„AMAZING hotel. We booked two nights here towards the end of our two weeks trip and it was the best decision ever! Hotel was very clean and cozy. Staff were very attentive and kind. We could only book this room as this was the only available room at the time of my booking. I'd preferred a different room. But to my surprise I LOVED the room. The view of the mountain and autumn leaves were amazing. Even my husband who couldn't care less about nature and view in general fell in love. He soaked in the hot spring tub 3 times an hour for several hours! We both loved it. We could grab a dvd in the lobby to watch. I grabbed harry potter second and third movies to watch. How relaxing. Dinner and breakfast were delicious! And shuttle service to Kowakidani train station were a huge convenience! Would love to come back and book a different type of room in the future!”

„Our stay at the hotel was overall excellent, and we would still highly recommend it, especially for couples looking for a pleasant getaway. Almost everything was perfect—the room was clean and comfortable, the facilities were great, and every other staff member we encountered was polite and helpful. It’s truly a lovely place to spend time together. However, our check-in experience was noticeably unpleasant due to one staff member. She came across as unwelcoming and impatient, almost as if we were bothering her. She rushed through the process and felt quite pushy, especially when repeatedly questioning which language we preferred—even though we tried communicating in both Japanese and English. Her attitude made us feel uncomfortable and somewhat unwanted at first. Aside from this one incident, everything else was wonderful. We hope the hotel addresses such front-desk service issues so that future guests can enjoy a consistently welcoming experience from start to finish.”

„Check in took quite some time as there were many guests checking in at 3pm. The hotel has a western ryokan feel. It has 2 onsens which they alternate between men and women and I suggest going to both. The one on level 5 has a waterfall view. Dinner was buffet style and the variety was great. I super love the fresh Sashimi, the miso soup, the tempura and sushi, snow crab etc. Room was clean and spacious with our own outdoor Onsen bath. Would love to come back.”

„Chose this place for the private onsen and highly reviewed meals. Meals are served in the central restaurant, will need to book meal timing for both breakfast and dinner as they serve over two rounds. Chose kaiseki dinner which felt like fine dining too. The rooms are modern, with the private onsen on rustic balcony facing the forest. The hot onsen water runs continuously into the pool, which made me think it’s really from the mountains. Do note the hotel is on the middle of a hill, so if driving, be prepared to drive along small windy roads to reach. When leaving, the hotel staff will even help to look out for oncoming cars and direct you to safely drive out of the hotel property onto the main road.”

„It is one of the best hotel ever visited, the location is great, near to Gora station, direct bus to Gotemba premium outlet, the room is nice and clean with personal onsen, there are 3 private onsen can be used freely if available. There are even hand grind coffee equipment in the room for you to make coffee. Snack, drink, beer and all beverages are free. Their breakfast and dinner are outstanding, the dinner is 8 course cuisine, take almost 2 hours to complete. Highly recommended. Of course all the services come with a price of almost 40000 yen per person per day, but is really worth it. Will stay in the hotel again if revisit Hakone.”

„Szukaliśmy onsen z łazienką na balkonie i prawdopodobnie uderzyliśmy w słodkie miejsce. Niestety, mielismy tylko 1 noc, ale to było fantastyczne. Onsen znajduje się na górnej stacji Gora, gdzie można dostać się z Odawara. To jest około 2 godziny od Tokio razem, około 3 godziny od Kyoto. Ostatnie 2 sekcje drogi przechodzą przez malownicze ścisłe kolei. Widok są świetne! Upewnij się, że pośpiesz się do przednich lub tylnych siedzeń (nieważne które) aby zabezpieczyć miejsce na ładne zdjęcia. Prywatna kąpiel jest fantastyczna, pokoje są czyste i przestronne z stylem ryokanowym (tatami itp.). To idealne miejsce do siedzenia i odpoczynku nie ma znaczenia, że jest słońce lub biedny deszcz na zewnątrz. Jedzenie było fantastyczne (według mojej żony), jednak opcje są ograniczone, jeśli nie jeść ryb lub produktów morskich z powodu alergii lub innych powodów. Dla zespołu Karaku - Chciałbym dodać podpis wagyu zestaw dla tych, którzy chcą czegoś innego. Wybór wina i napojów alkoholowych jest super. Bezpłatne przekąski i kawa są dostępne do 8.00, a także z widokiem na tarasie. Dla tych, którzy lubią jakieś regularne rzeczy konbini - Lawson jest około 10 minut spacerem z pociągami stylu Miyazaki przechodzącymi przez 👌🏻 W sumie, chcielibyśmy, żebyśmy pobyli co najmniej 2 noce, ponieważ jest wiele działań.  Dzięki personelowi Karaku za ciepłe powitanie i dostosowane doświadczenie!”

„I had a wonderful stay at Rakuten Stay Fujimi Terrace! The day before check-in, I received an email with the entrance code, which made the whole process very smooth. The room was exactly as described on the website—with large windows offering an incredible view of Mt. Fuji, the torii gate, and the lake. The scenery alone made it more than worth it. We had eight people staying in two 4-person rooms located on the third floor. One of the rooms was slightly larger and had extra bedding stored in the closet—enough to comfortably sleep two additional people. There were two bathrooms and two toilets in total, which was perfect for a group or family. The main bathroom included a sauna, hot spring-style bath, shower area, double sinks, a washing machine, and a water dispenser. The second bathroom had a separate shower area and a single sink. Both toilets were separated spaces from bathrooms with high-tech with bidet functions and small sinks. The large dining table and spacious sofa area easily seated all of us. We spent many relaxing moments on the balcony, soaking our feet in the warm onsen foot bath, chatting, and admiring the stunning view. The kitchen was fully equipped with a dishwasher, detergent, a large fridge stocked with complimentary drinks, a capsule coffee machine, and a Japanese rice cooker that made delicious rice. The beds were on the firmer side but still soft and very comfortable. It was just a 3-minute walk along the lake to the 7-Eleven, accessible by elevator from the building. The nearby pier was where we boarded the pirate ship cruise, and about 13 minutes further along the lake was the Peace Torii—a fantastic photo spot. Don’t forget to grasp some delicious bread at “bakery and table” before boarding to the ship. After check-out, we stored our luggage in the lockers at Motohakone Port, took the pirate ship to Togendai, transferred to the ropeway to Sounzan, and visited Gora and Kowakudani before taking the mountain bus back to Motohakone to pick up our luggages. There are 4 lockers for suitcase up to 32 inches ¥700, 12 lockers for 24 inches ¥600, and 10 lockers for smaller size of bags ¥400. From there, we had a pre-arranged shuttle take us back to Tokyo. The whole route was smooth and well-organized—perfect for a larger group traveling without a car. Overall, I highly recommend Rakuten Stay!”

„第一次體驗這種純日式旅館，雖然衹是匆忙的住了一晚，但體驗十分豐富多彩。服務人員熱情且貼心，雖然幾乎全靠翻譯機和肢體語言，也並沒有影響我們交流。負責照顧我們的阿姨會耐心幫我們換裝，提醒我們去欣賞櫻花，問問我們去哪玩，感覺特別像自家親戚在照顧來旅行的孩子。這大概就是家庭旅館的含義吧。晚餐和早餐都十分美味，且充足！女生真真是吃不完啊！在得知我們有人生日，更是得到了手寫的祝福卡片，感動極了！我們朋友約好下次要多留點時間再來這裏！”

„Great hotel. Service and amenities amazing (except no gym). Thought the rooms was well designed to provide good rest. In my opinion the breakfast was the star. Top Notch!! All in all great experience.”
