„This is a very nice hotel, great location, good rooms and excellent, helpful staff. But the hotel gets bad marks in two areas. First, the food was generally very good but the Western breakfast buffet choices were nearly always cold. I tried three days in a row to get poached eggs that were not hard boiled. On the third day I got what I wanted but even then the eggs were stone cold. The second issue was the the lack of necessary security staff. The lobby bar was nice and had a young woman playing guitar in the evenings but on our second evening 4 drunks were drinking, shouting and smoking and refused to stop when the hotel staff intervened. After this things escalated and instead of having hotel security throw them out the drunks started harassing us and it got ugly so we left for our room. The hotel called our room to apologize but it was not equipped to deal with this situation and needs to have better control over their public areas. A lesson to be learned. I will be sending a separate letter to Accor management giving full details of this unfortunate event.”

„Up-scale Chinese-style hotel in beautiful grounds by the lake. The rooms in Building A are large and new but with some old-fashioned charm. The building itself has a slightly strange lay-out that somehow lacks warmth or character with most rooms facing inwards overlooking internal fish ponds . Breakfast is decent but no Western options. Not enough hot springs to get away from the crowds, even on a wet Monday.”

„great experiance .all the staff great us and help with any requst .espically Mack who take care of any request and answered pationally although he couldnt speek english we use translation. the hotel is 2 min drive by hottel shutle to the scenic area. we got free entrance as hotel guests and we a free sight seeing bus ride in the scenic area. there are also pools and hot spring area inside the hotel which we enjoyed very much .we also enjoyed meditation class in the morning and singing bowl theraphy class which was bery relaxing and special dont miss it we have had great time there.”

„We chose Mile over Jianshui for a few days' relaxation primarily because we discovered the newly opened Holiday Inn there. Our five-day stay at the Holiday Inn exceeded our expectations. First off, this is a proper hotel, not one of those trendy simplified versions. What I mean is that its design and concept are genuinely geared towards providing guests with top-notch accommodation and service. The hotel boasts numerous public facilities: a bright and spacious lobby, an elegant little bar and lounge area, a kids' play corner, a starlit swimming pool, two hot spring pools with different temperatures, and a self-service laundry room. And then there's the restaurant – I absolutely have to mention it! The chef prepares a super rich breakfast every day, always with new surprises. I'm guessing the head chef is a master from Guangdong, though he told me he's from Yunnan. As for the rooms, they are large, clean, and tastefully decorated. The bed, sheets, and duvet are all high-quality. What truly reflects the hotel's quality are the in-room furnishings: the Holiday Inn has chosen truly comfortable chairs and sofas, the kind you can relax in while reading or listening to music. The most valuable asset of this hotel, however, is its entire staff. Every single person is friendly and polite, genuinely caring for each guest. A big thank you to Xiao Ji at the front desk, Nancy at the bar, KoKo at the restaurant, and the ever-present Gavin and Jennifer, along with their entire team. The hotel's location is opposite Honghe Water Village. We walked to Dahou Park every day for a stroll, visited nearby coffee shops, tried various restaurants, and after dinner, headed to Honghe Water Village to enjoy the bustling atmosphere. We are very much looking forward to staying at this hotel again next time. Highly recommend this excellent place.”

„先説好的，酒店環境很好，公共區域設施基本不錯，早餐很舒適，旁邊還有黑天鵝很可愛。 但是villa的房間設定和一些設施還有個別服務人員都有問題。定的villa全家5口人，竟然整個villa衹有一個shower，樓下衹有廁所沒有淋浴，這也太奇怪了，晚上回家5個人排隊洗澡體驗很差。 我們住的紫桂閣一樓的廁所還一直泛異味，第一天入住想找人維修，結果電話一直佔線，手機打也佔線，一個高級度假酒店就一條電話線嗎？第二天回到房間異味還在，再打電話還是佔線，手機再打才打通，派人來維修好了，這麼影響體驗的事故發生在任何一個國際五星都至少送個餐、spa什麼的，這邊就在走的時候送個沒幾塊錢的鹵鴿，佔行李又尷尬，太摳嗦了。 管家服務也是一塌糊塗，學外國resort有管家，但是全程沒有迎接沒有介紹沒有見過麪，凡事都是要找內線打不通的前台，那設定管家有什麼有？就為了個fancy的名頭？ 走的時候叫車來運行李，明知道一家子一堆行李要離開，還派了個手不能提的女服務員來，一口一個大箱子她舉不動，請問明知道要搬行李還不派男服務員或者能有力氣搬運的女服務員，這就是逼我們自己動手唄。這個價錢規格的resort，這種服務態度太不應該。大部分服務人員都不錯，前台和來幫忙修洗手間的、早餐的幾位都態度很好很專業，但極個別的服務人員態度就是會毀了客人的整體感受，沒有力氣就不要來運送行李，這麼硬剛的性格就不要做五星酒店的服務人員。”

„The place is great but the restaurant is to small for the amount of people they let in . There is only one coffe machine and the food for breakfast is good but not excellent . The charging stations some of them don't work . The place is beautiful and the wood houses are beautiful . So when it comes to primary things the place is great , but the secondary things are not that good . I would give it this place 9 points out of ten .”
