Welcome home! You’ll love staying at this updated 1860s farmhouse with its open floor plan, beautiful hardwood floors, and mix of modern and rustic charm. Located on a quiet, country road only 2 miles from Colgate and the village of Hamilton, The Farmhouse features plenty of comfy chairs and couches and places to rest your head. We have 1 king, 1 queen, 1 full, and 2 twin trundle beds (4 total twin beds). In addition, we have a futon/couch, a crib/toddler bed, and a queen pull-out couch.You’ll walk into an expansive sunroom with an egg chair (Google it!), a couple of chairs, and a high-top table. The sunroom also has yoga mats and dumbells for you to use.FIRST FLOORFrom the sunroom, you’ll enter the light-filled farmhouse featuring a fully stocked kitchen, laundry room, and full bath with shower. Off the kitchen is a breakfast area with expandable high top table and a living room with two sitting areas and a large, Smart TV. Also on the first floor is a formal dining room as well as a family room with gas stove, desk, Smart TV and access to the covered front porch with chairs. Have a seat and watch the chipmunks play and the neighbor’s chickens peck our newly planted grass seed! And make sure to wake up early enough to catch the gorgeous sunrise...The washer and dryer are easily accessible and the kitchen is stocked with spices, condiments, coffee, tea, pots, pans, and appliances that you’d have at home. You'll find the kitchen stocked with oils, spices, condiments, coffee - regular and decaf - tea, creamers and other items you made need during your stay.In the bathroom, the unique shower has a rainfall shower head and walls made from galvanized roofing. You shouldn't have to bring much as we provide shampoo, conditioner, facial soap, and lotion as well as items you may have left behind - Q-tips, razors, emery boards, etc. The white-painted concrete floors, white walls, and large windows really brighten up the space and give it a fresh and open feel.Accessibility is a priority, with a ramp, no interior steps, and wide doors for all guests.
