Hotel Central Plaza, Old Stancia Kazbegi

i was here in January and the service was excellent. the place is pet friendly and the food is so delicious. i tried pepperoni, shkmeruli (georgian traditional dish), chicken with veggies. Highly recommend this place if you want to relax from a noisy city and a busy schedule. Located in the center of kazbegi and the view is just a cherey on top. the waitresses here are very friendly and attantive

Very nice hotel. The location is very good. Reception staff is very good. Spent two nights in the room facing the river . It was wonderful experience. Indian restaurant just at few steps aways from the hotel.

Overpriced and slow service. Kitchen is severely understaffed: only two other tables were occupied, yet the waiter told me it would take a long time because of the capacity problems. Beautiful view though.

Our group stopped here for lunch after visiting the Holy Trinity Church. The food was good and at a reasonable price. The seating area had large windows giving us good views to the mountains. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

I arrived very late, around 11pm. No matter - staff were more than happy to serve me hot, fresh food. Then they waited until i was done, assuring me throughout that it's not a problem at all. Top marks, beyond the call of duty! Special thanks to the chef for the food and to Tamara for her excellent service.

Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and pillows, good shower. Very friendly staff. For the price I would have expected breakfast to be included. I'd definitely stay here again. Had a fine meal in the evening.

I’ll give this 5 stars because the personnel at the reception is very welcoming and friendly, the restaurant staff as well. They look after the customers and create a warm atmosphere. The view from the Mountain View room deserves all the 10 stars. Not dropping the score for this but I absolutely must mention it. I was not feeling well during my stay, and spent a lot of time in the room. There is absolutely no noise cancellation there. I could hear everything going on in the corridor. Cannot complain about other guests being loud or their kids running around. But the housekeeping!!! The entire day they were vacuuming something (with the loudest vacuum cleaner in the world). They are banging!!! doors. Throwing tools on the floor. I mean it really felt like they were doing this on purpose? I would not do any of this when I clean my own house and I am all alone there. On another note, I love dogs and puppies. Who doesn’t? But would I keep dogs and puppies in a hotel, where I have paying customers trying to sleep and the dogs won’t stop barking? I would reconsider this part. I was looking for a peaceful and quiet getaway in the mountains. It was not peaceful and quiet unfortunately.

I have visited Stancia restaurant on 15th of August. Me and my friend ordered an iced coffee and bottle of water. Firstly, it took them to make simple iced coffee about 40 minutes and eventually, brought the order without the bottle of water. When paying, their arrogant and inexperienced waiter (He didn't give me the name when I asked and responded "my name is waiter with mean bitchy face) charged for the undelivered bottle of water, when I told him that the water was not delivered he offered me to take it with me, such a stupidity, why do I need bottle of water as take away for 4 gel when I can buy it for 1 gel in the supermarket??? I needed it at the table. I demanded the cancellation of payment and to charge me for two iced coffees only, which ****** with taste by the way. The very same mean waiter responded me with bitchy face once again that he won't cancel the payment. I asked for the manager and he told his colleague "call the manager, which we don't have" Their so called manager came and it took her 15 minutes to cancel the damn payment and charge me with the correct amount. Horrible place, horrible service.

We had a very bad service with bad food. We ordered two barbecue chicken. They brought small dishes with only chicken that has nothing with it. I told them to bring ketchup and my friend ask bread. They brought little ketchup in a small dish and add 3 GEL to the order and brought old bread which we couldn’t eat at all and add 3.5 GEL. It was the first time a restaurant brought little ketchup in a small plate and add to the invoice. If it’s new maybe will be fine but like this!!!! The lady said all restaurants in Georgia like this which not true. Anyway when we paid she didn’t give me the full change like I didn’t release but when I told her you have to give me more she acted like she didn’t know. I recommend not to go and if you go, be careful when you pay as they will try to take more
