A lovely mid terrace stone cottage with wood burner in a quiet location. Very close to Bakewell town centre and ideally positioned for visiting the attractions of the Peak District National Park. There is off road parking for a small to medium sized family car to the front of the property, eg VW Golf. Also a beautiful small garden to sit in and enjoy a large glass of wine. The Peak District is the destination of choice for walkers, cyclists, climbers and cavers who can enjoy the dramatic landscape of the moors, and the peace of the valleys. The cottage is also double glazing.Downstairs, you enter from your own private drive to the hallway, which has coat hanging and boot storage. There is a large open plan kitchen/dining and sitting room with south-facing windows and bi-fold doors opening onto a large patio area. There is a modern, newly fitted kitchen with an AGA range, American fridge freezer and built in oven and microwave. The cottage provides cooking essentials, such as oil, condiments, sugar etc. There is a Tassimo Bosch coffee machine, as well as all the cooking equipment we think you'll need. The dining area will seat 6, and the living area has plenty of comfortable seating and exposed ceiling beams. The cottage is fully stocked with books and DVD's.On the ground floor are two double bedrooms with 2 wetrooms.Upstairs the third bedroom has exposed beams and a double bed. The en -suite is spacious, and there are beautiful views across to Little Longstone.The beds are modern, pocket sprung and comfortable and the linen is all Egyptian cotton.All three bathrooms are newly fitted, with lovely marble floor to ceiling tiles. There are heated towel rails in each, and plenty of hot-water is available on demand.Outside, the garden extends to ¼ of an acre, and is laid to grass, with a beech hedge, and with a path to the front door. A large garden table will easily accommodate 6 people, and there are six very comfortable sun loungers to relax on. The garden is surrounded by trees, including walnut and pear, with views across to both Chatsworth Estate and Sheldon Dale.Electric vehicle charging is available if arranged directly with the host. We can also arrange for groceries to be delivered to you for your stay, and there is a great local sourcing service which supplies a variety of local produce and local ales.
