Stayed at Aloft Karakoy for 4 nights while visiting Istanbul. Staff were friendly and helpful. Mustafa the staff for our floor was really friendly, greeted us every morning and ensured we have what we need. We took a red eye and arrived at the hotel at 10am - hotel allowed us to check in early which we greatly appreciate. Thanks! Hotel is new and really clean. Only note that despite daily housekeeping, we were out of body wash which was not refilled. Call for refill at 11pm and the staff had to enter the bathroom with shoes on which was quite an inconvenience. Location was great - walking distance to Galata tower, Karakoy ferry terminal, Sishane metro station. A longer stroll to Taksim square and also to cross the Galata bridge to the ancient side. Side note - Would recommend breakfast at Walton breakfast near the hotel. Note that the snack bar on the ground floor is not complimentary for guest. While there was no price tag and I grabbed some chips on the first day, I was charged for it when I checked out (hotel probably checked CCTV on what I took). It would be good if the pricing can be upfront.

Przez cały mój pobyt hotel zapewniał godną pochwały obsługę. Ich codzienne śniadanie w formie bufetu było wspaniałe. Warto jednak zaznaczyć, że hotel jest dość oddalony od głównych atrakcji turystycznych. Na szczęście w pobliżu znajduje się kolej miejska, chociaż dojazd do centrum miasta zajmuje około pół godziny, a dojazd na lotnisko zajmuje prawie dwie godziny. Pozytywnym akcentem jest to, że hotel uzupełnia piękny odcinek starożytnych murów miejskich, co dodaje temu miejscu ogólnego uroku.

The room is good but a little small than I expected but it is clean. And the balcony it is good as well but small. You can have chill time on the balcony while sipping your coffee or having a smoke there while looking for the busy street. Nearby and accessible to transportation taxi, bus going to the airport, markets, resto bar, pub, cafe and the tourist attraction. Taksim Square, galata tour, Kabatas tramvay station going to mosque attractions and all. ☺️

Doświadczony personel był zarówno przyjazny, jak i pomocny! Podróżując późnym wieczorem i wczesnym rankiem, zadzwoniłam do hotelu, aby poprosić o pomoc w zamówieniu taksówki. Recepcja chętnie porozmawiała z kierowcą, a nawet pomogła mi potwierdzić cenę. Jako podróżująca samotnie kobieta, chcę podjąć środki ostrożności dla własnego bezpieczeństwa. Pokój był autentyczny i miał przyjemną, ciepłą atmosferę! Pokoje były czyste i miały wygodne łóżka. Lokalizacja jest blisko turystycznych miejsc z łatwym dostępem do transportu publicznego! Podróżni, bądźcie przygotowani, tak wiele rzeczy do zobaczenia i zrobienia - bądźcie przygotowani. Cieszyłam się ekscytującym zgiełkiem i z pomocą znalazłam drogę publicznym promem, aby sprawdzić drugą stronę i poznać lokalne doświadczenia. Naprawdę podobał mi się mój pobyt, dziękuję Empire Palace

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It is new, beautiful, pleasant and very clean. The room was comfortable, and we especially appreciated having a coffee machine — it may seem like a small detail, but even many good hotels in Istanbul do not have one, so this was a great plus. Unfortunately, however, the service currently falls noticeably short of the level of the hotel itself. 1. When we arrived, there was hardly any welcome at all. We would have appreciated a little more attention from the very beginning — even something as simple as a warm greeting. 2. Water and coffee were brought to our room only after the first night. On the following days, housekeeping did not come to our room at all, although we could hear the staff servicing other rooms on our floor. 3. It was my birthday during our stay, but there was absolutely no attention or even a small birthday greeting from the hotel. For a hotel of this level, I believe this is an important part of being guest-oriented and providing a good experience. 4. Overall, the staff were not particularly welcoming throughout our stay. Almost no one greeted us during our entire time at the hotel. The only time we received any personal attention was around 1 a.m., when we were returning from celebrating my birthday and a member of staff wished us good night. Unfortunately, that was about it. Before staying at this hotel, we stayed at another hotel in Istanbul, where almost every staff member we came across would greet us. Because of that, the difference in the level of service was especially noticeable. At check-out, we were offered a postcard and were given a red bracelet with an evil-eye charm. It was a thoughtful gesture in itself, but unfortunately, by that point it did not change our overall impression of the service. Especially since the gift is offered at check-out and guests are then immediately asked to leave a review. I simply don’t think it would be fair to leave a positive review about the staff when there are still such noticeable shortcomings in the level of service and attention to guests. That said, I would still recommend the hotel itself. It is beautiful, new and has a lot of potential. I sincerely hope the management will pay more attention to the service and the guest experience. It would be a real shame for such a beautiful hotel to lose some of its appeal simply because of a lack of attention to guests. I hope you will improve the service and maintain the high standard that this beautiful hotel deserves. With better hospitality, the overall guest experience could truly match the level of the property.

А прям понравилось. Неожиданно, но понравилось, были всего два дня, но не хотели уезжать потому что: 1. Принимали карты с российской union pay 2. Персонал очень дружелюбный и цены в отеле были такими же как и везде 3. Очень крутое море на не официальном пляже. Именно не на официальном, очень важно. Не там где длинный новый променад, хотя он тоже очень хорош 4. До всех достопримечательностей городка можно добраться за какие то минуты 5. Бассейн просто бомба и завтрак около него. Даже наш ребенок ”ничего не хочу” съела апельсин и арбуз. 6. И вообще, просто там классно и можно отдохнуть

The hotel was okay, but the surprise was that he genuinely thought it was close to the event location—it actually took our guest 30 minutes to get to the venue.

Great appartments, wonderful facilities around the hotel compound. Found the cleaning staff in particular to be very helpful and friendly, specifically Sebahat and Nurgyl. When I noticed that the bedroom window was a little dusty they very cheerfully went and got everything needed to clean the windows there and then and they did it with a smile. Lovely to see and thank you!

I am writing to provide feedback regarding my check-in experience on the night. Unfortunately, the initial interaction with the nightshift receptionist was highly unsatisfactory and dumb. Upon arrival, the porter appeared unwell and was notably discourteous. He was unable to efficiently process my check-in, which caused a significant delay - I arrived early and there were rooms available but instead of earning a guest you letting people move a way. After a long journey, this was a disappointing welcome. Thankfully, the receptionist, Mert, provided excellent service. He was professional, polite, and clearly explained the hotel's procedures. His assistance turned a negative situation into a positive one. This feedback is to have a word with your night receptionist please. Also, I booked a room with partial sea view but given a room that views the city but the view is nice and room is nice.
