We had a wonderful stay, starting with the warm welcome from the owner, with lots of tips for our visit to Chania. It is a charming historical building in a central location in the old town, a short walk from the harbour, in a quiet side street. We had a spacious and well-equipped room with a very comfortable bed, some lovely complementary wine, other drinks in the fridge, as well as fruit and chocolates. Our room had a small, private balcony but we also had access to the wonderful roof terrace - a green oasis with views across the town. Highly recommended!

Our stay at Selected Suite was simply perfect! The location is amazing, and the room itself is unbelievable, everything brand new, with stunning design and incredible comfort. The space is large, with a beautiful terrace, a huge shower, and modern detail, the steam room was a big bonus after a long day.  Honestly, the decoration is so impressive I could happily live here. Everything was spotless every single day, it’s honestly one of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed. I felt so comfortable that I never wanted to leave. The team even prepared a wonderful birthday surprise for my partner, which made our stay extra special. Parking was very easy, the reception is available at all times and always helpful, and the cleaning ladies are just fantastic, smiling, kind, and doing an excellent job. A very special thank you to Ayu, who was absolutely adorable and made our stay unforgettable with her kindness and warmth. I recommend this place 100%! I cannot wait to come back. Honestly, I couldn’t find a single thing to improve everything was truly perfect.

We arrived 3 hours early and the hotel said the room had been arranged, so we checked in at noon👍 The room was large and the balcony was spacious. The swimming pool on the roof of the 7th floor is also very beautiful with great views. The breakfast is rich in content, and you can taste many of Crete's special snacks. Although it takes about 12-15 minutes to walk to the old town, the scenery along the way is very good and it doesn’t feel far. In short, it is highly recommended👍

Absolutely stunning place in a perfect location just a short stroll along the sea front to the historic old town of Chania and the Venetian Harbour. In the other direction an even shorter stroll to the harbour and Nea Chora beach - which has a ton of bars shops and restaurants. Property is directly on the seafront in a real tranquil location - with a beautiful pool and incredible sea views everywhere you stood. The staff were fantastic and even contacted me on WhatsApp prior to my stay to arrange my check in. Had my room ready early - which was fabulous. I was incredibly lucky to have a suite with a hot tub right on the sea front - beautifully decorated, fresh, clean and the views from the balcony were incredible. I believe breakfast is included for all guests, which was lovely with a wide variety of hot and cold food drinks and pastries. The only criticism is of myself that I didn’t stay longer. I would come back in a heartbeat!

Obiekt był trochę stary, ale kolacja była bardzo dobra. Woda na plaży była krystalicznie czysta, ale to nie była prywatna plaża hotelu; trzeba było przejść przez ulicę. Przejście przez ulicę było trochę niebezpieczne. Przy wymeldowaniu dano nam małe saszetki z miodem, co było bardzo miłe!

Jako czterogwiazdkowy hotel, w pełni zasługuje na swoją nazwę. Hol i restauracja na drugim piętrze są piękne, z eleganckim wystrojem i przestronnymi pokojami. Pokoje również są ładne, a powierzchnia 22 metrów kwadratowych jest generalnie zadowalająca. Pościel i kołdry są bardzo wygodne. Śniadanie jest wyśmienite, z szerokim wyborem dań i doskonałą obsługą. Każdy otrzymuje własny imbryk i komplet filiżanek, a herbata jest podawana do stolika. Kawa jest również podawana przy stoliku. Stoły mają podwójne obrusy, które są starannie wyprasowane. Ten poziom obsługi jest typowy dla hoteli pięciogwiazdkowych, a hotel Cacardon zapewnia go, co jest godne uwagi. Przechowalnia bagażu po wcześniejszym przyjeździe i wymeldowaniu jest również bardzo wygodna. Obsługa w recepcji jest bardzo uważna i entuzjastyczna, cierpliwie odpowiadając na wszelkie pytania. Lokalizacja jest świetna, naprzeciwko wejścia do starego budynku w Chanii (budynek jest obecnie remontowany i może zostać przekształcony w centrum pamiątek turystycznych). To zaledwie 200-300 metrów od starego miasta, co jest bardzo wygodne. Dwudniowy pobyt był wart swojej ceny. Jedyną rzeczą, którą można by poprawić, jest to, że pudełka z chusteczkami są umieszczone pod zlewem, przez co trudno je znaleźć bez dokładnego szukania. The spa - hamam, sauna and indoor pool (1m deep though?!) is the hotel’s best feature. There is no beach access though, so I went to Nea Hora and Golden beach. Rooms - too small, lack of storage space, complex buttons and unnecessarily complicated console. It was quiet even though I was given a 2nd floor room. The overall signage in the hotel is confusing too. Beds and pillows - huge and comfy. Food - excellent. Massage decent. Toiletries good. Only frontal views are of the sea, but cost 10x more! Otherwise - trash can views!😤 A la carte breakfast - too slow, you eat less, always a misunderstanding… and after you order they take away the menu… Rooftop pool - a scam! Sunbeds always occcupied and need to be booked to see the sunset 🙄 there is another rooftop on 7th floor but after 10min you want to leave, because there are no showers, a pool, toilet or a bar… Staff is young, fakely polite, too slow and not very responsive - obviously trained for certain types of guests (culturally unexperienced). So even to get a locker in the spa you had to wait to be explained how to unlock it (and pass a test?!), even though there are two people at the reception desk. My coffee capsules, sweetener, and teas were not replaced the following morning during the housekeeping visit and a used glass was not washed. The balcony pool is tiny and got a lot of fluff from the street, plus I didn’t feel comfortable using it with it being visible from the street and building right across the street. I was also called at 21:30 (I was asleep?!) to check whether I was satisfied with a complimentary 30min massage (due to the poor room view)… 🤷🏼♀️ I understand that it is a new hotel and they are trying their best but I also paid 800+€ for two nights and was frustrated during 50% of my stay… 😒 I attended a high school for tourism and hospitality, worked as a masseuse, also and worked in 5-* hotels Chania 30 years ago, but stayed in a multitude of 4-5 star hotels worldwide since. Especially in Asia where the service is top notch. Therefore, all of this is not acceptable for such a high price. Yes, the welcome drink is nice, and so is the complimentary massage, but you should do better, Hilton!

Cudowne doświadczenie! Powitanie było idealne, pokoje znajdują się 2-3 minuty spacerem od recepcji, a ja zostałem odprowadzony do pokoju. Pan w recepcji zaoferował nawet pomoc w zaniesieniu mojej walizki. Pokój nie jest nowy, ale jest bardzo przestronny i ładnie urządzony. Łazienka jest trochę wilgotna, ale bardzo dobrze wyposażona, nawet z bidetem. Klimatyzacja w pokoju działa idealnie, a do dyspozycji Gości jest osuszacz powietrza. W strategicznych miejscach jest mnóstwo gniazdek elektrycznych. Lodówki nie chłodzą zbyt dobrze, ale to drobiazg. Śniadanie jest przyzwoite, z lokalnymi produktami, a kelnerki są naprawdę miłe i pomocne. Najlepsze jest zdecydowanie powitanie i obsługa; są absolutnie przemili i uważni. Polecili pobliskie restauracje i te, których należy unikać, a lokalizacja jest fantastyczna – ulica jest cicha, ale blisko wszystkiego!
