„I had a wonderful stay at this hotel during my trip to Nepal. The quality exceeded my expectations in every way. The room was spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean, providing a perfect retreat after long days of exploring. The location is absolutely fantastic – right in the city center, which made it incredibly convenient to walk around and shop for local goods in town. What I particularly loved was the proximity to several Chinese restaurants nearby, all offering delicious food at very reasonable prices. The staff truly made our experience special. They were friendly. They were kind enough to store our luggage while we went on our EBC trek.”

„Lovely stay in Hotel Thrive. The hotel is located just off the main tourist hub in Thamel, it’s a very short walk and the hotel has security 24/7. The main courtyard is beautiful, a true tropical calm oasis away from the busy streets of Kathmandu. The rooms are spacious and modern with all the amenities you would need alongside daily housekeeping. The gym is compact but with good, well kept modern machinery and fantastic views across Kathmandu. The breakfast is delicious with ample choice to suit everyone. I would highly recommend this hotel and we would definitely stay again when we next visit Kathmandu.”

„On this special day, I chose to check in at Shanker hotel. The warm service,delicious food and quality environment,everything is so good. The hotel prepares decorations and cake very thoughtfully, surprised us. Due to the late arrival time, the hotel also thoughtfully provided me with dinner order so that could enjoy it when we arrived. Finally the food upexpectedly delicious. I recommend you to choose Shanker hotel. Wherever it’s a vacation or celebration it is best choice.”

„Absolutely loved the hotel and stay! Cosy clean rooms, great vibes, food and passionate service (from security guards to housekeepers at every level)! Breakfast buffet has great selections and very tasty menu, service staff is extremely attentive to your needs and service deserves great commendation (every single one of them)! It was a bit difficult to read the names off the badges, managed to only saw Sabina’s and Arun’s name but there are just so many more staff whom I’d like to show appreciation from front desk to concierge and really everyone! They do not just serve you but engage with you through conversations making you feel at ease and like at home during the stay. Liked how the laundry system works and also the gym which are both 24 hours. No complaints at all and I would definitely like to stay here again when I am at Nepal the next round. 10/10 recommend and you will have no regrets!”

„Everything was just perfect! Had I known this hotel earlier, I kist have been stayed longer. The buffet food was exceptional. The service they gave was outstanding. I had a problem with my bath tub and fridge but both were solved quickly. Location is exceptional. In less than a minute, you’ll find numerous souvenir shops and restaurants. You can even walk to Durbar Square and Monkey Temple like what I did! My room with the bathtub and balcony was supra relaxing, the bed was ultra comfy. The garden cafe is a plus. Will definitely book here again. Highly recommended!”

„The hotel is conveniently situated right behind of the Garden of Dreams. Just a short walking distance to the busy Thamel area. The vicinity has convenience stores, cafes, eateries and pharmacy. The room is quite small but it's alright for a short stay. The bed wasn't quite as comfortable as other hotels that I've stayed. Very basic fitness facility in the hotel, do wish that they would make the gym bigger and better equipped. The breakfast buffet is good enough for some fuel before heading out to explore. Omelette could definitely be improved but I do like the mushrooms and bacon with my omelette. They also have a soup station which you can pick what you want to go into your soup. The soy latte was nicely done. Some day they serve the chocolate cake which is a must try. Staffs are very well trained and speaks good english. I'd definitely recommend staying here for the value for money, fantastic location and good hospitality.”
