Great experience as the village is quite scenic and beautiful with great views from this hotel and near by , hosts are really friendly and welcoming. Breakfast options are good I must say as I like soft boil eggs and had no worries of not having to have scrambled eggs as a lot of people have complained. Parking is free . They also gave us our keys in a nice welcome box with instructions and some chocolates that was very thoughtfully prepared so full marks for that. The only concern I have is that Trip.com suggested a self catered kitchen which wasn’t there for preparing your food/dinner and also there was no microwave in the room which is extremely inconvenient. I think that’s the only negative as not everyone eats out in a restaurant and sometimes you’d get hungry at a later part of night and nothing is available. So next time I’ll definitely consider a hotel/lodge that has a at least a self catering kitchen.

Almost Perfect Stay at Hotel Alpenhof Absolutely stunning mountain view from the balcony of our suite. So breathtaking yet so serene. About 10 min walk down hill brings us to lively village of Grindelwald with all its shops n restaurants n cafes n supermarket. Cannot ask for a better location. Having said that, without a car, it can be quite challenging to take our luggages uphill to the hotel. Breakfast is another highlight of our stay. Fantastic selection of cheeses n eggs n bread n yogurt n everything. Delicious. Our suite is clean n comfortable n spacious. WiFi is stable. The only “negative” I have for our 4-night stay is that the glasses/mugs we used in our room were occasionally not cleaned for us after each day. It is a bit strange. All in all, I have no hesitation recommending this hotel to other travelers.

Great location just 3 mins walk from the train station (Grindelwald Bahnhof) and bus station. Nice and panoramic view from the window. Breakfast was great! The hotel is close to the city, shops, Coop and many other stores. Everything is just in the walking distance and don’t have to walk up the hill. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

We stayed at Eiger Lodge Chic as a couple, and honestly, the location alone won us over — it’s incredibly convenient, just a short walk next to the terminal. That made getting around a breeze and gave us more time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Some of the facilities were under renovation during our stay, but it really didn’t disrupt our experience. The place still felt calm, clean, and thoughtfully managed — you can tell they’re upgrading with the future in mind. Breakfast was simple, but everything served was fresh, tasty, and more than enough to start the day right before heading out. Sometimes it’s the straightforward things done well that make a stay feel grounded and comforting. Overall, a lovely, easy, and practical base for exploring the Jungfrau region. We’d happily return.

Very lovely hotel. I like the idea that it combines an elderly home together with a Hotel. Location is great, right next to the bus stop. Room is spacious and clean, its worth every penny i paid for

The hotel is located near Interlaken West train station, about a 10-minute walk. There is a Coop supermarket on the way, which is very convenient. Overall, the location is quite good. Check-in was fast and smooth, and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and it was a simple continental-style breakfast, but still nice and satisfying. The room was clean and well maintained. However, my room was located in the back section of the building. I chose this hotel mainly because it was advertised as having a mountain view. From the balcony, you can see the mountain… but only the edge of it 😂 Overall, a pleasant stay with good service and location, but the mountain view was a bit limited compared to expectations.

Przepraszam, że tak długo zwlekałam z wystawieniem recenzji, bo właśnie wróciłam do domu. Jesteśmy bardzo wdzięczni hotelowi Hey za uratowanie naszych wakacji w Szwajcarii! Pierwotnie zarezerwowaliśmy pobyt w Airbnb (aby doświadczyć pobytu w domu) w pobliżu dworca kolejowego Interlaken West. Ku naszemu przerażeniu, po zameldowaniu, mieszkanie było obrzydliwie brudne i cuchnęło zgnilizną. Co więcej, przed budynkiem trwały roboty drogowe, a ochrona apartamentu pozostawiała wiele do życzenia. Natychmiast zarezerwowaliśmy nasz pozostały pobyt w Hey i nasza podróż została uratowana! Obsługa, dżentelmen w okularach, zapewniła nam bezpłatne zameldowanie wcześnie rano i awans do najlepszego pokoju dla czterech osób — bez żadnych pytań! Dostaliśmy czysty pokój z najlepszym widokiem. Śniadanie było niesamowicie bogate. I to w znacznie niższej cenie niż Airbnb, które oferowało tylko spalone przyprawy, brudną, zepsutą toaletę i lepką, tłustą podłogę.

The hotel was located in the middle of the hill, just like many of the hotels in Grindelwald. There was free bus in the area so it was easy getting up and down. Yet, the bus service stops at around 6 or 7pm, and you will have to walk up the hill from the train station for about 20 minutes. Also, potentially because it was in the middle of the mountain or it was winter, it felt very dry in the middle of the night. It would be nice if there can be a humidifier in the room. However, the view of the room is absolutely worth it. You can look at mountains like Eigerblick just from your room and the breakfast buffet, and it is extremely breathtaking. The breakfast buffet included was decent, with fruits, bread, cereal, some hot food and drinks. In particular the eggs were very nicely done. The bathroom looks a bit old-fashioned and narrow, with slightly insufficient lighting, but overall it was clean and good. The service was generally good. We were greeted with great smiles and friendliness by the reception and staff at the breakfast buffet. Overall it was an amazing stay and I would recommend it:)

Clean room and nice view..friendly staff and delicious breakfast..near to interlaken west station..and near to coop and many shop and restaurant..i stay for 3 nights..the view very superb..

Stayed at Hotel Toscana for 2 nights (Nov. 13-15, 2024). One issue we had was we lost a necklace. We were wearing scarves so my sister and I left 2 gold necklaces at the table. We didn’t know there will be housekeeping as we’re only staying for 2 nights. All of us were out 10AM and went back 6PM. When we got back, 1 of the necklace was gone. We looked everywhere, under the mattress and bed, all sides of the table, inside the bathroom, and every side of the room, but it was gone. The receptionist was helful enough to check with her boss and the housekeeping but who would admit they stole something, right? I just hope whoever took it found a good use out of it. Other than that, the location is perfect, it’s within a walking distance (around 7-10min) to Interlaken West station. Lots of shops and restaurants in the area as well. The hotel room is equipped with kettle and glass cups, no mugs. No airconditioning unit but it was pretty cold during our stay so we just opened the window a bit and it was fine. It was a very quiet neighborhood with nice views of the mountain and people paragliding. The room looked clean the moment we entered, but while we were searching under the bed and tables, dust has piled up underneath, it was very dusty like it hasn’t been cleaned for months and they only sweep the visible areas of the floor. The bathroom smelled like pee even before we used it. I hope they improve these parts, the hotel’s not that bad if you’ve experienced staying there (in my opinion).
