make you feel like you are at home. Our inn has a small amount of free parking spaces, and all rooms have balconies. The balconies are equipped with smoking areas. You can sit on the balcony in your free time, bask in the sun leisurely on sunny days, listen to the sound of rain comfortably on rainy days, and stay in the room to rest comfortably on cloudy days. Life is so pleasant, welcome to your arrival~

„⸻ We made the best decision by staying in this hotel!! The owner is such a lovely lady – always greeting you warmly, helping out, asking if your room needs cleaning, and even bringing fresh fruit and water to your room. She’s awesome!! And the room – wow! The big window with the most amazing view of the mountains. We even got a free upgrade to the room on the highest level so we could enjoy the best view. Right in front of us was this huge balcony that we could also access for free. The room itself is really big and modern and has everything you need – including the best and most modern shower and toilet. So all in all, we can really recommend booking this place. It’s just a 5-minute DiDi ride to the city center in Xingping – but you can also get electric scooters from the hotel for free, and it only takes about 10 minutes to get into the city. Plus, riding the scooters there is sooo nice – so much fun!”

Our stay at 小山居 (Xiao Shan Ju) was hands-down the highlight of our Yangshuo trip. We spent five days in Yangshuo and tried two different accommodations… but let’s just say our hearts checked in and never checked out of 小山居. Yes, the location is a little more on the remote side, but honestly that’s part of its magic. It’s easily reachable by Didi or scooter, yet tucked away enough to feel like you’ve escaped into a quiet countryside village. They kept the charm of the old village house while giving it a modern, comfy upgrade. Bonus: the blanket was SO comfortable we literally flipped it over to find the brand because we wanted to buy it for ourselves. And then there’s Aimee—the soul of the place. Warm, thoughtful, impossibly accommodating… and an amazing cook. She can whip up both Western-style brunches and Chinese breakfasts, all delicious, but a special shoutout goes to her 葱油面. It was so good we shamelessly asked for the recipe, which she kindly shared. Her food was so addictive that even after we moved to our next accommodation, we still went back for dinner. If you’d like Aimee to cook for you, just let her know in advance—she buys her ingredients fresh from the market, and the veggies come straight from her garden! If you’re heading to Yangshuo, we highly recommend staying here. Aimee also gives fantastic local recommendations—every single one was a hit, never a miss, never even a “so-so”. We’d go back in a heartbeat. 💛

I had a wonderful stay here. Highly recommend this place. The owner is very helpful, friendly and happy to help! The staff are also great. I arrived In Yangshuo by boat and could not get a taxi for some strange reason, maybe due to roadworks and very busy time of day, as a result I quickly contacted them and asked if there was another way to get there as I could not get a taxi, and instantly got a response that the boss will come pick me up and in 5min the owner had come and picked me up from my location . The homestay is very close to Yulong river and bike rentals and electric scooter rentals are offered at affordable prices and it has a beautiful ride along the river , bamboo rafting is close-by too. The owner is very friendly and knowledgable and quickly gave me recommendations and suggestions of activities best to do nearby and how to get there. On my last day the owner also gave me a ride to the shuttle bus for Longji, refused to let me take a Didi! Very hospitable, Kind and good energy. The room was more spacious than expected. It was big, clean and great view! Definitely worth a visit and Ill be going back for sure. 😌

Ten pensjonat pozostawił mnie z mieszanymi uczuciami. Zacznijmy od zalet. Lokalizacja jest super dogodna: w samym sercu starego miasta, a jednocześnie w stosunkowo spokojnej okolicy. Jest blisko rzeki, więc można wybrać się na orzeźwiający nocny spacer, a w pobliżu znajduje się pyszna piekarnia/kawiarnia, której nigdy nie zapomnisz. Panuje w pensjonacie rustykalna i przytulna atmosfera, a pralnia, mimo ograniczonej przestrzeni, spełnia swoją funkcję. Są też koty i pies, z którymi można się swobodnie bawić. Łóżko było dla nas wygodne (trochę trudniejsze). Właściciele mówią po angielsku, więc można się z nimi bez problemu porozumieć. Są bardzo mili i pomocni. Jednak kilka rzeczy w tym pobycie bardzo mnie rozczarowało, zwłaszcza biorąc pod uwagę pozytywne recenzje, które czytałem (które, szczerze mówiąc, nie rozumiem, skąd się wzięły). Pokój był daleki od czystości. Widoczna była warstwa kurzu. Siedzenia na poduszkach były ogromne i ogólnie wyglądały na brudne. Łazienka z prysznicem nie była regularnie czyszczona, jak widać na zdjęciu. Ogólnie rzecz biorąc, wszystko w tym obiekcie wyglądało na przestarzałe i tandetne (chybotliwe krany w umywalkach, drzwi z ogromnymi szparami, przez które przewijają się wszelkiego rodzaju insekty i gigantyczne pająki...). Toaleta znajduje się tuż obok prysznica, co uniemożliwia zachowanie prywatności i sprawia, że ​​podłoga w toalecie jest przez większość czasu mokra (problem ten można by rozwiązać, montując porządne drzwi prysznicowe zamiast zasłony). Podsumowując, z przyjemnością opuściłem ten obiekt, ponieważ nie spełniał on moich standardów komfortu i higieny. **Don’t miss this gem!** What an experience! The breathtaking view of the karst mountains from our accommodation was nothing short of spectacular. Just a short 15-minute drive away, the charming Old Town awaits, brimming with delightful eateries and flea-market spots to explore. While I would recommend visiting during the off-season for a more peaceful experience, the lively atmosphere during peak times like CNY adds a vibrant energy to the area. Just a heads-up about the traffic; it can get a bit busy, especially on the way to the old town and near the scenic river, but it’s all part of the adventure! They have e-bikes for rent each day for 30rmb until 11:30pm. Our hosts were exceptionally welcoming and friendly. Their children were absolutely delightful, adding a personal touch to our stay. We particularly loved their sweet and sour pork—definitely a must-try! The room itself was a true retreat—gorgeous views and very clean. It was a pleasure to unwind in such a well-kept space. It will be awesome if they can convert the rooftop - add some more comfortable seating and make it a nice spot for relaxing comfortably as we spent ample time up there each day. Most of our pictures are from the incredible rooftop! All in all, our stay here was wonderful, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. If you’re looking for a beautiful blend of nature, hospitality, and local charm, this is the perfect spot for you!

This is a wonderful family run guesthouse, where you can enjoy peace away from the hustle of Xingping Old Town. Differently from other types of accommodation we have seen in Dahe Bei village, this guesthouse is a hidden gem with charme and character. The food was excellent and abundant, freshly cooked by the owner herself. The owner picked us up from the Dahe Bei ferry dock, organised an electric moped rental in Dahe Bei (we didn't see many on that side of the river) and gave us plenty of tips and suggestions for where to go and what to do around there, including a sunrise hike to a nearby mountain that you can reach directly from the guesthouse - if you're into hiking (it's a 1h walk uphill through pomelo and orange orchards, followed by a series of staircases), it's a great spot, as we found only a few photographers when we got up there. The ginger cat and the house dog are cute and extremely friendly, adding to the overall wonderful atmosphere. Our room was spacious and clean, with plenty of hot water for showers after a day of hiking or driving around to see the surroundings. If we were to travel again in this area, we would definitely go back. Highly recommended!

THE BEST OF A HOTEL + THE BEST OF A HOMESTAY Choosing LINJING HOMESTAY was a great decision! I recommend it 100%. THE BEST OF A HOTEL: Spacious, beautiful, bright room with all the amenities and impeccable cleanliness. The views were fabulous, the bed was wonderful (large, with a comfortable, soft mattress and very soft sheets), it also had chairs and a table to work at, and the Wi-Fi worked very well. I liked that there were natural plants, too. The bathroom was fantastic. The bidet water gun was a pleasant surprise. You can shower with very hot water and good pressure. Don't worry if the floor gets wet: the water-repellent tiles dry very quickly. There are disposable towels if you want to bathe in the river, but there are also soft cotton towels and non-slip slippers to use in the hotel. THE BEST OF A HOMESTAY: The hosts are a warm local family. I was touched by their kindness and hospitality. They helped me a lot and always gave me fruit and other nice things to eat. They were always willing to share a cup of tea. They also got me a motorbike at a very good price. And they let me use their washing machine for free. They even drove me to the station and dropped me directly on my bus. THE SURROUNDINGS: The location is excellent. It is a quiet neighbourhood where local families live. You meet very friendly people all the time. You just have to cross the bridge in front of the hotel to get to the old quarter. Behind the hotel there is a path leading up to a viewpoint that few people know about. The path is very well signposted and is perfect for watching the sunset.

The hotel is sandwiched between a restaurant and a retail shop. Its very noisy as there are many shops and restaurants just outside the hotel. Every day there's loud music till late at night. The room is spacious and overall clean. However, there's no elevator and you have to either drag your luggage up the stairs or get the hotel staff to help you. Plus you need to drag your luggage for 10mins to catch your didi from the main road. The restaurant next to the hotel has 10% discount and their beer battered fish was very yummy. Overall we enjoyed our stay here.

Jak na zachodnie standardy, to nie jest hotel więcej niż dwugwiazdkowy. Mały pokój i łazienka, tylko częściowy widok na rzekę i góry, zarówno z pokoju, jak i z dachu, i brak windy, mimo że ma cztery piętra. Zatrzymaliśmy się w kilku hotelach w okolicy Guilin, wybierając te ze średniej i wyższej półki cenowej. Hotel oferuje skromny pokój, ale w niezbyt niskiej cenie, moim zdaniem. Internet działał dobrze do około 19:00, a potem przestał działać całkowicie do końca naszego jednodniowego pobytu. Pomieszczenia ogólnodostępne, recepcja i dach są nieco zaniedbane. Zdjęcia i opisy sprawiały, że pokoje wyglądały znacznie lepiej niż w rzeczywistości. Łazienka jest tak mała, że prysznic jest niemal konieczny, siedząc na toalecie. Pokoje są tak małe, że konieczne było użycie szerokokątnego obiektywu typu „rybie oko”, aby wszystko zmieścić w kadrze, zwłaszcza łazienkę. Załączam dwa zdjęcia: jedno przedstawia pokój i widok, a drugie rozmiar łazienki. Z mojego doświadczenia wynika, że pokój kosztuje od 15 do 20 dolarów amerykańskich.

GREAT experience. Such a nice and helpful staff, we had a warm welcome and they were very keen on helping us during our journey in Yangshuo. The location is right in West Street and close by the river, with amazing views. The room was very confortable and clean, had AC. I definitely recommend! --- Super expérience. Le personnel est patient, aimable et surtout est prêt à vous aider sur n'importe quel sujet. L'hôtel est super bien localisé, la chambre est propre et confortable, avec la clim.
