„Cover most of the basics extremely well. Great friendly service staff at reception , on 2nd floor. Nice simple friendly helpful bar with a good bartender call Wu Hao. Went out of his way to make a cocktail not on the menu for my wife . Breakfast is ok, again good friendly staff . Only drawback is the entrance is just a lift along a busy main road with 2 bus stops . Very difficult to unload on arrival .”

„I truly enjoyed my stay at Downtown Novotel Guiyang. Special shout out to the front desk staffs Bubble, Kino and 3 more. They did their best to accommodate my requests throughout my 1 week stay there. Especially Bubble she helped me get my cold medicine when I was unwell. I'll come back to stay if ever I'm there. Also it's location was quite centralised.”

„I've always loved the Storm Pool & Spa in Milan, and now I've found a similar experience right near my home in Guiyang! You need to book in advance with the front desk; each session is half an hour. When checking in, they gave us a small gift, some snacks, and a Guiyang landmark fridge magnet. The Olympic Sports Center is nearby, and if you're craving BBQ, there's a place just a short walk downstairs. After our swim, we had some BBQ and bingsu (shaved ice) – it was a perfect way to end the day before heading back. Breakfast is served until 12 PM and has a great variety of food. What a happy weekend!”

„Nasz ostatni pobyt w pokoju 1515 hotelu na 3 noce od 22 marca był bardzo zadowalający i doświadczył ciepła i doskonałej obsługi od frontowych recepcjonistów i personelu służby pokojowej. Ustalenia na obiad dostarczone od 7:00 AM do Północ były super i mogą dodatkowo pomóc zaspokoić większość podróżnych z elastycznością czasu, duży plus. Jako para z surową dietą wegetariańską, ciepła usługa odpowiedzialna, aby zaspokoić nasz specjalny wniosek o dostarczenie dodatkowych świeżych wegetariańskich gorącej zupy z nutą przez trzy dni były wdzięczne i docenione. „My family of three stayed four nights at this hotel in early September of 2025 and enjoyed every moment. The hotel is at a perfect location, right next to a large shopping mall with numerous restaurants. It is close to a subway station, a tourism hot spot ( “White House”) for photos, and not far from the north high speed railway station. The hotel rooms are clean, comfortable; they are all above 48 floor with beautiful view of the city. The staff are extremely friendly. The breakfasts are simple, but delicious. The hotel also provides free evening snacks between 9:30 and 11:00 pm. A highly recommended place to stay in this beautiful city.”

„The hotel has a high-altitude lounge with a bar where you can enjoy drinks, and they even provide drink vouchers, which is really convenient if you want a beverage without having to go downstairs. The transportation downstairs is very convenient, with a subway station nearby. The service is also very warm and friendly; they were very enthusiastic in answering our questions about local attractions and how to get around, which was great. Right across the street is a fountain, so you can take a stroll there if you're bored in the evening without having to go too far. It's also only about 600-700 meters from Minsheng Road. The hotel's decor is very new, and the facilities are complete. The only minor drawback might be that it's not a standalone building, so the elevators can be a bit slow. They offer free parking, which is very friendly for those traveling by car.”

Their service was exceptional, and they were all gentle, patient, and incredibly enthusiastic. The check-in process was very efficient and skilled, with no lengthy waits, and their operations were professional and quick, saving us a lot of time. Whenever we had any questions during our stay, Kitty would answer them patiently and thoroughly. Her attitude was kind and sincere, and her thoughtful and comprehensive service made us feel incredibly warm, instantly relieving the fatigue from our journey. The hotel's location is excellent, making travel very convenient. The surrounding transportation network is extensive, so whether you're taking a taxi, driving, or using public transport, it's very easy to get around. There are also plenty of options for dining, entertainment, and shopping nearby, making it suitable for both business travel and leisure stays. The hotel's hygiene is impeccable. Public areas are clean, bright, tidy, and orderly, and the guest rooms themselves are spotless, with no dust or odd smells in any corner. Additionally, the hotel breakfast is nutritious and diverse, with a wide variety of dishes. The balance of meat and vegetables, staples, desserts, and beverages is perfect, and the ingredients are fresh with excellent flavors, satisfying different tastes. We enjoyed a satisfying breakfast every day. All hotel staff are polite, friendly, and provide attentive service, contributing to a comfortable and warm overall atmosphere. Considering the service, location, hygiene, facilities, and dining, this hotel offers excellent value for money. We will definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit!”

„Sadly I do not have pics with me of the room. The rooms is semi AI. It’s everything like the photo. Except no idea why the sink always had flies that I had to flush down and the sewage smelt bad the first night. We spent 4D3N here. Subsequently we left the room key In and when the air was circulated it’s okay. Breakfast was full of surprises. Some were not repeated. The hotel is clean and the beds pillows quilts were super soft and comfortable. One of the best sleeps I have in China. Really comfy. Every level by the lobby would have a table of water for guest to bring along. It always gets topped up. They have up to 4 washing machines and dryers however the dryers should get replaced as it doesn’t dry clothes efficiently. Even a pair of undergarments and socks on high heat for an hour, plus would not dry up. Other than this there’s nth else to pick on. The hotel even has a balcony for you to look at the stars. There is also a bar that would provide cocktails and coffee for afternoon break or evening drink every room is entitled to 2 coupons that you can utilise on. The guy was not very friendly and doesn’t seem to really wanna answer our questions on the menu. I wish he’s attitude would improve.”

This time, I stayed at your Guiyang branch, and here are my impressions: 🏨 Hotel Impression: The facade and lobby were a bit smaller than I expected (the photos on Trip.com might have been slightly exaggerated 🤫), but the room facilities were quite good! Modern and minimalist, and the bathroom was clean too. Natural light was decent during the day 📸. There are many restaurants on the street right outside the hotel, making dining quite convenient. ⚠️ Heads-up on Potential Issues: The rooms facing the street can indeed be a bit noisy, but the hotel provides earplugs! This definitely earns a bonus point 🌟. 🚄 Shuttle Service: • Free drop-off in the morning ✔️ • Free pick-up in the afternoon ✔️ (Remember to book pick-up 1 hour in advance and drop-off 0.5 hours in advance! Don't assume you can use both services; it depends on your train schedule.) I personally experienced the pick-up service, and it was super smooth. Unfortunately, since I was taking an afternoon train, there was no drop-off service for me 😭. 🏃‍♀️ Walking Test: It says 15 minutes to the North Station... but! You know how mountainous Guiyang's 8D terrain is 😵. Dragging luggage uphill and through underpasses was brutal! Why aren't there elevators?! 💢 💕 Summary: Despite the minor drawbacks, overall it still lives up to Atour's usual high standards. It's especially suitable for those traveling by high-speed rail!”
