The room was beautiful and the amenities were great! Unfortunately the sound proof was extremely bad 😓. We stayed for 2 nights and for both nights we heard loud talking, screaming and shouting. Last night was the worst. In addition to the shouting and loud talking, an alarm from a building went off the whole night 😩. The alarm went on for 15 to 20 minutes and then came back again. It went off for at least 3 times the whole night. We completely couldn’t sleep until 4am. We will definitely not staying there again. For the price we pay it’s absolutely feel ridiculous!

This is a great place, right in the heart of Edinburgh. Staff are friendly and the courtyard beds have more privacy than usual hostel bunkbeds, with the way onto the bed being at the end of the bed and a curtain to keep your privacy. Cider tasting was a nice addition.

Niestety, w nocy, kiedy zostałem, było wiele głośnych drzwi, które w nocy uderzały. Miałem śniadanie na dole około 9:30 rano, a zamyka się o 10:00. Gorące jedzenie było bardzo suche, więc prawdopodobnie siedziałem tu przez jakiś czas. Jeśli zostanę tu jeszcze raz, pójdę gdzie indziej na śniadanie.

the hotel was so clean and modern, with a really big room -- more than enough for 2 people. the location was so great because it was right beside a theatre and we cld even catch a last minute show there! the hotel was close to our needs ie shopping, sightseeing at the royal mile and city centre.

Uniwersytet Edynburski, deptak, Most Jerzego, Victoria Street, popularne sklepy i zamek znajdują się zaledwie 10 minut spacerem od hotelu. Hotel oferuje również wspaniały basen, jacuzzi i saunę. Sala śniadaniowa i kawiarnia są dość duże jak na Edynburg. Personel jest wspaniały, uprzejmy i miły. Obsługa sprzątająca jest doskonała, proaktywnie pytając na korytarzu, czy potrzebujesz wody lub posprzątania pokoju. Pamiętaj tylko, że musisz wpłacić niewielki depozyt w recepcji, aby aktywować numer pokoju podczas rezerwacji; to bardzo wygodne. Za hotelem znajduje się również Sainsbury's, co sprawia, że ​​zakupy są niezwykle wygodne.

This hotel was in a great location. 5 minutes walk from the shopping mall. 2 minutes walk from the tram stop and only 10 minutes walk to some of the main attractions in Edinburgh. The staff at the desk were extremely polite and helpful and even looked after our bags when we checked out so we could go and see another sight in Edinburgh before leaving. The only downside is due to this being an old building there was no elevator available which didn’t affect us but would be an issue for elderly or disabled people.

We had a really great stay here! The room was surprisingly spacious and very well equipped. It even had a microwave and kitchen utensils, which were super convenient for heating food during our stay. We were actually travelling to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday, and the hotel staff kindly helped decorate the room and prepared some chocolates for us. It was such a sweet and thoughtful touch that made the trip feel even more special. We really appreciated the effort! The whole experience was very comfortable and enjoyable, and the hotel felt very welcoming. We would definitely come back and stay here again❤️ （The only small downside was a slight smell from the drain in the bathroom, but it was still tolerable and didn’t affect our stay too much.

1. Location, Location, Location • It’s hard to beat this hotel for central Edinburgh. Right on North Bridge, you’re a stone’s throw from Waverley Station, the Royal Mile, shops, restaurants, and many of the city’s major sights.  • Great for walking everywhere; you don’t need transport for many of the main attractions.  2. Room Size & Basics • Many guests say the rooms are more spacious than you might expect in a city‑centre hotel.  • Clean, with decent bathrooms, functional furniture, and most have good views (though that depends on the side you’re on).  3. Quality of Bed & Sleep Amenities • Beds often get praise for being comfortable (though not universally). TVs, desks, kettles etc. are standard and work well.  4. Restaurant / Lounge / Public Areas • Decent lounge with a good drinks menu, good public areas, attractive décor in common spaces.  • The steakhouse (Marco Pierre White) is a draw for many visitors.

Ponadto są pewne problemy w łazience. Światło w łazience jest automatyczne i to jest wadą. Kiedy siedzę na toalecie, czujnik w łazience nie wykrywa mojego ruchu i co minutę wyłącza światło. Będzie o wiele lepiej, jeśli będę mógł włączyć światła ręcznie. Również sposób zmiany temperatury prysznica jest bardzo nieludzki. Ogólnie rzecz biorąc, jest to dobry hotel apartamentowy, ale są pewne problemy

A Wonderful Stay – Highly Recommended! My friend and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely property, and we had an excellent experience. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed with the attention to detail and the warmth of the staff. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring we both got a restful night’s sleep. What truly stood out, however, was the level of service. I was feeling a bit under the weather during our stay, and the staff went above and beyond by bringing breakfast directly to our room, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture. This level of care really goes a long way in making guests feel valued. For those who prefer to enjoy their breakfast with a bit of fresh air, the hotel also has a charming terrace where you can take your meal while soaking in the surroundings. It's the perfect way to start the day if you want to enjoy a bit of sunshine. The location is also a major plus. It’s just a short walk to the city center, making it easy to explore, and for those who prefer not to walk, a quick 5-minute bus ride will take you wherever you need to go. The lounge area at the hotel is another highlight. It’s spacious, cozy, and thoughtfully equipped with blankets to keep guests comfortable if the temperature drops. It provided the perfect spot to unwind after a day of sightseeing. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area. The combination of comfort, thoughtful service, and a prime location makes it a top choice. We will definitely be staying here again when we return!
