My stay with the ibis hotel was somewhat mixed with both positive and negative. On a positive, the accessible room that I had booked was of a good size and the main bedroom area was clean. The staff on arrival were helpful and provided me with all necessary information upon check in. Sadly, I was disappointed when ordering from the hotel resturant. My son wanted a pizza and the menu provided a list of three types. When ordering, I was told that there was only one type which wasn’t listed on the menu. I found the food to be of substandard which is disappointing given the price. Equally on check out, I advised that the bathroom had a build up of dirt and hair around the shower tray. I was told “apologises, this is a housekeeping issue”. I voiced my disappointment regarding the food to just be told “sorry”. Lastly I expressed my disappointment that I was charged £12.99 per person for a breakfast buffet. I felt this was a bit steep considering my under 5 ate half a croissant. The front desk only advised that usually they did not charge for under 5’s and would need to take this up with the app I booked to is stay through. No solution or refund were offered.

Ibis Styles Glasgow Central is a good location to stay should you intend to layover in Glasgow. It's about 10 minutes walking distance from Glasgow Central Station and within 15 minutes from fast food eateries and shopping places. Rooms are clean and basic amenities are provided for. Breakfast is good and incorporates a mix of international and English cuisines. HOWEVER, I have had a bad experience regarding a certain payment. I booked this hotel via Trip.com and have prepaid for my stay. When I checked in on 17/7, I was told by the receptionist of that day that my card details were needed. I was assured that there would be no deduction performed and that the details were only required should there be incurred damages in my room during the stay. Yet, on the same day evening, I received a notification that 143 pounds had been deducted. I questioned the receptionist of that day and was reassured, and I quote: ”There was this transaction made to confirm that your card is not a dunce and is payable.” The next day, before checking out, I reconfirmed with the receptionist of that day (18/7) if the money would be refunded to me. After checking on their end, they said that the money will be refunded. This morning (19/7), I have just received another notification that the status of the 143-pounds transaction has changed from pending to approved. I am disappointed and upset regarding this, and I would like to urge future travellers to be wary of this incident.

Hotel był czysty, a pokój przestronny. Pokój był dostępny dla osób niepełnosprawnych, ale zauważyłem, że toaleta była zbyt blisko małej umywalki, która była dostępna dla osób niepełnosprawnych. Ale kran w umywalce nie działał!! Dlatego jeśli ktoś na wózku inwalidzkim znajdował się w tym pokoju, nie mógł skorzystać z umywalki, ponieważ normalna umywalka jest za wysoka i za daleko; i nie można było usiąść na toalecie prawidłowo! Działała tylko jedna winda i ta zwolniła podczas naszego pobytu. Nie byłem pod wrażeniem personelu, który pracował na zmianie śniadaniowej. Z 3 młodych pań pracujących przy płycie grzewczej, tylko 1 miała włosy związane powyżej ramion. Pozostałe włosy były związane, ale zaczesane do przodu na ramiona. To nie jest odpowiednie w części gastronomicznej. Wybór śniadań był świetny, duży wybór i dużo. Lokalizacja była wspaniała, bardzo centralna w stosunku do większości rzeczy, które chcieliśmy zobaczyć w ciągu 2 dni naszego pobytu. Większość personelu była bardzo pomocna i przyjazna, szczególnie zastępca kierownika, który pomagał w zamrażaniu okładów z lodu, aby utrzymać insulinę zimną dla mojego przyjaciela. Niestety w pokoju nie było lodówki, co w przypadku grupy Hilton uważam za raczej kiepską obsługę. Skorzystałbym z tego hotelu ponownie ze względu na lokalizację i cenę.

Qualidade do serviço de atendimento péssima. Experiência de cliente confrangedora.  Desorganização e caos no pequeno almoço e com reservas para refeições. Pedido de limpeza solicitado, também não apareceram.  Apenas a localização como ponto positivo literalmente.

I came here with my family for a 4 days holiday trip. Thw hotel is very nice, tidy, staff are very friendly. Booked a falimy room for 3 including a 3 yers old child but get a single ber extra 😉 which made my wife little off. Otherwise the hotel is 10/10. The main bus station is just 2.5 km away from the hotel. A bus stop right outside. Other transpot servives are close to the hotel as well. University of Glasgow and Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum is 5 minutes walking distance.

Could be better..we wish that the receiptionist have more knowledge on assisting customer regarding Glasgow activities and transport. Other than that everything better than our London stay..affordable stay but complete..just amenities we need to request

A comfortable hotel and good value for money. However finding it was an unexpected challenge. Walking from Hyndland station what appeared to be the hotel appeared as I passed the hospital on the left. But where was the entrance? No signs along the footpath, so turned left onto Great Western Road to arrive at a petrol station. I could see the Leonardo , but again no entrance and no obvious way to find one. So, off I set back to the road where the hospital was located. I could see the hotel but no sign of any reception. Eventually I walked round the back and found my way in. Only the following morning did I discover that there was a pedestrian cut through to the petrol station I've been to many hotels in my 73 years, but this one went out of it's way to play hard to find. Maybe the owners assume everyone will arrive car and their satnav will guide them . My advice to the owners. Put some signs up

Nice little hotel walking distance to the heart of Glasgow. Room super small can only fit 1pax. With a medium luggage & a backpack on the floor, not much room to walk. Good for 1/2 nights just for sleep/rest. Nice to have charging ports just next to bed. No table to put things at all. Bathroom very small even for a small Asian woman like me. I keep hitting myself while showering 😅. Serve very basic purpose hotel. Can be quite noisy at the corridor just outside room as sound insulation not the best.

Much more basic than expected. Bed was made up of two singles which barely stayed together through the night. Tea and coffee facilities were poor as were the toiletries. Not worth the price at all. Breakfast at £14 per head was totally overpriced. Food was luke warm and very bland. Will not be back.
