The locations is nice, close to or in the grape valley, service is friendly, we stayed at the family room which is a duplex and had a good sleep. For the high price of 1.200 Yuan would have expected lights at entrance area of complex, more luxurious reception area (currently more Chinese boarding house style), bedside tables with lights, more than a basic breakfast. It’s a nice place for 300-500 max, for 1200 you usually get a luxury resort and service in China.

Shanshan is a small town and if you do come here, it would be to visit the Kumtaq desert. The desert is 15-20 minutes from the hotel, so is the Shanshanbei railway station. I recommend this hotel because of the service of the front desk staff, Ms Xiaoba who goes above and beyond to help. She was responsive on wechat and organised a car to pick us up, she willingly booked a taxi for as we couldn’t find the address to the night market on our DIDI app., she provided extra water and answered any questions with a smile. This is a new hotel so looks clean and fresh with a smart toilet. They even have tents/ tepees so if you have a kid, this is a welcome. I saw a room with spiderman and Barbie princess theme too. The breakfast has many Chinese options and they are well cooked and delicious. They do have a coffee machine. I’d stay here again if I were to revisit. Kumtaq Desert is worth a visit and the second golf cart/sightseeing mini bus drives you right to the end and brings you back to the second station. The other deserts we visited didn’t have this. The hotel's newly replaced carpet gives people a brand new feeling and is very comfortable. The front desk service is as warm, thoughtful and professional as always. My friends and I like living here very much. The hotel also has a free laundry room and gym. It is worth staying for friends who are on business trips. The hotel is located in the center of the county town, which is very convenient for travel.

The courtyard is stunning as soon as you enter. It's beautiful. When you open the door to the room, you love it. It's local style, clean, and well-equipped. There's a vineyard in the backyard, where you can pick grapes for free. The Turpan grapes are so sweet. You can enjoy the vineyard behind you by opening the door to the balcony. The front desk girl is very friendly.

We stayed one night at this homestay. It is very clean and modern. There is a very pretty tourist area nearby and a river. The noise level on the night we stayed was quite high for a few hours. It was from nearby hotels I think as there are many with bars. Our kids easily slept through the music and singing, but we adults did not. The noise stops by midnight though. Thos was a recurrent theme in a few places we stayed though in Xinjiang. Summer time os party time fpr many tourists without families. All in all it is a great, clean place to stay with exceptional service.

The feeling of the whole season is particularly good. The room is very large. The refrigerator is always a lot of bottles of iced mineral water. This Turpan hot dead cow city goes out to play for a day. It is too comfortable to drink a mouthful of iced water. The service of the whole season has been online to solve various customer needs. Check out and give a gift. It is Portuguese. Raisin experience is very good, and then Turpan lived in his home. The location is very good. The neighborhood is very prosperous.

Location is very good, there is a Marrybrown fast food next door, taste is very good, must go try out. Near by got a walking street “journey to the west culture”, there is a time square near by too. Breakfast is simple. Room size is good. Overall with the price, we are happy with it.

This 4 star hotel has a goid rating on Trip.com and I can understand why. However, I liken this hotel to a 20 year old luxury car such as an E36 7 series BMW or Lexus LS 430. Exceptional and glorious when new, but getting old and tired fast. On a superficial level the rooms look grand and sumptuous, but on greater scrutiny there are issues. One if these are the carpets, which are either in dire need of steam cleaning on a forensic level of thoroughness, or outright replacement. Some sections are worn and faded, while many odd bits and pieces can be found (and felt with bare feet), that seem to have escaped the attention of the room staff, e.g toothpicks, other miscellaneous refuse deposited by previous guests. I booked a continental double room, for $68 AUD per night and there was a misalignment of the door with its frame. Large enough to see through to the outside! The room contained a sofa Comfortable enough but with fabric badly worn away. The white veneer paint on tables has seen better days. Having said all this, overall, the hotel offers rooms of a relatively high standard. Ornate furnishings, large, extremely comfortable beds and pillows, a huge bathroom with sufficient water pressure and responsive hot water on demand (bathroom has a smart lighting arrangement which switches on via a sensor). There are a dozen individual controls for room lighting. Lots of cupboards and drawers and powerpoints where needed. There is a gym but for some undisclosed reason is currently closed, of February 2024. Is a buffet style restaurant with several guests dining in it which looked very well staffed. Reception will go out of their way to give assistance with arranging tours, ordering taxis etc, and try to ensure guests are satisfied. In summary, the hotel looks good and to some extent is good, but may not be worth paying $50 US a night to stay in and was a little disappointing.
