„First and foremost, I have to commend the hotel staff; their service attitude is truly exceptional! From the moment I walked in to check-in, the front desk staff were gentle and patient. The check-in process was quick and efficient, with no long waits, and they proactively informed me of details like breakfast times and elevator locations, which was incredibly thoughtful. Throughout my stay, any questions I had were answered with enthusiasm and meticulous care, and their response time was very fast. The entire service was consistently gentle and attentive, without any perfunctory gestures, making me feel very much at home. Secondly, the hotel's cleanliness is absolutely impeccable! The bed was spotless, the bedding soft and dry with no strange odors, and the pillows and mattress were just the right firmness, making for a particularly comfortable stay. The wet and dry separation in the bathroom was very well executed. Even the window sills were sparkling clean, and the overall environment was neat and bright, which made me feel very secure and comfortable. Furthermore, the hotel's location is excellent, making travel convenient, and the surrounding area is quiet. Overall, the value for money is outstanding. The high-quality service and clean environment truly made for a fantastic experience! The next time I'm in this area, I will definitely choose this hotel again, and I highly recommend it to all my traveling friends.”

„This was my first time staying here, and overall I was very satisfied. When I first arrived, I didn’t have high expectations since the lobby is not located on the ground floor. However, once I went up to the 4th floor, the lobby felt spacious and luxurious. The check-in process was fairly standard, taking around 10 minutes. The staff had limited English skills, and there was no warm welcome as you might expect from a four-star hotel. However, since this is in China, this may simply be the local standard. I stayed in a room for three people. The room was not very spacious, but still acceptable for three large suitcases. One strange thing was that only two towels were provided, and even until check-out, they were never replenished to three, despite the room being booked for three guests. The room heater worked well. There was no bidet in the toilet, and the shower’s hot water was sometimes inconsistent, occasionally turning cold unexpectedly. The TV channels were limited to local Chinese channels only, and the TV was not a smart TV. Breakfast was quite varied and tasted good. The location is excellent — about a 7-minute walk to Zhongyang Street, a 2-minute walk to Sophia Cathedral, around an 8-minute walk to the nearest metro station, and the hotel is directly connected to a mall next door, making it very convenient for shopping and visiting the supermarket for daily needs. Overall, it’s a fairly good option. If I visit Harbin again, I would consider staying at this hotel again, especially considering the reasonable price for such a strategic location.”

The hotel is very easy to get to and located right where the Chinese Baroque street is. The staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and does not smell. The amenities are well equipped. The beddings are clean and comfortable. The O.A Smith water dispenser was very convenient and easy to use. The lighting control was easy to use and scene settings were thoughtful. The room was equipped with Xiao Du AI voice control which was nice to have. Overall the experience was very pleasant. Would recommend.

Being situated in the city center, the hotel provides easy access to the railway station, airport shuttle stops, and popular attractions such as the Songhua River, Flood Control Memorial Tower, and Zhaolin Park. Pros: Great location, very close to Central Avenue, Zhaolin Park, and Saint Sophia Cathedral, making it convenient to visit anytime. Taxis are easily accessible right outside the hotel. We stayed in a duplex family room, which had a nice decor and two large beds, offering separate spaces perfect for a family. Cons: Our room was on the first floor, and there were some insects. The window faced a small street, so passersby could easily see into the room. The bathroom was poorly ventilated and had a very loud flushing sound, making it awkward to use if someone was sleeping. Breakfast was very ordinary; the Chinese dishes were acceptable, but the Western options like cakes, bread, milk, and cereals were quite poor. The afternoon tea was very basic with not much to eat, and I didn't see the evening congee, so I can't comment on that.

This is my first time traveling to China and the first time I was very impressed, both the accommodation and the people. This hotel welcomed me very well, provided tea, the staff were smiling, even the housekeeper was lovely. The hotel is clean, beautiful, near the main road and many important places, easy to travel. If I have a chance to go to China again, I will definitely stay here again.

I stayed at Lizun Hua Sheng Hotel (Sophia Cathedral Branch, Central Street, Harbin) from January 26 to January 31, 2026, and overall had a very good experience. Location (4/5)
The location is very convenient, especially for exploring Central Street and visiting Sophia Cathedral. It’s easy to walk to many attractions, shops, and restaurants. Transport connections are also reasonably accessible. It’s not completely perfect, but for most travelers the location will be more than good enough. Cleanliness (5/5)
The room and common areas were very clean and well maintained. Housekeeping was consistent, and towels, bedding, and amenities were always fresh. I didn’t notice any unpleasant smells or dust during my stay. Service (5/5)
The staff were friendly, polite, and helpful throughout my stay. Check‑in and check‑out were smooth, and any questions I had were handled quickly. They were also patient and tried their best to assist with local information and simple requests. Facilities (4/5)
I stayed in the Huasheng Cozy Double Bed Room, which had a 65‑inch TV, a down duvet, a zero‑pressure mattress, and a humidifier. The bed was comfortable and the humidifier was especially useful in Harbin’s dry winter air. Overall the facilities were good, though there is still some room for minor improvements, such as adding a few more storage options or small conveniences in the room. Overall
This is a comfortable and clean hotel in a great area of Harbin, with excellent service and solid facilities. I’d recommend it to both business and leisure travelers who want to stay near Central Street and Sophia Cathedral.

One of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had — the service here is truly exceptional. We arranged for car pickup from Yabulixi Train Station, and the hotel team was already waiting when we arrived (in -10°C weather!). 小王 and the driver (I suddenly forgot his name) helped us with our luggage and made sure we were warm and comfortable right from the start. Special praise goes to 小王 and the driver, who went above and beyond in every possible way. She recommended activities for us (ATV rides, camel rides, photo taking with the white fox, etc.), and both she and the driver personally drove us to the locations, waited for us, and sent us back to the hotel. They even drove us to Sun Mountain for skiing (even stayed to help us find an instructor first before leaving) the next day. 小王 also offered a complimentary half-day extension of the room just so we could store our luggage while skiing, and she pre-booked all our activities and ski tickets during the drive. Everything was so fuss-free — she took care of every detail for us. The hotel room was clean, comfortable, and decent in size. When we mentioned feeling a bit chilly, the front desk immediately sent a heater to our room and even set it up for us. 小王 surprised us again with some complimentary breakfast dishes too. Though the breakfast buffet didn’t include coffee, when I asked the staff, they kindly provided instant coffee — another small gesture that showed their attentiveness. There’s a convenience store (closes at 10pm) connected to the hotel, and another shop next door where you can rent ski suits and helmets — very convenient. At the end of our trip, 小王 and the driver personally sent us back to the train station. The level of hospitality is truly amazing — some of the best service I’ve ever experienced anywhere. I would definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Yabuli. Highly, highly recommended.

Xin Yuhang, the employee that works in Sun Castle Resort Hotel is really nice, helpful and friendly, helps us with the difficulties we had throughout our stay there. Because of our language barriers , he was patience to translate it to us and despite the crowd that kept coming in and making him busy, he handle one by one with class, professionalism, and each person's help. My girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay in this hotel and holiday in Harbin. Thank you so much for making our stay a great one. We'll rate this 10/10
