This hotel is not only near Calton hill and Edinburgh castle,but also on the back of Princess street,very quiet.I accidentally dropped my passport there,they found and kept it for me till I went back,very thoughtful of them.

Ibis Edinburgh Centre Royal Mile - Hunter Square is indeed a real surprise. It exceeds the boring standard of Ibis. We decided to stay at this hotel due to its location. As Diamond member, the hotel upgraded my room and provided all necessary welcome package. Thumbs up 👍! I didn’t expect this from Ibis. The breakfast was extremely rich and good. Another thumbs up! Some deficits to point out: (1) We found bugs in our room, the next day housekeeping did excellent cleaning, (2) The window was a massive issue, it couldn’t be opened widely (until ＜ 1cm). Probably Ibis management can pay better attention in future. Last but not least, front desks and other staffs were very friendly. ☺️

Ponieważ zarezerwowaliśmy pokój bardzo wcześnie, nie jestem pewien, czy to był błąd z mojej strony, czy ze strony hotelu. Mój przyjaciel i ja zarezerwowaliśmy pokój z dwoma łóżkami, ale wszystkie pokoje na zdjęciach miały dwa łóżka dla jednej osoby! Kiedy się zameldowaliśmy i weszliśmy do pokoju, zobaczyliśmy, że to tylko duże łóżko, więc od razu poszliśmy do recepcji, aby zgłosić ten problem. Po zaledwie dziesięciu minutach zmieniono nam pokój na pokój z dwoma łóżkami! Dziękujemy za Państwa aktywną pomoc! Doceniamy!

Trochę małe, ale świetne w tej lokalizacji, można łatwo dojść pieszo do atrakcji turystycznych. Stayed at St Christopher’s Hostel, Edinburgh for a night and it was a good budget choice. The location is excellent, right in the city centre and close to the Old Town and main attractions. Check-in was easy and the staff were friendly and helpful. The dorm was basic but comfortable enough for a short stay. It can get a bit noisy, so earplugs help. Bathrooms and common areas were generally clean considering how busy it is. Overall, it’s a social, well-located hostel—great for meeting people and exploring the city, but not ideal if you want total quiet. Perfect for a short stay in Edinburgh.

This hotel is amazing! As you can see from the photo, the view was beautiful!!! Also, I can't forget how fluffy their pillows were, haha. I'm excited to book a room at this hotel this summer.

The customer service is super great, the room location is awesome with the nice view from outside. Very convenient to take bus and train just right outside the hotel!!! That’s is so so so convenient for me and my friend .

The biggest issue is the excessive noise after 11 PM. The nearby disco and nightclub open til 3:00am. from 11 PM to 3 AM, with drunk people talking loudly on the street. The room windows are not double-glazed, so it feels as if you are right on the street. At 6 AM, the garbage truck adds to the noise while collecting trash. Basically, if I hadn’t only slept for two hours due to the noise on the first night, there would have been no way to sleep at all on the second night. The hotel provides earplugs, but they are completely ineffective. I hope they can replace the windows with soundproof glass.

To dość rozczarowujący pobyt. Mam nadzieję, że dostaniemy odpowiednie odszkodowanie. 1. W łazience nie ma podstawowych kosmetyków, nawet mydła do rąk. Musieliśmy pójść do recepcji, żeby zapytać, gdzie dostaliśmy balsam do rąk i powiedziano nam, że działa jak mydło?!? 2. Śniadanie nie jest gotowe o 7:00. Śniadanie powinno być serwowane od 7:00 do 10:00. Pierwszego ranka śniadanie nie było kompletne, ponieważ szef kuchni przyszedł do pracy późno. (Zdjęcie przedstawia to, co było dostępne dla gości). Musieliśmy wyjechać, żeby zdążyć na autobus wycieczkowy, więc prawie nic nie zjedliśmy. Następnego dnia śniadanie nie zostało podane z powodu problemów z gazem. 3. Sprzątanie pokoju nie było kompletne. Sprzątanie pokoju ograniczyło się do pościelenia łóżek i wymiany ręczników. Kosze na śmieci nie zostały opróżnione, a papier toaletowy nie został uzupełniony.

Pros: Great location, within easy walking distance to most Edinburgh attractions, such as Edinburgh castle, royal mile, princess street, Beverly station, grass market and so on. Friendly staff, relatively new building and facilities. Cons: the room cannot be ventilated as the window is fixed. My room was very smelly, smells like dogs.
