Great location, fast wi-fi, comfortable bed. Laundry room was a really nice bonus. As for the downsides... On the first day people kept entering my room with their keycards, and not all of them were hotel workers, which was creepy. One night some neighbours were **********. Good for them, not so good for my sleep — so the soundproofing could be better. And I also got allergic to the shower gel which never happened before. So it really was a 50/50 experience

After traveling extensively in China, returning to Spain highlighted some noticeable differences, particularly in Madrid. While the city and its infrastructure may feel a bit outdated compared to other global hubs, the Hotel Madrid Chamartín Affiliated by Meliá was a decent and comfortable place to stay. The hotel’s location is its strongest feature—it’s directly across from Chamartín Train Station and its adjacent subway station. While the train station and subway facilities are not the most modern or impressive, the convenience of being so close to transportation hubs is a definite plus. The street leading to the hotel is a bit unusual, set on a slope, but it’s manageable. The room was clean and functional, though slightly dated. The beds were comfortable, albeit with older spring mattresses that could use an upgrade. Despite the slightly worn feel, the room provided a comfortable space to rest after a day of exploring or work. The standout feature of this hotel was undoubtedly the breakfast. It was absolutely amazing, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options that catered to different tastes. It was easily the highlight of my stay and set a great tone for the day. The service was also pleasant and friendly, which is a nice touch, especially given the sometimes lackluster service standards in Spain. The staff were helpful and made the stay more enjoyable. Overall, while the Hotel Madrid Chamartín Affiliated by Meliá may not be the most modern or luxurious option, it offers good value for its location, a comfortable stay, and an exceptional breakfast. If you’re looking for a convenient and reliable place to stay near Chamartín Station, this hotel is a solid choice.

Great location, very nice breakfast, there is also a Starbucks right outside the enterance which is nice. Literally a two minute walk to Gran Via street where you can find anything you could possibly need. The staff was polite, the rooms were clean and very quiet at least on the 5th floor :) Overall would recommend and come back again. Gracias Madrid!

The stay was quiet due to double windows and super convenient as its close proximity to Atocha station Make sure online check in first to get the building entrances code Or create a Whatapps to connect with the reception so that access outside service time is secured it is convenient when the guests do not have normal phone call plan. The reception lady was nice with goos spoken english. Highly recommended

W pokoju nie było absolutnie żadnych udogodnień. Trzeba poprosić recepcjonistę, a i tak nie otrzymują od razu podstawowych rzeczy. Recepcjonista nie był wcale przyjazny, zimny i nieprzyjazny. To nie było przyjemne doświadczenie. Pokój był dość mały, ale osobiście nie stanowiło to problemu. Wygodne łóżko i przestronna łazienka. Ciepła woda działała 24/7. Pokój był sprzątany codziennie, ale zauważyłem, że był zakurzony. Jedna z moich rzeczy osobistych uległa uszkodzeniu podczas sprzątania, ale nie zgłosiłem reklamacji. Codziennie o 12:00-1:00 przyjeżdża śmieciarka i będzie głośno, jeśli pokój wychodzi na ulicę. Hotel oferuje przechowalnię bagażu. Wystawiają bilet na zwrot rzeczy. Lokalizacja: 10 minut spacerem do stacji metra Canal, skąd można dojechać do centrum miasta. W pobliżu nie ma dużych centrów handlowych, tylko małe sklepy i mnóstwo barów/restauracji.

Świetna temperatura i ciśnienie wody. Toaleta raczej mała. W sam raz dla osób podróżujących samotnie. Łóżko może być twarde, jeśli to nie Twój gust. Izolacja akustyczna jest przeciętna, ale to stary budynek, a cena jest rozsądna. Przyzwoite na krótki pobyt.

La verdad me parece bien ,aunque algunas veces tienen precioso un poco caros tiene una ubicación estupenda y las instalaciones está bien

The apartment was very central in Chueca, in walking distance to the night life. It was clean and tidy. The street is very noise at night until late and early morning with the opening of the café just in front.

how much I love Spain is how badly I was frustrated by the poor service provided via one of the telephones they left for contact upon arrival. The guy on the phone was really irritable and if you don't speak Spanish be ready for feeling stupid, dumb, and unwelcome. Up to 7 tourists arrived by 3 pm and we were all trying to get the formularios on our whats app to eventually get into the rooms but the codes weren't working in the beginning. Complete chaos. I won't dwell into the room conditions (the smell, the bed, the patio view), putting 5 stars to that because I can tolerate A LOT as long as the room ain't have living objects in it. I didn't see any cockroaches so it was fine in the end. Plus a good wifi connection, perfectly cleaned shared bathroom. See, I can put up with many things - so imagine how bad the service was to spoil the stay even for me. In my background they usually say that for this level of quality and an unmatching price the reception is considered to ”kiss clients' a**es” (I don't support this discourse). Here - ... vice versa.
