„I rarely spend my time writing reviews but the location of this hotel is in prime location located in middle of the mountain. It’s right next to the number 5 bridge which is dead center of the touristy area. After you book be sure to ask them for their WeChat so that you can communicate with you because they will come pick you up and drop you off before and after the trip. They carry all your luggage’s up and down the stairs. They are extremely nice and accommodating and the room is very clean. The view is absolutely amazing and the viewing deck is also very beautiful. Perfect for taking pictures. Not extremely crowded. For reference, I stayed in room 204. One small bed and one full size bed”

„Great hospitality with amazing views! The staffs were so helpful and friendly. I contacted them through wechat in advance and they provided directions on how to enter the village. They will also help to carry the baggage to the hotel as it is located up on the hill. We even got a free upgrade to one of their best rooms! I would say the view from our room was the best you can find in the village. Overall the room is also clean and comfortable, with a beautiful tub that allows you to enjoy the view. They even served us afternoon tea, late night dessert and a hearty breakfast. Would definitely recommend 👍”

„I booked this hotel as I had read good reviews. Indeed this B&B is impressive. The room is very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay there. There is even a bathtub next to the window with a view. You will need to contact the hotel owner prior to arrival at the village so that a porter will meet you at No. 6 风雨桥, which is located about 100 meters where the shuttle bus drop you at the entrance to the village. You will not be able to find your way to the hotel as the entrance to the hotel is rather hidden away. The two young chaps who picked us were extremely polite, cheerful and eager to serve. They carried our luggages where we walked to reach the station of a golf cart type of vehicle. You board the vehicle and alight at the first stop up the mountain (see picture 6). The simple breakfast fare of home-cooked noodle soup with minced pork, hard boiled egg, sweet corn and sweet potato was delicious. The soup base looked bland but it was very tasty. The location of this B&B is superb as you can walk down the slope to reach the village center in 10 minutes. Tip: we took the golf cart vehicle and travelled uphill and alighted at the end (Pastoral Sightseeing area) where there is roundabout for the vehicle to loop back to the terminal. It is recommended to alight here where you will see beautiful vast green pastures and lotus flowers were in bloom. You can then wait for the sightseeing bus (your entrance ticket would cover four sightseeing bus trips) at the opposite platform and it will bring you to the top viewing platform to see the whole village lighted up in the evening. To return to the hotel, you then take the sightseing bus back to the Pastoral Sightseeing area. From here you wait for the golf cart vehicle to transfer you back to the hotel. How I wish someone had posted these information on this Trip.com review platform as it was a bit confusing on how to take the different vehicles in the mountain. Lastly, thank you to the owner of this B&B for making our trip a memorable one.”

„Met by 小杰 at the East gate ticketing hall. He escorted me to the hotel carrying my luggage. Along the way, he gave an overall first hand information on the Miao village. Upon arrival , a hot drink was offered as it was very cold outside. 小兴briefed me on the places of interest, activities of the village and how to move around with the help of the shuttle bus. All the 小哥哥,小姐姐 are super nice, well versed at their works besides delivering their jobs professionally. The selling point of this hotel is the location; just a bit below the viewing platform, the view is superb. You don't need to rub shoulders with other tourists but you have the view to yourself. Thanks to 小杰, 小兴, 小丽 and another 小哥(whom I don't know his name) for their 5-star service rendered to me during my stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is planning to visit the Miao village.”

„Though it is in the centre of the town, foot path to hotel is narrow and uneven. room is clean and upgraded to facing the valley, which lighted at night. No food service in this establishment. To get here, from North entrance, take the bus to the end. then walk 400m along the river, wait at the ABC (agriculture Bank of China) for hotel staff to help you carry the bag. If you can not contact the hotel, proceed to next alley with few steps up, you see Fire Department and Firetruck, then turn left , there is a arch with Sign of Boyun hotel, turn right follow the sign up. not recommended for people with walking impairment /large suitcase/poor eye sight or rainy day. We had our suitcase deliver to north gate . 15rmb each.”

„We chose this hotel instead inside the miao village because accessibility ( guess its suited for the elders or tour groups) because we dont have to walk-up steps with the other hotels inside the village but I heard reviews the staff of the other hotels inside village will come pick you up and help you with luggage, anyway the impression of the hotel is very big, as with the rooms, Room is clean and the bed is comfortable, Water is quite strong in shower, Breakfast area is very big, the food is so so, due lots of dishes not hot enough, its cold may be the warmers the lids not closed, Overall its pleasant stay.”

„It was a wonderful experience. We got to stay at the most expensive room. The room was spacious having two bathrooms and a big bathtub. From the room, we got to see the panoramic view of the village. First and foremost, the service was excellent. There was a welcome drink and fruit, as well as rice cakes after coming back to the hotel. The staff helped us to carry our luggage to the bus stop too.”

„Very nice room and great view of the village from the room , I think this room type on the 5th floor (highest floor here, No. 501) is the best room and view of this hotel. Amenities is good. Toilet is smart toilet, we get the welcome fresh fruit in the room, staff is so friendly and helpful to travel in this village , we are so impress to stay here , only 1 thing is the weak point for us is breakfast is too basic (noodle and porridge) but overall is good and next time I need to back to stay here more To reach to this village, you should go to the north gate and take the bus after buying tickets to the village, then walk to the bridge No. 6 about 200 m. Then the staff of the hotel will help you to carry luggages to the your room but on check out date, he will bring your luggages to the bus station directly ^^”
