„Yangzhou State Guesthouse is located within a sprawling area where many of the facilities are within walking distance. It is like staying in a holiday resort. You can either walk to the different facilities or take the buggy provided. The Slender West Lake (瘦西湖） is just beside the Guesthouse and is definitely worth a visit both during the day and in the evening. A bit too hot to visit in the summer, but it will be nice during spring and/or autumn.”

„Booked two rooms with Raddison Red. The rooms were clean and spacious, the receptionists were friendly and engaging. Breakfast had plenty of choices with good quality coffee. The manager who managed the breakfast bar was friendly and warm, and spent time chatting with each table. We forgot our Mac charger and the hotel took no trouble to arrange it to be delivered to our next hotel Nanjing the following day!!! Amazing service and went above and beyond! Thank you.”

„Excellent hotel with great location. Garden is very nice overlooking slender west lake, we made use of package photo shoot that made the trip memorable. Mr Guan, the hotel manager and his colleagues were also very helpful, he helped us recover my daughter’s phone left at the taxi ; overall very good and friendly service. 2 night package was a good choice for my family; gave us sufficient time to enjoy the hotel facilities and its service.”

„Best location if you wanted to visit Slender Lake as the entrance is just across the road. There are restaurants to the left of the resort as well if opting to dine out. The resort is quite big, with separate buildings housing different types of rooms. Well catered for families with kids. We got the room with a hot spring inside so we didn’t visit the public one.”
