„This was, without a doubt, the best hotel I stayed in during my trip to Taiwan. For context, I also visited other cities like Taipei and Kaohsiung, but this hotel in Taichung stood out above the rest. The location was absolutely perfect, very close to the Taichung Railway Station, which made exploring the city incredibly convenient. We arrived way too early, around 8:00 a.m., but we were immediately greeted by smiling staff who were so welcoming. They kindly helped us with our luggage for safekeeping, something we truly appreciated. They gave us proper luggage tags, and our bags were placed in an area right next to the staff for monitoring, which gave us great peace of mind. We also asked for directions to some places we wanted to visit, and they went above and beyond by printing out a hard copy of the route for us. This was my first time experiencing such thoughtful service, and it made a huge difference. We headed out, explored a few spots, and returned later in the afternoon for check-in. To be honest, I didn't have high expectations since it was a budget hotel but oh boy, was I impressed. The room was spotless and smelled wonderfully fresh, like it had just been thoroughly cleaned. Aside from the usual complimentary coffee and tea, they even surprised us with free Doritos and Biscoff biscuits, which was such a nice touch. The bathroom was also incredibly clean. We slept really well. Breakfast the next morning was good, with a nice variety. Although the selection was limited, everything tasted great, and they even offered a takeaway option, which was perfect for guests on the go. The next day’s breakfast was even better, they didn't repeat the same items, which showed real attention to detail and care for their guests. Even upon check-out, the staff remained warm and friendly, always smiling. What stood out most was that even the cleaners greeted us with a smile every time they saw us in the hallway. It’s that kind of genuine hospitality that turns a simple stay into a memorable experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Taichung!”

„Difficult to find at night. There's no signage outside that says ”Mulan” and there is no front door or desk. Instead, you walk up a driveway to find the office which resembles a guard shack. You must also let them know every time you return so that they can open the garage door to your unit, allowing you access to your room door. The room was very impressive. Huge and very luxurious. It's a lot space to clean, so I was not surprised that it wasn't spotless, but it was fine. The fish (minnow) pond was very tiny and barely noticeable in the corner of the bathroom. Lights cannot be controlled individually, instead there are set ”scenes” that you must toggle through. Some features in the room were simply not functional (i.e. the Music controls on the bedside table and some of the jacuzzi controls. The breakfast was a mixture of Mcdonald's-type food and traditional ********* breakfast. During my stay, the smoke alarm in the garage was low on battery and chirped all night. I told the staff the next day and instead of replacing the battery they simply removed it, however I could still hear chirping smoke alarms in other adjacent units. Overall it is a great value for the price, despite the few inconveniences.”

„Location is good. Walking distance to major transport and adjacent to factory outlet mall. Room is good size for couple and can add bed or family room. There is curated one day tour trip provided by the hotel and very competitive to outside tour. Tour guide selected and provided by hotel is professional, responsible and accommodating to needs. Hotel Breakfast is quite normal or standard which can be more exciting or international as IHG leh. If one of the day trip is to Lukang, there is bus literally outside the hotel. Walking distance and there is also option of walking to nearby bus stop to take bus to YiZhong street. Also got bus to Fengjia night market, very convenient.”

„Almond the hotel I have stayed is the most clean. Good location and very near to MRT station just 260m but I think more than that. Stay 1 night. Confortable for sleeping. Near to shopping mall and temple.”

„位置： 旅店大門開在美村路上，叫車司機卻依酒店地址導航停在向上北路和美村路口，互等超過三分鐘才發現！ 食肆： 旅店對面朝向上北路走到中美街上有個小夜市，但衹感覺破舊亂，逛後沒覺什麼特別好吃的，查點評有家太祖羊肉魚庚吃了衹覺偏鹹，沒有比在台北吃到的好吃！向上豆花也沒美村和晴光的好吃，附近還有一家米其林吃豬腳的，排隊吃完衹感覺口味有點名過其實，一身汗也沒有想再去的期望！叫外送則旅店同意小哥可送上樓，省得自取！ 停車： 看大眾點評上有訊息以為有停車場，實際到店時櫃枱告知他們已不提供停車場，以前有車位也是可遇不可求，也無法提前預佔，所以自駕的要注意，免得到時拖行李麻煩，也別被大眾點評誤導了！ 床： 床軟硬算適中，但枕頭軟又扁對我們會睡不好，想加枕頭墊高聽説要另收費，最後衹好拿大浴巾折幾折放下面墊高來解決！ 房間設施： 小冰箱內有結冰室，可以冰孩子沒吃完的冰棒，馬桶也有智能馬桶蓋，還好比虹橋機場那種給小人國坐的大一點！ 隔音： 淋浴水壓很強但共振噪音也大，需避免太晚洗澡會吵到人！ 衞生： 不知是下水道或空調，有時房內會返臭味，房間雖有窗但打不開，無法通風透氣！ 服務： 夜班男的對我們打越洋電話提前確認訂房情況顯得沒什麼耐心還會頂嘴，本因而想取消也來不及了！大廳則連個供住客暫坐等出租車的地方也沒有，和其他旅店比顯得寒酸！一次性拖鞋等也不提供，一切自備或櫃枱購買！ wifi： 因怕這種老旅館網速會不行，已先租了漫遊超人帶着，這裏的電視應該也不支持自動投屏，要自帶投屏器吧！ 房間大小： 和花的錢應成正比吧，這種商旅可能偏小偏舊也比內地貴點，但有行李架，箱子不用放地上。 性價比： 以如家漢庭那種大陸經濟連鎖型的標準來看，台灣的房價會偏高，且價格變化波動可大過一倍以上！裝修及設備可能也較不新穎，尤其是這種老旅店，但對比前晚住永豐棧，這離勤美商圈較近，住這衹圖個方便囉！”

„The location is fantastic, just a stone's throw away from the night market, where you can find a variety of delicious food options even at midnight. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful in, always ready to answer any questions I had. The hotel itself was comfortable and impeccably clean.”

„Firstly, the hotel management has strong empathy allowing me to cancel 1 night last minute due to family issues that I have to check out 1 day earlier. But to my surprise, Check in timing is surprisingly at 4pm. Gym facilities is under renovation but did not prior inform the guest upon check in. On Trip.com, stated open 2023 which is very misleading that the hotel was newly renovated or newly built. But the rooms are old but luckily not rundown and rooms are clean.”
