„I like our room. The staff are very accommodative and they are all approachable. They gave good assistance if you encounter problems using the hotel amenities. Specialy to the girl name Hairgel she gave us a very good assistance during my partner stays in the said hotel. Nice and clean Hotel. We stay very comfortable during our 6 days accommodation. The place is near Terminal 1 and nearest mall like MOA and Ayala. Highly recommended if you are looking for a cheapest stat in Manila.”

„The room was so clean and smelled fresh when we entered. The management was also responsive even tho we only communicated thru email. The unit is complete with utensils, kitchen appliances and cooking equipments, they even have hair dryer and automatic washing machine. Its so convenient! No need to ask for a room card or key (which I find very incovenient) because the locking mechanism is electronic. And the best thing in this accomodation is that they have hot shower, perfect for a cold night. Its a 10/10 overall!. Highly recommend this place. Side note: Drinking water can be bought at the grocery adjacent to the main lobby.”

The hotel also offers nice facilities such as a rooftop restaurant, bar, and even a KTV area, which added to the overall experience. Despite being close to busy areas, the rooms were quiet, allowing for a relaxing stay. Overall, Luna Hotel offers excellent value for money. It’s a great choice for travelers looking for a budget-friendly, clean, and comfortable place with friendly service. I would definitely stay here again.”

„I stayed at Hotel Sogo Wood Street in August 2025 for a short layover, chosen for its proximity to Ninoy Aquino International Airport (just 1.2 miles away). The location is ideal for travelers needing a quick stop near the airport. Check-in was a bit slow, which was frustrating after a long flight. The lack of an elevator to the second-floor Deluxe room was a major hassle, especially with heavy luggage. The narrow metal stairs were difficult to navigate and felt unsafe. The Deluxe room was spacious and clean, with a decent bed, fresh-smelling sheets, pillows, and towels. The bathroom was clean, and I appreciated the provided toiletries and two bottles of drinking water. Free Wi-Fi worked well, but the TV was old and kept disconnecting from the internet, which was annoying. The air conditioning was a mixed bag—it cooled the room but was positioned on the left wall by the bed, blowing cold air directly on my head. I had to sleep with my head on the footboard to avoid getting a headache. The toilet also had a flushing issue, which was inconvenient. Overall, it’s a budget-friendly option with a great location for airport travelers, but the lack of an elevator, toilet issues, and poorly placed aircon detracted from the experience. I’d rate it 6.0/10—good for a cheap, short stay, but not ideal if you have heavy luggage or need reliable amenities. I’d consider returning for a quick layover but would hope for fixes to these issues.”

„A unique old hotel where some rooms have a car garage. Fast and satisfying service. There is no elevator for rooms on the second floor. So those bringing large suitcases will be helped by the hotel staff. What I like about this hotel is its security, where there are security guards who always guard and supervise every guest. I especially admire the friendly and attentive female security guards. For the room, I said it was okay because it was quite spacious, clean, and comfortable. I didn't try the breakfast so I can't write a review for it. This hotel is close to a small jeepney terminal and a night market, there are also many restaurants and malls nearby. Just a 10-15 minute walk. When I checked in, I was asked for a 5,000 peso deposit (very large). Since I didn't have enough pesos because I was leaving Manila the next day, when I said I was giving a deposit in Ringgit, dollars, or yen, they allowed me not to give a room deposit. I also don't understand why the deposit was so large. When I gave Ringgit and asked for a receipt, the officer at that time didn't give it and returned my Ringgit. It was very suspicious not to want to provide proof of receipt.”
